Hi! My husband and I are also just starting the keto lifestyle. We are doing the fit2fat2fit challenge since we both have busy schedules and this gives us our meal plan with recipes and grocery lists. It also gives us daily workouts. I paid a one time fee but it was well worth it. If you ever want to swap recipes let me know!

I agree!!! I have been in so many times to be told nothing is wrong. It so frustrating. I'm gonna call a specialist today and see what I can do.

@HaideeJo13 - Do you have any other symptoms? And where on your flank specifically? (HUGS) I hate that we women especially so often get told we're imagining things. (HUGS)

It's mainly flank pain, specifically my right side. And also pain right under my rib on the right side. AND my legs have a super weird numbness. Both legs. No doctors seem to even care about the numbness which I think is strange. I swear literally everyone is just telling me nothing is wrong. I'm paying WAY to much to be told nothing is wrong. This pain can not be nothing. The numbness definitely can't just be nothing.

With all your heavy workload, could you have pinched a nerve in your back? That only flares up in certain positions, like prone when sleeping? @HaideeJo13 If so, it might be worth going to a chiropractor if you can afford it (GroupOn generally has some great discounts to make this more cost effective.).

The pain on right flank and under rib on the right sight specifically sounds like digestive drama, even if not yet gallstones, etc.

P.S. Gallstones can be made in the liver, too, so I hope they checked that on the ultrasound.

Just to see if that is a factor, you could try some digestive enzymes. Dr. Berg has a more expensive formula that he likes for gallbladder support (like sluggish or low function, etc.), but I prefer a full spectrum digestive enzyme. There are a few, but my personal favorite is NOW Brand Super Enzymes. Some places actually suggest to start with just Betaine HCL to see if it is low stomach acid, and that's a component of the one I take now, but I didn't tolerate it well on it's own... Let me know if you want me to send some articles your way.

Do you have any bathroom drama?

Because honestly, digestion related could be causing something to press on a nerve that's causing the leg thing, too, and it should be fairly simple to rule OUT...rather than expensive things like x-rays and MRI's, etc.

I actually had a weird digestive problem that simulated asthma breathing issues...until I figured out that problem and eliminated the issue...

Well yesterday and last night was much better. I kinked my back a little yesterday working out and so I am going to go see a chiropractor and see if that helps clear up some issues.
I do not have bathroom issues, I can eat just fine. Nothing flares up the pain in particular. I do have a very physical job so it could be just a back issue. To be quite honest I would prefer a fixable back issue than digestive or organ problems. So first stop chiropractor. If that doesn't clear things up... then to the gastroenterologist. Thanks everyone for the advice, support and suggestions!

    Hi everyone,

The past two days have been a bit rough. My heart rate is high. I can feel it, especially at night when I am in bed. My resting rate is 91bpm, and walking from one room to another gets it to 124bpm...

I've read that this could be a sign of electrolyte deficiency, specifically potassium.

Does any of you went through this and improved after being fat adapted?

My scale is crapping out on me. As much as I would love to weigh 120-130. Like my scale told me, I know that that is not accurate lol. So i am going today to get a new one. Any suggestions? I know I want digital. I had a Taylor digital scale from Wal-Mart. Has anyone tried the Bluetooth scales?

No, I take multi vitamins that are low in potassium, actually. I am trying to get it from my food but I am not quite sure where to start. What experience do you have with the supplements? Any product you'd reconmend?

I take a potassium supplement. As well as a one a day vitamin, collagen and apple cider vinegar pills. I feel like they help!

Have you tried changing the batteries? I always magically weigh about 70lbs less when the batteries are low. :)

Here is the Ceasar Salad dressing/dip recipe!

    1 cup Hellman's mayo
    1 cup freshly grated parmesan
    80ml of olive oil
1 tbsp anchovy paste (you will not taste it at all, it only brings a savoury taste to it.)
    Zest of 1 lemon
    Juice of 1 lemon
    2 tbsp balsamic wine vinegar
    1 tsp black pepper

Blend everything together until smooth. If too chunky you can add more olive oil. It will thicken up in the fridge.

This made a little over 2 cups. I like to let it chill for at least 2 hours in the fridge, it tastes a lot better when chilled. Soooo so good!

I have a Weight Gurus Bluetooth scale. I love it! It syncs with MFP, FitBit, and probably other apps as well. It does body composition, and although I'm fairly certain it's not the most accurate way to measure BMI & body fat, I use those stats to see how I'm trending in those areas. I bought it at Bed Bath & Beyond with a 20% off coupon. MSRP is 59.99.

Haha I did try changing the batteries, no luck. Darn thing. It is pretty old though, maybe 5 years, and I have put it through hell hahaha!!!
I am going to go to Bed Bath and Beyond today, I will check it out. I kinda wanna upgrade to a Bluetooth, so I am excited. Never thought I would be excited for a new scale lmao!!

Oh man, I've had the same scale for 15 years and at my highest I weighed more that it would read!! I've beat the crap out of that thing... even taking it on holiday haha. I have been dreaming of a fancy new scale that syncs to my apps and measures bf% etc... maybe that will be my next special purchase :) My partner, friends and anyone who has used my bathroom/stepped on the scale while in there say it reads 8-10 lbs high, so it would be cool if I was actually 10 lbs lighter than I think! Haha :)

    I weighed in today 1/10/18
    SW- 195 (back in October)
    CW- 185.75
GW-165 ( My March 1st goal. My actual goal weight is much lower, but I'd like to be 20lbs down at the start of my vacation on 3/1).

I have the Fitbit Aria scale. I like that it syncs with my apps, not sure how accurate the bf% is. Its nice to have different profiles for my husband and I. It is pretty pricey in my opinion for a scale though. It was a splurge when we got it
