I posted earlier that I was going to a buffet, and was worried that I would buckle and fold. I was hoping that I would not indulge in tons of carbs and sweets. I am very glad to report that I had all the will power I needed to refrain from going off the deep end. I had no carbs. I did eat what they are calling dirty keto. Dirty Keto is better than a carb binge. This outing was a success. (pats self on back)

@Fitness327wk Awesome pics!! Thanks so much for sharing.

@Navydaddjtc You are right about that self control, I practiced it today. I practice it everyday at home. I have a 19 and 8 yr old at home, so the snacks are almost endless it seems. I just look at them and think nahh, it's not really worth it!
I hope to see pics of the new plants in the ground. You tell me what you need help sticking to and I will ride your *kitten* until you comply with the orders!!

@suadvani AND @camhollymum22 AND @mrshadsall Welcome to the team!!

In the interest of this week’s challenge I have a topic/question. In a different group that I’m in a member brought up how disappointed they were over their stress eating. A few members piped up, including myself, that we too are stress eaters. I realized though that other than keeping binge foods out of the house I had very little to offer as a potential solution or alternative. So here goes, for those that do or have stress ate what do you do instead, alternatively what hasn’t worked for you?

@Navydaddjtc I'm in on the Game On Challenge
@ConfidentRaven I have been trying for so long to not binge eat. I was never successful no matter what I did. I have found that being on the Keto diet has helped me so much. I have only been on this for 7 days now. It is the longest I have stayed in control of my diet in a long time. I have not eaten anything outside of my allowed foods, except 2 spoonfuls of natural peanut butter. So for me the Keto diet when used as a tool can really help with the binge eating.

The BIG change in my life - learnt just a few days ago that I'm PREGNANT! I'm over the moon! We've been TTC, to give my 4yo a chance at having a sibling, for sometime now. When I turned 40 in Jan this year I wondered if I should give up on that dream. And now this!

I'm waiting for the first sonogram in a few days, which will tell me that everything looks okay. But that will probably mean I can't do this challenge now since my weight chart will be on an upward trend, albeit at a sensible rate. Fingers crossed!

BTW, you guys are literally the first to know!!

BIG BABY CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is super news and a great reason to leave the group :)

    WI Day: Sunday
    June Week Four

    First the good news/steps:

    June 21- 11,575
    June 22 - 12,677
    June 23 - 13,509

Days that I thought I wouldn't get to my 10,000, I did! When the hotel told me my room was at the end of the hall (and the resort is big) I took it! Walking that an extra few times got me there.

Today, is a different story. I went to a late gym class yesterday (4:00pm) and my body was in no mood to get up and go to a 6:00 a.m class--it never is, but today I agreed with it! I decided randomly to work from home and it's 1:00 pm and I only have 1,199 steps!! Think I might be circling the neighborhood tonight after I get home from a work reception.....

    Oh yeah--the bad news:

    PW: 168
    CW: 169

Today started off with a beautiful sunrise hike! 🌄 🌅 Followed up with an hour long Barre class. I really enjoy the Barre classes I take at my studio, challenging and rewarding!
