I feel like I am pushing myself and am actually looking forward to a chill day with my mom on Saturday. Last night I played beach volleyball. I am super competitive (watch out Fitbit challengers) and not playing last summer due to being pregnant slowed me down a little. I am sore today but still did body pump, mowed my parents grass and am now eating a stupid salad getting ready for indoor volleyball. Quite the day.

Greetings from the future. I've traveled forward in time to Scout out Friday for the group. So far, things look promising. Sunny blue skies with a fresh cool breeze. Ideal conditions for finishing a good week.

Goals: Okay, I did something today that I'm a little proud of myself for. I've been behind on my lifting this week, long story, lack of motivation, soreness and a day late on my trainer session this week so all of that together put me behind, but...I combined my last 2 workouts of the week and caught up. Realistically, this is something I need to get comfortable doing anyway, if I plan on competing...but I've always been a bit worried I wouldn't have the stamina for it. So I'm happy to say, I just did 4 big lifts in this workout and made it through, yay!!

    Track: Yes
Calories: Calories, yes, macros no, was a tad over on my protein again, but I was less hungry today so...maybe I just need a little more right now..we shall see.
    Exercise:Yes, 60 mins lifting
    Water Intake: 99 oz

@Fyreside We obviously live in very different areas!! Perhaps alternate universes... this particular dimension that I'm living in is expecting heavy storms and thundershowers... several areas of my little village are on floodwatch :worried:

    Warning, possible TMI.....

So the bad news - doctor couldn't find the strings for my IUD, so now I have to make another appointment and go back to try it again, with ultrasound. :frowning:
The good news - I'm not cramping all that badly, and might actually be able to do my regular workouts this weekend

    Mexiconona. Friday, May 18th.
    Weigh in day today 151lbs.
Last Friday 150.8. Unfortunately, I have a gain of .2 lbs.
    Track Yes
    Calories no, over
    Exercise yes 20 min. Walking
    Fasting no
I had my teeth lightened last night. My teeth look great! My dentist said that tea, smoking, dark sodas such as Pepsi and Coke, and beets stain teeth. The worst are tea and smoking. I don’t smoke but I love ice tea. I can have coffee with cream. The first thing every morning, I have plain coffee. I had to have cream in it this morning and It’s hard to believe but because if it, I could not fast. I messed up all day, went way over my carb limit and calories. I also worked hard all last week on fasting, etc and I can’t break my plateau. I will try again tomorrow. Hopefully recognizing that cream in my coffee triggers hunger and a loss of willpower, I will be prepared.

Comments: I guess at least I more or less maintained the weight-loss. But this week I want to lose more that just 0.4 pounds lol but I'm not surprised because I wasn't as good this week. Next week will be much better though.

Comments: Pretty good day compared to other days in the week so I was happy with it. Today also looks like it will be good as well. So far so good.

@mexiconona For me, "Fat fasting" helps, if I have coffee, which I usually don't, I either put butter or MCT oil in it, fat only supposedly doesn't work as much against you when you're fasting, it does a bit, but not as much as other things, and if you're Keto--actualy gives you a pretty good boost of energy to power through. I can't say how much it messes with breaking the fast, but supposedly, if you're going to do something it's better to have fat first, then protein and "carbs" later in the day...Supposed to help your energy levels and mental focus...and I can say that it does help my gym performance, so there must be at least some truth to it...

Exercise- not really- does cleaning 2 bathrooms count?
    Water- decent intake
I think I decided to work on dropping the weight with keto before attempting to tone up. I have 60 pounds to lose and I’m down 16 as of this morning. Maybe once I hit 150 (goal is 135) I will start trying to tone up and add muscle. Just an idea at this point but I haven’t been working out much since my gallbladder issue grounded me for a few days. Luckily I have been feeling good since though!

    Tracked - yep
Calories - Yep. I try not to eat back my exercise calories but I did dip into them a little today.
Exercise - 18000 steps (126 mins of increased heartrate)
    Water - 3L+
    Sleep - 7hrs-ish

A big NSV for me today... I bought 3 new pieces of clothing today and they are all size medium. This is huge for me, since this time last year most my clothes were 1XL & 2XL!!

@Keri8680 In my world, cleaning bathrooms counts. :) I think it's a good idea to compartmentalize your action plans a little. When I tried doing it all at once I failed. (Note: keep calm post earlier, lol) So I think you're on the path to success. A quick headsup, be prepared to put on a little water weight when you increase your exercise. It's pretty much unavoidable as your body puts on some muscle. But it's worth it because muscle burns calories.

@River_Goddess Wow, that is a great NSV. Congrats. Also pah to your 18000 steps. :p

@mexiconona I'm really surprised at the cream thing. I have lots of cream in my coffee and get on with my day feeling quite satisfied.

Goals: Comparatively low impact day due to a few hours of driving that needed to be done. Got a couple of new tools for the workshop that will allow me to increase productivity next week. Which is good since I spent all my money and will be stuck in the shed for a few days lol. Goal wise, I'm keenly aware that my body has been requesting a rest day for a while now. Which usually would be my Sunday. However with new power tools to play with, I'm betting tomorrow will be less restful than ideal. I had a pretty cruisy afternoon tho, so meh.. It's all good and well to write rest day on the calendar, but life is more dynamic than that. I think I'm just writing all this to remind myself to make the time to chill out and maintain a sustainable pace. If I push too hard I will just burn out and waste a couple of weeks getting back to calm.
    Track: Yes
    Calories:Yes
Exercise:Not an inactive day by any stretch, but less aerobic or resistance exercise than my current average.
Water Intake: Not good enough. Need to think about water more when I have days away from my infrastructure.
    Est Net Carbs: 19

As we finish another week, I'd just like to say what a great group we have this month. It's a smaller team than usual, but great participation and mutual support. I'm really enjoying the vibe and look forward to checking the thread each day. Go team :)
