You might have already explained this elsewhere but what did you do for the other phases of your weight loss?0 -

I'm going through the phases in sequential order 1-5.
1 and 2 were covered in the video below.
4 and 5 will be forthcoming.

JIM!!! These videos are great! Good for you for telling your story. You will help so many people.0

Jim, I watched your videos and they gave me the push I needed to get back on the wagon. I let a few days go by after Christmas and watched your videos last night....was just what I needed....so thank you very much.0

Thank you @brittdee88 and @katjustkat0

I watched the first 3. They were great! I may try to really fill up with the steamed vegetables like you did for your phase II. I think it was probably easier for you cause you were low carb. I'm not and I think it contributes to my hunger the next day.0

Month Weight
August....184.2
Sept........178.8
Oct.........176.7
Nov........176
Dec........173.2
Final 2017 recap
Jan 1 weight 286.6
Dec 31 weight 172.6
114 pounds lost in 2017. What a year for me.
179 pounds lost since beginning.
Focus for 2018 will be building core and upper body strength.
Will continue to run and thinking to add bicycling to the mix.
I'd like to see the weight drop into the 160's and to stay lean.
But I have no timetable anymore, I truly feel at peace and ready to maintain a healthy lifestyle going forward.
Happy Healthy New Year to everyone!2 -

@Jim_fbr, thanks for that. I was not able to do pure calorie restriction and LC was also not sustainable for me. You had brilliant results for Phases 1 and 2. Wow again and what an achievement.0 -
What a fabulous year Jim! I can't wait to watch your videos when I can find some time... Hopefully tonight after work...0

Well I got a little gung-ho to start off the year in terms of exercise. Got carried away with squats, kettle bell swings, and planks, meanwhile didn't allow enough recovery time and sure enough last Sunday my hamstring tightened up while running. I had to really go slow this past week. Didn't work out at all only walking and easy short runs. Feeling better now, was able to do an easy 8 mile run this morning with only very minor twinges in the beginning. Think I'll have to stick to maybe one HIIT session per week for now. I definitely need the recovery time.0

Oh no! Injuries suck big time... At least it sounds like you didn’t do any damage and you’re listening to your body and not trying to just push through...0

Oh this was minor, and no way would I try to push through it. I've learned to be patient and give my body a chance to rebound before moving forward.1
