Exercise: Yes! I graduated from private lessons with my karate instructor to the normal class this week! I attended 4 times, hour long sessions each. It’s a heck of a workout, especially for someone so out of shape like me. My instructor is allowing me to test for my next belt on Monday! Yikes! 😀
Goals/Comments: I’m hoping to not blow it this weekend, and waste the hard work I put in exercising this week. I brought home pizza tonight, but only a salad for me. If you knew how much I love pizza, you would know I’m in agony! 😆
@Wildmage69 There are not words to describe how much I love pizza, and I quit it for a long time (since keto doesn't leave any room for pizza crust) and then I figured out that I can make it---something to think about, sometimes you don't have to give it up completely, you just have to find a creative way to make it...either way, great job sticking to your goals in the face of pizza...that is a victory!1 -

I’m going on the wrong direction.
I expected this. Have been struggling this past month. But seeing all of you with your successes and even with your weaknesses has really helped. I am not the only one who struggles. We may be at different points on our journeys but we are in this together. So thank you to everyone for helping me to finally be able to refocus. I’m ready !!!!! Bring on the rest of April.

I’m going on the wrong direction.
I expected this. Have been struggling this past month. But seeing all of you with your successes and even with your weaknesses has really helped. I am not the only one who struggles. We may be at different points on our journeys but we are in this together. So thank you to everyone for helping me to finally be able to refocus. I’m ready !!!!! Bring on the rest of April.
@vicky2767 I’ve been there! I was going strong in August- November and then I lost steam through the new year and started back peddling myself- now I’ve renewed my goals and commitment.
For me it was all mental. Whatever is mentally stopping you- banish it! For me I was just totally stressed out and working a lot and didn’t have extra bandwidth for commiting. The journey is different for everyone- but you can reset anytime!
I’m personally working not to fall off the wagon either. Tomorrow is a new day! Next weigh in is going to be great!!

Wow congrats I know you feel proud of yourself and that's probably why you resisted the temptation of eating that pizza. Yes, I can imagine the agony as I love pizza myself.
One of my future goals is when I get to 100lbs weight loss I'll treat myself to a slice but at a restaurant not bringing it in my house. This is the advice given to me by my nutritionist: "any food that you really crave should be eaten at the restaurant that way you're not tempted to get more such as ice ream, cake and pasta" best advice.
Great advice! Ice cream is my other issue too. But I’ve been getting yogurt or low cal bars that have been scratching that itch for me.1 -

It was a pretty bad day. I hit a real slump and spent 90% of the day on my couch eating takeout food and crying. BUT unlike the past, I’m not going to let this bad day define me and stop me from carrying on altogether.
In the words of Sixx AM: “We all know that accidents can happen and it’s alright, we all fall off the wagon sometimes. It’s not your whole life, it’s only one day, you haven’t thrown everything away.”
