Fast day 1 did me well weight wise. I weighed in at 167.1 this morning for an overnight loss of 4 pounds. I am thinking I may lose an additional 2 pounds tonight and 2 pounds Wednesday night which may have me at 163 on Thursday. The challenge will be to maintain the loss over the weekend. I think I might do a low carb/keto weekend to help hold on to my losses and then gradually add in healthy carbs after that.
I have my doctor appointment on Monday so I want my weight to be on the low side. If I can manage around 163 pounds, I will be happy with that and I think my doctor will be too.1 -

Steph, for some reason drinking water or any non-calorie beverage makes me hungry. I can handle my fasts much better with little fluids. I am trying to drink more water today and am riding out the hunger spells. I just finished 33 ounces of water. I think I am going to have to really force myself to drink more.0 -

That's so interesting because I 100% would die of hunger (physical AND mental) without a SH** ton of liquids - water, black coffee/tea, diet soda...gotta have something, and LOTS of it or I'd struggle...funny how we have opposite reactions LOL0 -
When I am having unbearable hunger, I drink my keto coffee (170 calories). It is a fast breaker but it has no carbs, and the fats in the butter and MCT oil powder tide me over until meal time.0

I am addicted to crunchy ice (you know the Sonic kind) so for me i usually will eat two large 64 oz cups of it a day at work.....it satisfies my need to crunch......and sometimes I put sugar free water flavoring in it to give it some taste...….But it does the trick...….0

See here's the thing - if I was going to break my fast with pure fat (and I do make a sad attempt at sticking to fat or protein if I do) then I'd want an avocado or something LOL - though I've heard good things about MCT oil0 -
I am not a fan of avocado. I can tolerate it in a salad or mixed in with other stuff but not alone.0

Day 2 of 3-day fast. No food, only water. I was able to drink 67 ounces today.
I did a good bit of walking today so hopefully, I burned a lot of fat and may be down more than 2 pounds in the morning.1 -

Didn't get the 2 pound drop this morning. Weighed in at 165.5 a drop of 1.6 pounds. I am supposing the big 4 pound drop was mostly water weight and I believe the 1.6 drop and whatever I lose overnight tonight will be mostly fat loss. I think I should still be able to pull off a morning weight in the 163.X arena.0

I hadn't even thought about Friday. I was focused on 163 for Thursday. I believe a low carb Thursday can totally help me get to 161 on Friday. Let's do this!!

Yes Donna - you had some major setbacks that put you a little behind where we're at but I'm STILL AMAZED that you didn't put anything on throughout that process! I'd have thrown on 15 pounds without blinking lmao0

Day 3 of 3 day fast was a success. No food. About 36 ounces of water.
My fitbit let me down and somehow during the syncing process managed to reset all of my numbers except my steps. My miles and my active minutes were just gone and set back to zero so it appear as I am lacking in some areas but trust me I was all green yesterday.0 -
Happy Thursday everyone. Fast day 3 was a success. I had an overnight loss of 2.3 pounds putting me at 163.2 pounds this morning.
I am happy about that, but now the challenge; now that I am back to eating is to maintain my loss or continue to lose. I have my eyes on a 161.x weight for tomorrow which would require me to have an overnight loss of 1.3 pounds minimum but of course the more the merrier.
