I can't find frozen french toast in any of our stores since the Aunt Jemima supplier issues and NS discontinued it ages ago. What's with that? Frozen waffles are everywhere. I'm not really crazy about frozen waffles.

I always put my work vacation message on for Fridays. Four days a week is all I can stand to be "on call" for emergencies. I guess I'm getting old. But I am doing a conference call this morning at 9 am for a colleague's largest client. Then I'm going to work on CROM's government reports. Doesn't that sound like fun? NOT!! My incentive is that if I get them done this weekend I will have the next two weekends for ME (assuming no big work projects).

Oh my! That's a lot of cats! I remember visiting Hemingway's home in Key West and seeing all those polydactyl cats lying around. They had it made thanks to his bequest.

I am feeling good. I just need to get the heart back in shape. The rate continues to slowly decrease but the sinus rhythm is out of whack.

I got my medical alarm system today that is cellular based. I was concerned that it might nto work well here but it passed on the tests and the communication was very clear.

A friend and I go to the city tomorrow. My hair needs cut and color and highlights. I had made the appointment over a month ago as my person books up early.

Are you ale to drive or will your friend drive? How will they know when the clot is gone?

I am able to drive but I went with a friend to the city today to get my hair cut and colored with highlights. I got Midnight a new pet bed which he is ignoring. Good question on knowing when the clot is gone. I was told two to three weeks because it is small and the Xarelto is working on it.

I watched the movie A street cat named Bob on Amazon last night. It followed the book fairly closely. I hadn’t realized they’d made a movie until I saw a comment on FB.

I didn't realize that either! There were at least 3 books, I think.

I read at least 2 books but there may be a third. The movie was free if you have Prime. Johanna Frogett from Downton Abbey plays the social worker.

Well, this morning I mailed off CROM's IRS and MD state returns, picked up a prescription and got a flu shot. I can't BELIEVE how long those simple errands took. Heaven forbid I needed to do something complex.

QVC's big value of the day is a $200 handbag. These people have NOT seen what I do to a handbag. LOL!

We had one cat who liked dairy (cream and ice cream). The other wouldn’t touch those foods but she liked to steal pieces of salad off DH’s plate. She was our veggie cat. This pic brought back memories of her.

Helene - I can't picture a cat stealing lettuce more than once! She certainly had unique tastes. What was her name?

I'm watching my nutrisystem order. It starts in Chambersburg PA which is maybe a 90 minute drive from Baltimore. That's assuming you take the route a normal person would take. But no, this package is now in..... wait for it......

I have a cardiologist checkup today. I know she won't be happy I didn't lose weight. Well, actually I did, but only after gaining weight. No points for that I guess.

Then I have to go to the printer and pick up our next mailing.

Her name was Cagney. She was a rescue and someone else adopted her sister Lacey before we met Cagney. You see her photo every time I post. She also liked broccoli. She was abandoned as a kitten and was caught hanging around a backyard bird feeder. She was probably hoping for a bird but maybe she was settling for plants. She was my favorite because she was feisty and independent. She was affectionate but on her own terms. We had her 16 years but she hated being picked up. Yet she would stroll over and sit on a lap if she felt like it.

I shouldn't have forgotten that photo is Cagney!!

I may be in the minority but I think most of them hate being picked up.

The cardiologist was happy with my EKG. My "left bundle branch" comes and goes. She says eventually that "wire" will fail completely but as long as the right one still works I should be fine. Of course as usually I'm atypical. Usually it's the right "wire" that fails in people.

She says my blood pressure, on my current meds, is in the "needs to lose weight" rather than "add meds" range (which is weird because almost all values I had written down were in the <130, <80 range she said she wanted). She's also not thrilled with my last cholesterol result (I need to take a look at those results again; I have no memory that it was "off").

So I'm supposed to diet and lose 10 pounds in 6 months. Oh, joy!
