I've had a stellar week! I'm so happy that I've got a nice groove going. I know next week will be trickier because my partner is home (he works week on/week off), but I'm sure it'll still be good.
I'm LOVING this bootcamp. The exercises make me feel so strong and badass! 🔥😎🔥3 -

My boyfriend and I went out for Chinese food and as i was looking through the menu I noticed everything had sauce on it. I need your Help! We love Chinese food but what items do you recommend? How can we still it eat it but minimize the macros? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Most Chinese meus have a diet section that you can chose from but I would just be mindful of the sauce.
When I go out to eat I always bring my own calorie free condiments which is a basically herbs and spices mixed in a baggy tharmt I can season my veggies and sometimes even meat with so I can still enjoy the experience without feeling guilty.
Hope this helps.1 -

Exercise: Yes. Squats, abs, 20 mins upper body. 25 mins cardio including jogging in place, punches, kicks and kettle bell.
NSV1: I noticed the other day that I’m able to jog up the 15 steps to my second floor now! At 240 lbs I was pulling myself up with the banister, heart pounding by the time I got up there.
NSV2: I’ve moved 4 holes on my belt! 😁
Wow way to go I love this! I know you're feeling proud to see all your work pay off1 -
Hi all. This week has been long, today especially. I came super close to saying screw it and picking up a giant bag of Cheetos for myself. Proud that I didn’t. Gonna make a dumpling soup for dinner and call it a night. I’m on vacation starting Wednesday next week and I can’t wait!
I'm so glad you resisted those cheetos. That shows you have the strength to rock this journey out. You got this girl and I'm ROOTING for your success. Hope you enjoy your soup.0 -

Not thrilled. Feel like I’ve been in the 210s forever! Bad snack choices this week. I’ve missed breakfast most days, eating more later in the day then. And the ever dreaded exercise is lacking. Need to find that one thing! Water has been a little less than it should as well. It’s a loss I’ll take it but plan to be good this weekend and do better next week!
That's the spirit stay positive and keep making some changes but celebrate the pound you loss because you're still trying and not giving up! 👍🏾👏🏾1 -
Daily post for Friday
Track: yes
Calories: yes under
Exercise: stairs at work and 270 squats
Water: 160 oz and counting
So tempted at various points in the day to say screw it, and just eat what I want. But I didn't.
I pre-planned most of my weekend meals and bought the food for it after work today.
I am glad I didn't indulge.
I'm glad you resisted as well. Sometimes it will be easy and other times it'll be hard we just need to stay focus on our journey.1 -

Exercise: Yes! I graduated from private lessons with my karate instructor to the normal class this week! I attended 4 times, hour long sessions each. It’s a heck of a workout, especially for someone so out of shape like me. My instructor is allowing me to test for my next belt on Monday! Yikes! 😀
Goals/Comments: I’m hoping to not blow it this weekend, and waste the hard work I put in exercising this week. I brought home pizza tonight, but only a salad for me. If you knew how much I love pizza, you would know I’m in agony! 😆
Wow congrats I know you feel proud of yourself and that's probably why you resisted the temptation of eating that pizza. Yes, I can imagine the agony as I love pizza myself.
One of my future goals is when I get to 100lbs weight loss I'll treat myself to a slice but at a restaurant not bringing it in my house. This is the advice given to me by my nutritionist: "any food that you really crave should be eaten at the restaurant that way you're not tempted to get more such as ice ream, cake and pasta" best advice.1 -

So today I my Pain management and Physical therapy appt in Brooklyn, for those who are not NYers that's almost 2 hours from the bronx depending on traffic. So this time I told my aide to my 3 servings of my usual cucumber, carrots and celery snack but add 2 boil eggs for the lunch portion and dinner portion. Sonce by the time we get back I knew I would not be able to eat since it'll be after 530pm.
The pain dr gave me 9 trigger point injections in my back way more than I use to get plus one of my pain meds were waiting for me when I got home yay! But I enjoyed my PT sessions today with the the heating pad and the back massage especially cause I did way more than the first session and it's a proud thing when your PT sees the improvement. I still have a long way to go but I'm making huge steps in my progress.
NSV: So 2nd time a made my own breakfast Happy to report I'm getting better slowly as today I boil eggs for the first time in a year without burning them. . .lol😃😃

Comments: This week has been a struggle for me, fasted 36 hours through Tuesday after a Monday feast, Wednesday was a good day, then Thursday's migraine hit and I spent the day getting that under control, which was great because I had weight lifting to do, and today was finally a good day. Hoping that the scale reflects the work it's been to get myself back on track. Tomorrow I will be going with some friends to do a "Tree top adventure" and I'm pretty excited to go climbing. A year ago, I would never have said yes to this, so I'm finally feeling athletic enough to go rope climbing! Should be fun and the weather is going to be amazing!
Wow that's sound so awesome to do things you never could before. So proud of you snd thanks for being such an inspiration to us knowing if we're persistent we can get there just like you. I am constantly encouraged reading your posts and owe my own recent persistent and determination greatly to you. Thanks again! Enjoy your TREETOP adventure! 👌🏾👏🏾👍🏾😃😃0 -

Exercise: I was so tempted to call it a rest day. I was behind on my step count for the day, however I was not willing to give up my 12 days in a row of making my steps. I am so happy I got on the treadmill and did 23 mins walking and 20 mins jogging. I was able to keep my streak alive! At least for another day! Have a great weekend EVERYONE!5 -

@gjaholy33 I haven't been feeling impressive this week, it's been a real struggle. Thank you for reminding me that I have come a long way.
Another trainer at the gym told me yesterday that I have been killing it, and I think sometimes you just can't see it for yourself, so thank you again Gloria, I think I just needed a reminder2
