Comments: Everyone's recovery needs are different---I have noted that mine require cardio daily---yesterday I took a total rest day, no walking or anything--that was a big mistake. I did eat a bit over my calories--but when I am that hungry I know my body needs it, so I go with it. 4/3 IF starting back up on MondayβοΈ
HAPPY SATURDAY ALL--- keep up the inspiring work!πͺπ»β€οΈ0 -
This is something I'm experimenting with as I've had a few days over the last few months where I've ate way over my calories and then dropped a lot of weight right after, the last more than 5 lbs right after...
@Wildmage69 & @AB0215 One of the trainers at my gym was telling a group of us who are doing IF that a re-feed day boosts metabolism and will actually help you lose more fat. Since then (last December) I have eating higher calories (he said to go 300-500 calories above maintenance) on Fridays (and sometimes Saturdays too if I workout hard and lift heavy)--- and that's when I really saw some progress. Works!1 -

@SLIMn2016 That's sort of what my trainer said too, on my re-feed day to eat about 500 or so calories above maintenance and he wants to see how it works for me because he doesn't really have anyone else to experiment on lol...so...I'm the guinea pig....which in reality, I'm ok with, I was thinking of trying it anyway. He also knows that I'm really into nutrition and intermittent fasting, and so is he, so he's interested in seeing the results in person, not in theory, and so am I. I see a lot of body builders do it in competition prep.
I've in inadvertently done it twice before and have seen a big drop after, so I'm hoping that continues, my re-feed will be next Saturday.

This is me too, if I take complete rest, even when I'm sore, I end up more sore than if I had just done cardio or walking or something to keep me in motion.1 -

My goal weight for March is 130 lbs. so gotta keep pushing. I'm still in the overweight range for my height (127.4 lbs gets me to normal range) so I'm optimistic I will get there! My overall weight goal is 115 lbs.Hi All,
Itβs a sunny day today here in NYC. Awesome dedication all around to the Slimsons!
Would you like to know how much water weight one can gain when incorporating carbs back into a diet after keto? 6 lbs. I was 141.6 last Saturday. The last few days - even with staying at 1300 cals - I had salty carby food and the water piled back on. I guess one could say itβs my βtrue weightβ since keto takes out the excess water.
Iβm not as freaked out as I thought I would be. My goal is still 130 ish lbs. I guess that 125 while in keto. π
Iβm about 5β8-5β9 - but Iβm small boned- when I was in my early 20s, I naturally was a willowy 117. I figure with more lean muscle - 130ish is the sweet spot. I was 145 when I was fitted for my wedding dress .:) looked good - but I can be more svelte.
Back to the grind. I need to say adios to these protein bars and packaged foods π§ββοΈ

Goal- going to have to jump back in to super keto and exercise this week. Iβve been tired -so getting easy food - Iβm just going to have to figure out more time to meal prep. I was doing so good. Iβve been lazy. Iβm all over it this week to see some great loss next Saturday.
Have an awesome day! π»

Goals/comments So hust finish submitting an Assignment and I am going to try to submit 2 of my Required Submissions tomorrow my back is killing me but I gave in and took the Gabapentin pills.
Also took a little longer to finish my paper because I decided after reading some of you guys posts to have a family and discuss my own toxic situation and let my family know how I felt of course that was a 3 hour conversation but had to let them know some changes need to be made and I will not continue to tolerate thinfs as they were. It felt good and cleansing (I never cried so much in front of my family as I'm known as the strong one) and hopefully things change in the future. So I think everyone who talk about getting rid of your toxic relationships as its not easy but it must be done.
My baby sister left the group conversation so I guess I will have to distance myself from her and just love her from a distance. But I refuse to continue to eat my feelings and eventually eat myself to an early grave. I deserve to have a better life for myself so I am CLAIMING IT BY REMOVING ANY TOXICITY FROM MY LIFE THAT'S HINDERING ME FROM PROGRESSING!
sorry guys I know it's a lot but I have just been going through this week and I need to do what I need to do to keep myself positive and motivated to keep going forward not backwards.
Good night TOMORROW'S ANOTHER DAY

I am so sorry that you had to confront family tonight.... sometimes (even the most well-meaning) people whom we love can cause us unhealthy feelings/emotional turmoil/pain, etc. that doesn't mean we don't love them anymore--- but if you need some distance in order to fulfill your goals successfully, you must do it. You do deserve good health and happiness, absolutely. Sending you hugs! Stay strongπͺπ»π«β€οΈ1 -

I ate a sandwich. We ordered food for a lunch meeting at work, I was all excited to see they have none of my favorite cookies..... HOWEVER....
My favorite sandwich was apparently not popular eith everyone else. And it was staring at me. So I at it. At 4pm. Figured it would be an early dinner and I had fit it in my daily calories easily.
But then I got home and had soup (also fit in my cals). But then I had a biscuit with butter. NOT in my cals. Lol
I didnt go too far over, but definitely had a weak moment.....3
