    TRACEY'S BIRTHDAY CHALLENGE


    I am challenging myself to follow the original OMAD protocol to see if I can make continuous progress without having to backtrack and have a continuous losing trend until my birthday on September 16. I would really like to get through the 150's during this time, but will be content with whatever number I have because I will have stayed the course and not gotten off track.

    I will post my daily weights here (Official weekly weights in bold) and welcome any and all support, advice, encouragement, and tough love if needed.

    18 August - 160.7
    19 August - 159.4
    20 August - 158.4
    21 August - 158.4
    22 August - 158.0
    23 August - 157.4
    24 August - 158.1 ???

    Not sure what happened here, but I didn't deviate from OMAD so I know the losses will continue. No fret, no worries.

    My trending weight is now in the 150's. I am boldly saying the 160's are now gone forever.

    I think I'll be joining you on basic OMAD again. I've been doing OMAD, but with longer windows and it's been going well, but I'm tired of the 170s and am ready to make a break for it. Lol

    Amazing!! Really makes me want to do proper OMAD for a week or two. My problem is snacking while I'm cooking - how do you stop from tasting everything?

    I used to have that same problem with tasting everything, but I was able to break that habit after a few days of catching myself. I'd say, "Ahhhhht!!", outloud to myself and stop. Even said, "What are you doing!!!??", a few times. Lol

    Don't know if Tracey used that method or she tastes, but just wanted to share how I stopped it. :)

    I have never been much of a taster when I cook so that is not an issue for me.

    Maybe if you have a tooth bleaching tray...put a dab of toothpaste in it and wear it while you're cooking. I'm usually cooking just 30 minutes before we eat but somehow I don't taste test...Also you can chew gum.

    Great suggestions guys... Will see if I can put them into practice tonight. I think the gum might work for me - the habit is so ingrained I'm not sure that talking to myself will work so well (though I do talk to myself a fair bit - working from home alone and all!!! :D )
