Comments: I've been trying to mix up the cuisine a bit at home so it won't become too boring. I made shrimp and pork tenderloin okonomiyaki (it's like a savory pancake) for dinner. It looks high calorie (it can be depending on what fillings you put inside) but that and the cucumber salad I made to go with it came up to be under 400 calories. It's 75% cabbage, so that helps. It was a big success!

@kearyandjessy I always suggest starting small, maybe find a way to cut 100 calories out of your day, or go for a 20 min walk every day, that all adds up. And it gets easier with time, and results get addicting!2 -

Comments: Set some new goals today, I've really been struggling to stay the course and set new goals and I think it's because I'm goal oriented and I work well with deadlines, and I don't have a deadline right now. My trainer suggested that we set some goals together and I think his idea is that I might get the sense of the "deadline" that I need to stay on track. I have never really felt like I needed the accountability, but since I shared that struggle with him the other day, I can honestly say that I've felt less lost and more in control of my food choices and I'm finding that very interesting.6 -

Comments: I was focusing on calories due to 2 Christmas parties. I was happy to stay under calories but working on not eating all of the sweets 🍬

So yes kinda disappointed but to be expected since I cheated a few times this week on top of being sick, I think too much MCT OIL, but good news is that I've been working out with my Total Gym twice this week so far and yesterday I completed 15 minutes without stopping once. Going try to get a couple more workouts in before I leave for down south for celebration of my mom's and mine birthday. So this is my last weigh in until I get back on the 3rd or 4th. But I am making a goal to post daily while I am away to keep me on track cause I have already set my cheat days which is the 25th (one tablespoon of 1 dish at Christmas), 30th (my dinner at Golden Corral) and 31st (only slice of cake). So now that I have confess my goals to my team I have to stick woth it. Also my goal for 2019 first weigh in is to be 499.9lbs. I also going to try to move around more maybe walk for 10 to 15minutes instead of laying down watching tv I am going to try taking the doggies for a walk using my cane or walker.

I realize I creeped back up into the 160s (barely) but if I hadn't had that initial push to get back down in the 150s, I would be closer to 170 right now. So I am very much ok with this!
I know I'm kind of absent.... work is insane at this time of year. I work in accounting and end of year is full of all the year end changes and reporting. Plus time off for holidays, and stuff, makes every day even more insane!
