    TODAY'S MOTIVATIONAL TIP: 80/20 RULE

    Ablurb from article:

Is Nutrition More Important Than Exercise? - Verywell Fit
"You've heard the phrase "you can't out-exercise a bad diet," and this is the bottom line when it comes to maintaining a healthy body. Nutrition and exercise are both important parts to losing fat and gaining strength. Nutritional habits will have a far greater impact on your body composition and physique goals than any other fitness component. When a combination of exercise and healthy nutrition are implemented is when successful body change happens.
A person can change their body composition through diet alone without exercise. However, it's the combination of both that provides a complete healthy package. Applying the 80 percent nutrition to 20 percent fitness rule is simply a statement of the importance of nutrition in the equation."

Whatever plan you decide to follow just make sure it's healthy and you're getting your nutrition. Faster is not always better in the end.

    Have a blessed day ❤

    Regards,
    Glorious Gloria

“100% mindset” - I feel like mindset is everything these days!!

    Hope you are feeling better!

@batgirl140, @AB0215 Thank you for the words of encouragement. I know I am hard on myself when it comes to losing this mommy weight that has been hanging around for the past 14 years. It was easy to lose with my first three children, but the loss of my fourth child and only boy hit hard and I have been packing on the pounds eating my sorrows away. As I let go and of what could have been and live for the future I know that this journey will take some time as I heal my body and my mind. I have held on to the past for far too long my training is my healing and saving grace. I need to stay healthy and fit for my mini me's and myself. It is time to travel and enjoy retirement. Well, that last sentence is my dream life, I am retired and was planning on traveling but I am now raising my grands so travel with have to wait for a while. LOL such is life just happy to be top side of the dirt. I have a house full of hormones, all girls (4) and one who lives on her own, five in total. This keeps me very busy and on my toes.

🗣Comments: Thank you for the comments on KNEES!🤗 Feeling better. My strength training instructor told me no more running--- she said it'll ruin my knees, so I'm taking her advice, since my knee pain did correspond with my inclined treadmill jogging.🤷🏻‍♀️

I wore my medical grade compression pants to strength training this morning---the minute I fought them on😝 I felt better--they are so supportive to my muscles and they help speed up recovery. If anyone is interested the brand I use are called 2XU. I bought mine online bc they were a lot cheaper.

Dinner: Grilled red snapper with asparagus 👌🏻😋

    🌸✨HAPPY THURSDAY ALL!!✨💖🌸
    Keep up the awesome work!!🙌😝💫

So after taking 3 doses of antibiotics I was finally able to eat my first meal in 2 days around 1130ish. Went a little over my usual with my new plan but considering having not eaten 2 days I still did good cause I'm still within range of what I'm supposed to be.

I did make the decision to wean myself off my medication since they are doing more harm than good as I haven't been dizzy in the past 2 days SINCE not taking my medication so all was not in vain.

TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY STAYING POSITIVE

Yes---this is something I am fighting with at this point and with intermittent fasting 5/2 and 4/3, I often am left wondering if I am cheating myself out of the most nutritious solution that's better in the long run on my regular calorie days.

    Great post---thanks Gloria!!

I was offered the same pain med when the discs in my back were herniated (gabapentin?) and I didn't take it bc I had to drive my sons around and they told me I could get very dizzy or groggy on it, so I may not be safe to drive😳.... it is so scary though the side effects. I do understand the severe pain though---and boy did I WANT to take that med. It is tough when you are in pain. I hope you are feeling better now!

Gabapentin is prescribed for so many things. It was originally prescribed to me for restless leg syndrome. Now I take it to help me sleep. So, it definitely does make you drowsy.

Once again no food with exception one applesauce. Had 3 Dr appts today with the last one being for this mass on my throat and he just said it's a viral infection and he cannot explain why I  keep getting it every year since I move in my  apartment but at least he cleaned my ears as well😅. So I googled and put 2x2 together and figured out the Gabapentin pills that I took for pain before I went to bed the night before has a side affect of viral infection. So got antibiotics and I'm hitting the hay hopefully the swelling will be down enough to eat tomorrow. Cause 2 days of not eating is horrible. 😥😥
My Pulmonologist just raise the bar a little higher for me; he said if I lose 150lbs by my surgery date than he agrees there is no reason to  go forward with the Baraitric surgery 👍🏾👌🏾since by my progress already soon I'll be  off the CPAP machine granted I stay on course in the next 4 months.👌🏾👌🏾👏🏾👏🏾

    Awesome

Don't fret. . .remember you had a couple of slow days due to your injury and swelling can cause water retention. It'll be better next week

Got things back under control! Still struggling with the exercise, just don’t wanna! 🙁 And I’m getting a little bored with my food. Need to find some new, exciting! Even bored with my choices for the whole family. I go through periods like this, just get tired of cooking. I’ll get over it just need to stick with the plan till then!!
