So I had an appointment today with a new doctor - long story but I'm switching my primary care physician. There's a lot of high blood pressure in my family but so far I've been able to manage mine with diet and exercise. In advance of the visit I decided to check my blood pressure and found it was high. I've been having a stressful week so I thought it might be a fluke. But I checked it a couple more times during the week and it was still high. So I figured that was it, I'd be going on medication when I saw the doctor. But then I got up this morning and decided to go for a run in spite of how busy I am and the stress I'm under and you know what? After I got back from the run my blood pressure was normal and it was still normal when I got to the doctor's office in the afternoon. I knew exercise was important and could help control your blood pressure but I didn't know it worked that fast!2

Oh dear lord. I am so, so sorry, Dean. When I lost my lab last week we took such comfort in the fact that he died so quickly - one minute he was there and the next he was gone. Nothing sadder than a dog that is suffering and has to be put down. No matter how many times you've done it I'm sure it's heartbreaking when it's your dog. Yes, I sure know you are going to miss her. <hugs>0 -

Dean: I am so sorry to hear about your Dobie. What an awful ordeal to deal with. I know how much you care for your fur babies and I am sure she will be missed. As Janet said, does not matter how many times we go through it, it is never easy. My heart goes out to you and your family.0 -

I am so sorry to hear about your fur baby. I know there are no words to say to make you feel better, just know that we all care. Losing a precious pet is tough, to have to make a decision is double tough. {{{{{hugs}}}}} to you0 -
