I only have two left. I just tossed them so I am not tempted. Hoping that is the reason. Even though I love love love those veggie burgers.
All I know is that when I started on the juice thing...making it a big portion of my food intake, the pain really subsided.
Juice challenge begins tomorrow. I am going to do it...but will add fresh fruit and veggies at night...plain.1 -
Thanks...it is helping...yesterday, I was on my legs a lot so that was where the pain came from. But was, at least, able to do some chores and shop without pain. Pain, came late in the day.
Doing great on primarily juicing...today, having a riced cauliflower dish...any suggestions?
I did not buy the big bag at Costco...just a small one at Trader Joes.

red juice (beets, carrots, oranges, lemon, ginger)
celery and 100 pack guaca
green juice (kale, celery, cukes, apple, lemon, ginger)
herbal tea
fresh blueberries/watermelon/pineapple

riced cauliflower mixture

Made my cauliflower rice with sauteed onions, celery and mushrooms. Having it hot for lunch. Pretty good.0

Quinoa, black beans, cilantro with cumin and cayenne seasoning
I think that's it...unless I cut up some watermelon and pineapple.

Good golly I had a rough few days. I was in a 3 day 9am-9pm meeting and not organized enough to manage my own food. Food was being provided by the organizers, and I ate it.
UGH. By Thursday I had a tummy ache. Still do. And bloated, and constipated. Time for a little refresh!1 -

Well, the quinoa and black beans were great, but oh my gosh, too many...tummy ache AT WORK. Not doing THAT again.

Sorry I've been AWOL here. I just spent the last couple of weeks in NY visiting with family. It was great for the spirit but lousy for the weight gain. So, I'm back and on SB, at least I will be once I run out to the supermarket to get some food in the house.0

No meat of any kind since April 10th. Only thing I have had that is not vegan I think are eggs (organic, grass fed, free range) and parm/reggiano. Oh, and I did have some wild caught salmon the other day. I have a few pieces left in the freezer. Giving all my chicken/turkey and meat to a friend tomorrow.
I do have a lot of Wild Planet Albacore tuna in the pantry. Not sure how I am going to go forward with that. Tuna has been off my list for so long cuz of the mercury...but this brand seems safe...I don't know. Might just donate it. Bought lots when it was on sale at Costco.

Did not start out with this in mind, it just sort of evolved. Only time I think I miss meat is when I see BBQ rib commercials. I think I do miss biting into those ribs.
Not sure how long I will keep this up...but for now, it is fine.
Spent 40 minutes in the pool today along with strength training using my Chair Gym.
Have lost ten pounds since I started April 10th.

And BTW, blood pressure was 140 over I can't remember.
