Well I'll take that I guess. No gain for Christmas and I didn't work out much last week cuz your steps don't count without your Fitbit, lol. I loving my new Fitbit and figuring out how it all works but I am making sure I get tons of steps. I keep checking my friends list on Fitbit and watching my name rise up on the list, I'm not competitive or anything, haha. I might try to get out this weekend to get my new sneakers. I have a few things to get done around the house today. I already got my workout done. Have a great day3

My little one is much better @cyndiesstuff @sleepymom5 @Mrsbell8well Thank you all for your concern! He got the nasty GI bug that has been going around. While not a huge deal for adults, it was a major concern for dehydration with him being so little. Hes still not 100% but definintly better! Unfortunately my diet was bigtime off due to the sickness/hospital and christmas. So even tho ive been back on 2 days now, ill probably gain on weigh in day 😣 win some lose some!5

Water: some but not enough
Exercise & Steps: 14 min Bowflex intervals, 6 mile dog hike; 17,423 steps
Still struggling with my water intake while the weather is so cold. Hubby got me a Bowflex Max Trainer for Christmas... yesterday was my second workout on it. It takes some getting used to as I can be super clumsy but I feel its working different muscles. It will be really nice to have when the worst of winter settles in and I can't exercise outside as much. Felt great to get out with the dogs for a hike and some fresh air. I need to plan the next few dinners and go to the grocery store... I seem to do better when I do that.4 -
@Mrsbell8well love your jean inspiration. My granddaughters name is Sophia! sooo fricken cute. she is a mini me with blonde hair! lol. you are soooo much slimmer that you were in august. you are looking awesome! woooo whooo.
@nstephenson01 I am glad that your Christmas was more relaxing than in years past. Isn't it funny how time changes things!. a tiny loss my butt. that is great for Christmas. what a wonderful Christmas present to yourself. a loss on the week of Christmas.
@lennoncpa I use to clog dance when I was a young girl. We have a whole dutch community up north here in Michigan. It is amazing to go there.
@sleepymom5 Christmas sure was exhausting this year. But really I guess this is not like years from times past. and your children are just lovely. you are a lucky woman! My granddaughters name is Sophia. and she is my little dolly. I just wish she was not all the way in Florida. you have been doing great. you are almost thru the holidays and you were relatively good on your trip to the shore. commit that to memory. that is a wonderful change for you. and you are looking amazing by the way. that is what daisy is saying from the bed. she said girl you are rocking that outfit. I am sure that part of my problem is inflammation. and I certainly don't think is helps my weight loss struggles. but I am not going to kid you. I ate ALOT.
@ihp2015 you are so stickin cute! You can so get back to that weight. lets do this in 2019! and love the nsv with the jacket. you have changes so much in the short time that I have know you. keep that up. and your right. just for today. it is just one day. we can do this.

Throwback Thursday...I just wanted to comment on my pics. I feel so much love and compassion for the woman in my top picture. All of her generous curves. And such respect for the woman in the bottom picture for all her hard work and pride in her determination to continue with her yoga program as she makes health her number one priority.
We are all beautiful every step of the way.7 -
@czvanut thanks for jumping in! We are a wonderful supportive group. Please feel free to use this space to support others and to use as your personal check in to find your way on your adventure. You are very welcome here!
@Shirin_K Hey girl we are in our 160's...how about that! Great success!
@nstephenson01 great loss through the holidays! I am so excited for you getting the bowflex. Interested to hear about your progress. Same with you @sleepymom5 It's so exciting to have new tools but such a pain on the learning curve. Good luck!
@ihp2015 love the progress! It all adds up.
@mandi5512 so glad babe is better. Keep posting. We are here for you as you turn yourself around and get back on course. What a great time to start a new attitude and new journey! 2019 is ours!!!
@cyndiesstuff our Adrienne in yoga always says "we will catch you if you fall". That's us girl. We are all here for you. I KNOW you will kick this challenge to the curb. Go ahead and cry...wipe those tears and watch as you turn them into tears of joy as you take control of your health and eating habits. I would wager that just about every person on this team has been there and done that! I gained a ton of weight last winter when OF moved in. I know @sleepymom5 mentioned she too gained a lot during the wedding time frame. I never swear...but who gives a f*** about your past???? This is now this is the new you...at least it will be soon as you gear up for the new changes you will make as you find your way on your healing journey. It's ok. You are going to make it. This episode has given you tons of information of how NOT to live. lol. You have less than 15 pounds to lose to get to your goal. And it's not even about the weight. Your new vibrant healthy body will be your reward. Hope...babe...hope...we have got your back and will continue to support you. And btw...tons of kudos for having the courage to be open and honest about your journey.3 -
@twyla77 lol...love your new man. Looks very cuddly on a cold winter night!2

Back home from Christmas in the mountains, and back to work tomorrow!
I didn’t track my meals for the last few days, and I feel like my sweet tooth got best of me unfortunately. But a family member did mention they were impressed with the amount of veggies on my plate at dinner, lol.
Went to Banff on Christmas Day, and met a new man, pic attached!
Handsome couple 😂 I was in Banff once, when I was a kid. I just remember lots of pine trees and mountains 😁 maybe one day we will go back again...but Quebec City first!3 -
After two days of naughtiness I am starting my new years resolution sugar band early
Perfect timing! It takes a couple of days to work it’s way out of your system so you will be good on Jan 1!! Just need to get through these few days...trick is to drink lots of water. It does help!1 -

