Not a good start at all, and I’m sorry I’m two days late! I was out of town for Labor Day until late last night. Like a few people on here, August was not good at all for me and I’m determined to make up for lost time. I’m going to do my best to give up sugar as that is my downfall. Please friend me if you’d like and are doing the same!

Hi everyone! I hope that I find motivation with this group. I hadn't weighed myself in a year and when I did I gained 40 pounds and I was devastated. I had a mental breakdown and it was not pretty. Now that I have calmed down I am ready to kick things into high gear.
My live in boyfriend is currently in Thailand and I miss him dearly to where it has caused me to eat junk food, so I am trying to get that under control until he gets back on the 12th. I eat a vegan diet, but I manage to find junk food like Oreos. I need help, and I hope to find it with you guys3 -

Daily Goals: obtain Ecto-containment unit permit from the EPA. Will try to do more of the same the rest of the week and up it a little each week.
Let me know if you get that permit. I have been trying to get mine up and operational, but those pencil pushers keep making me turn it off... soon I fear something strange in the neighborhood. Not sure who I would call then...
We are usually out on a rail trail, the C&O canal towpath (184 miles in length so lots of different places to go) or actual mountain bike trails. The mountain bike trails are a new addition for me and my skills at hopping over and navigating around obstacles definitely need work! Yesterday we did a few hours on the canal.

@hsuarez1991 It's not a problem, sorry if I wasn't clear in my explanation. You can post the daily post and your weight together, just as long as it has "CW" or "current weight" so we know that's your current weight for the week. Thanks for posting your current weight

Goals/Day: it was really hot today...it was my goal to get out and walk despite the heat!! The normal after work bike ride was scrubbed because of the heat!1 -

Had a long day at work. Came home, got 2 kids to dance, then had my 2nd job. Just getting home. Lots of walking even though not around the track or neighborhood.

I just wanted to say - I am proud of all of us. We are all doing our best every day and THAT is what matters!
I have an optional mini-challenge to get us through the week. It's not fitness related, its not health related. Just fun, and a good way to get to know each other better.

This is my happy place - Santa's Magical Kingdom... because as a tradition, all of us (all 8) go ever year. Yes, it is cheesy and corny, and yes, my oldest groans every year. But this makes me happy because it is a wonderful time of year and we get to spend it as a family!

Track: Unable to accurately add food from today’s potluck
Calories: Unsure..so I’m saying no
Exercise: 35 minute Kettlebell workout and 15 minute walk around the track
Goal: I was careful at our potluck, ate baked chicken, veggies, salad, and had one small slice of homemade cheesecake. However, I’m sure it put me over my daily calorie count. My success was getting out and walking for 15 minutes between meetings. It was nice to get outside after being stuck in a meeting for 2 hours. Tomorrow’s goal is to work on increasing my water intake. The last few day's I haven't been meeting my normal goal of at least 64 ounces.3 -

Increase my gym activities to 4 days/week. Just completed a swimming class where I overcame my fear of the deep end of the pool. This is one of my greatest accomplishments ever.3 -
I had not a single drink for 10 days!!! And I was eating super healthy. But this morning I woke up and I was so hungry and needed just carbs! I ate a whole pack of chocolate buns.... so I will be totally over today. The weather here is great today. Maybe I will take the boys swimming later. Already done my workout this morning: 1 hour tabata...2

Things like that happen! Don't let it get you down. The key is that you understood why it happened, and can create a plan to deal with it if that type of hunger strikes again. And, it sounds like you have a plan to work some of that off!0
