Ohhhh boy. That was one tough day. They said mild cramping. Haaaa. My a**. I went to bed last nite still in major pain. But thankfully, woke up this morning with very mild pain. I am so glad it is Friday. Has everyone made their weekend plan?
@sleepymom5 you are learning so much about yourself. this time is different. this time is the last time.
@Shirin_K that is fantastic. good job on that loss. and thanks for checking in. maybe instead of cake you do cupcakes. they are their own little serving size. easier to manage I think. but above all have fun.

@carlsoda time to make your weekend plan girl. you have been doing great all week. lets plan for success this weekend too! another half pound gone. that is good news. you keep working hard. and what you say about your food it true. I try to eat by if God made it, its good. I have been working on getting rid of most of the processed foods in my life. I would say I am 90 % pure and 10% processed. I think that is pretty darn good!!
@twyla77 yes I have done that with my fit bit and then the crazy thing that happens is I try not to step to much cause they are not being counted. lol
@nstephenson01 with your new found commitment that number will go down next week for sure. you keep working at this. I have been listening to a podcast called Thinner peach with Dr. deb. It talks alot about the changes we go thru in menopause and maybe it may help with you thinking around food. I know it is helping me.
@hkfleming maintains are good. you keep working on this and stay on track. have you made a food plan for the weekend yet? I find it really helps.
@ljdanny ohhh your ok. don't you give up. that is just a small gain. when you tell yourself it is to good to be true. you create your own reality. instead try telling yourself. this is part of my struggle. it is hard but I am tougher. I will not quit on myself. I can and I will lose this weight. have you tried listening to the podcasts we have all been talking about? maybe they may help you too.
@Mrsbell8well I am soooo glad that you mom is in her recovery stage. hopefully, she still wants to create a more healthy her for her retirement years. remind her of what she said and give her a piece of paper and let her start brainstorm what she will start to change. don't let her forget.

Wow! It is late! Slept in, weighed in...I am so close to a major milestone! I need to get myself moving. I had a lazy morning, dropped a car off at the shop and been spending time talking to MK. It has been nice but I need to eat and exercise! I also need to make my weekend plans. Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday!!
@Mrsbell8well It sounds like it was a perfect evening, just what you and Molly needed after the past week or more now that I think about it. I know you will be do great your time away in N. Carolina. You will be busy with work but the off time hopefully you can use to focus on yourself.

@amsandos It is amazing how much this is a learning process. I am learning so much about how this works, how much I am contributing without realizing it, things that work that aren't really hard for me...I am so glad that you are doing this while you are young. You have a lifetime of health ahead of you! Btw...boiled sweets? What is that?
@cyndiesstuff I am so glad that it is behind you and you are feeling better today. And I agree! I really think, for the first time, that this is it. I don't feel like I am on a diet or ever going to stop doing what I am doing. I really get that these are life changes that I actually like doing. I still just can't believe it has taken me so long in my life to understand all of this Lol! I don't think that I am going to have earth shattering weight loss but I do think I will get to my goal, slow and steady.
@nstephenson01 It is such a spring day here that it is hard to believe you still have so much snow! You must have been happy to get out there. You live in such a beautiful area of the country. I love getting a little sneak peek into all these different areas I have never been to.

Hey everyone, I'm alive. Sorry I haven't been posting but I've been busy and wrapped up in my own bullshi... the last couple of weekends even have been so busyyyy. Eating has been ok but I've been overindulging in sweets?!? I don't know why??? I hardly ever eat candy or cookies or whatever but the past week or two I've had the most annoying sweet tooth. My goal this week was to not eat any candy at work and I made it til Tuesday -_- .... oy
I've been busy after work every day this week and haven't been able to make it to the gym. I decided to sleep in W-F this week (the only days I can go in the morning).. I'm going to blame the time change. I am getting back on track.
This weekend I'm going to Chicago with my husband and my friend. I'm super excited because we're taking the train! Howeverrrr we have to be at the train station at like... 4:30 a.m. ughh. We should be doing lots of walking so that should help with the eating out and drinking and whatnot.. we're basically only going to be gone for 36 hours so it shouldn't be tooooo much of a step in the wrong direction. I plan on doing some journaling on the train, I'm ready to make some changes.
I'm in a show the first weekend in May and the one dance I'm in is SO FREAKING FAST. It's Last Dance by Donna Summers and we are pretty much all dying by the time we get done with it (makes me feel better I'm not the only one lol)... so I'm going to try to get some more cardio and hiit workouts in at the gym. I also still have like 7 more sessions with my personal trainer left so I'm going to try to schedule the rest of them when I meet with her on Thursday. I've just been scheduling the next one out and it's making it really easy to spread them out and whatnot. The workouts are great but consistency is key and that is something I'm not.

Thanks @cyndiesstuff we'll be careful. We're staying with my cousin so he knows the ropes out there. Also thanks for your words last week. I went back and reread them and you're totally right... I need to commit to the time this is going to take. Nothing is instant and nothing is permanent.1

@DananaNanas Nice loss! I was a little nervous you were going to disappear too. I actually think you might like those podcasts too. You don't haven all that weight to lose but she is a great motivator. I really wish I was closer so I could see your shows. I have no one out here who does that kind of stuff. You are going to do great and an added bonus is getting in shape while you are doing it. Guess you have no choice if you a dancer! Lol! Enjoy Chicago . I loved that city! It may be my favorite city in the US so far. I saw Hamilton there. Much easier to get into than NY Lol!1

I am in San Francisco now on the last few days of my girls trip. I consider this small gain a victory as there have been a few glasses of wine and desserts this week. To counter this, I dedicated time for daily exercise. A nice NSV is that I have been able to do several pain free exercise walks beyond my usual gentle walking. The sun in Arizona and now SF is doing me some good as well. We are currently at the home of a dear friend in the Berkeley hills and photo is attached! Not happy to leave the nice weather, but will be happy to see my family and get back to my routine!
Have missed a few days of everyone's posts and there are 85 to read! I will do that now and hope that everyone is doing well!

Hubby wants to have pizza tonight. I’m actually thrilled to finally have a night off from cooking but this girl can put away A LOT of pizza so I prelogged two slices and am going to make a big salad to go along. Fingers crossed I stick to 2 pieces. Barn is progressing along but slowly. Mentally preparing myself for another week of FIL being here. Picture if you will a one bedroom, one bath home with a Murphy bed in the living room for “overnight” guests. Yep… not much privacy. But I'm so thankful he can help so much with the barn project!!
OK @amsandos I’m curious… what the heck are boiled sweets? LOL
Awe @cyndiesstuff I’m glad your pain is less today. Hope you are able to take it easy and get some rest this weekend. Don’t overdo it.
@sleepymom5 Great loss. You’re doing so well and staying consistent. I’m so proud of you!! Yes, we still have so much snow.. much more than normal, but its warming nicely and it will melt soon. I’m so ready for spring!

@Danananas Yay you’re back. I missed you! Nice loss. Have fun in Chicago. I spent two nights there. On two separate flights a certain crappy airline stranded me in Chi-town overnight. Was not a happy camper either time although the second time they actually paid for the hotel room. I don’t use that airline or fly through Chicago anymore. LOL

Turns out i didn’t forget to put my fitbit on the other morning - turns out it must have fallen off due to a broken strap! i found it on my living room floor after work, thought ‘that’s odd?!’ and when i tried to put it on discovered the broken strap.
i reported it to Fitbit and they had me send pictures and will be sending a replacement strap at no charge! i’m hoping it arrives before i leave for Las Vegas!2 -