Hey Everyone! I've just joined the group for the January challenge. I am excited about joining a group for support and accountability. I keep wanting to lose weight, but am unmotivated and lack will power.
Anyway, starting weight as of yesterday is 164 (home scale is usually 5 lbs lighter than at the gym or doctor's office, but I'm going with it.)
Welcome!! You will love this group! I joined last month and everyone is so nice and friendly!3 -
Hello all! Well the holiday season came and went SOOO fast, I am down with a little bug right now so just taking it easy and hoping to be over it soon. Yesterday I was able to get my steps in, we will see about today. I slept in until noon. 😁 obviously I needed it. Hope everyone has a good successful day!6
-
@ carlsoda Hope you get over that lil bug real fast!1
-
@sleepymom5 @cyndiesstuff actually it was a gain during tge week but i somehow managed it. I literally had nightmares of going back to my starting weight.2

I am sure I am not the only one thinking about 2019. What does your New Year look like? Where will you be and what will you be doing?
In 1 year from now you will be getting ready for 2020. What number will you see on the scale? What health changes will you have manifested? Do you see yourself involved with any fitness routines or fitness goals that are fun and exciting?
What have you accomplished in 2018 that you are proud of?
For me I have done a great job with my yoga plan. I am on day 57 of consecutive yoga days.
This year I have lost 37 pounds.
I have completely overhauled my "diet". I have survived two major cleanses including giving up caffeine, sugar, gluten, dairy, animal products and alcohol.
My "GERD" symptoms have vanished.
I went from "obese" to "overweight"
2019:
January I will hit the 40 pounds lost marker with 20 left to go. It's a stretch but I expect to see 159.8 by January 31st.
I will hit my goal of weighing 142 and be in the "normal" range by June 1st.
I will successfully begin and complete the C25K 8 week training program.
By my birthday October 7th I expect to be down to a manageable maintenance weight. 135 ish?
By This time next year I will be a slender, toned, strong, radiantly healthy woman.
My workout routine will include yoga, running, walking, hiking, and strength training.
I will wear cute little clothes...size 10? 8? 6?...no idea.
I will have some pretty cute new sexy bikinis to wear pool side!
Ready to say bye bye to 2018 and THANK YOU! Thank you to this team and all the continued love and support.
Come on 2019...I am ready!!!! Are you????

Happy Thursday everyone. I did well over Christmas and then had a bad day yesterday!?!? Can’t figure that one out! Anyways- I did manage to make it through without any sweets- and that has been since November! I’m proud of that! Especially since I was in charge of bringing the dessert for Christmas Day and I brought my favorite! They tried sending leftovers home with me but I knew that was a no no!! My December goal of portion control has been okay but not perfect. That one is going to take a lot of work. My January goal is to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. I tried starting today and had four glasses before I left for work and then never drank any more all day!! So that won’t be an easy one! I might have to set a timer on my phone!! I’m getting super busy at work with tax season about to break lose so it will make the water that much harder! I don’t drink anything with caffeine but when I used to drink coffee I always drank like 20 cups a day! I have to work at drinking water! I guess since it doesn’t give me a buzz I don’t crave it!! Ha ha!!4

Checking in .. I know it's been awhile. I'm mentally off still that's why I've been so distant. I'm finding ways to cope with what's going on in my life but it's hard. But most importantly im trying. I've been on track with my eating. Been on track with my exercises even though they've been harder to do lately due to my leg and back pain. I'm still seeing a therapist and psychiatrist. I'm barley even scraping the surface of my underlining issues. So it will take some time. I hope everyone been working hard and reaching their short term or long term goals7

This is making me laugh today!!3 -
*hugs* @Lyssysho26 I feel for you!! Do what you can.3

@DananaNanas said “I live like 15 minutes from Cedar Point ”.
Omg - that’s one of my favorite places to go, but I’m about 3 hours from there! I haven’t missed a year since I was a kid!!
I’ve had a platinum pass off and on for years... off at the moment. I don’t think I’ve been in the park since like 2016? Lame I know lol. Im somewhat antisocial/not into crowds. I’ll do it for a couple of years then take a year or two off. I used to go to soak city nearly every day. I had a great tan and banging body for a couple of summers... oh how I miss being unemployed
Hit me up this summer! It’d be awesome to grab lunch or something!2 -
@Lyssysho26 you are in my prayers. Exercise and diet are important for our mental health. Good job with your commitment on both. You have done a great job this month. You are still posting here and that’s also encouraging. This is your adventure and we are here to help support you. Your doing great building your support system. Like they say...one day at a time.
@phoebe112476 thanks for the laugh.
@lennoncpa you have great goals. I have a 32 oz water bottle. I m most successful when I drink 1 before noon and another before 4.
Great job with no sugar. Especially through the holidays.
@DananaNanas glad to see your post. Are you feeling any better?2 -
My weight has been up and down this week. I have had eggs or a trail mix bar or something similar for breakfast for a week and staying hungry all day! I usually have an instant breakfast which keeps me full until lunch time. Back to those today. I actually like them too.
I have been off schedule for exercise too but trying to walk more.
Yesterday we went to buy the end tables we saw a couple weeks ago and they were sold out! Placed an order for them and will have to wait about a month. Did get in a lot of steps though with all the errands we did.2 -
I would like to change my weigh in day to Friday. Today is 166.6 Thanks2
