    Tuesday 7/23

    Goals:
    1 - 11,000 steps per day - Yes 13,970
    2 - No Late Night Snacking 5 out 7 days - 2/5 Yes!!!!! Almost went for some snacks but talked myself out of it.
    3 - Exercise 5 days 2/5 Yes!!!!! Morning walk and went to the gym.

    3. NO I ate past 8pm :( I golfed in the evening and then had a drink/snack after and didn't even think about the time. Then when I got home I knew I already blew it so I had another snack BUT I think I was still under calories for the day so it's all good. Just didn't meet my goal.

    I feel like such a failure this past week. I've let myself be so distracted from any kind of healthy lifestyle. I've been eating chips and dip for dinner and drinking soda by the gallon. I don't know why I let things in my life dictate how I am going to eat or if I sustain a healthy lifestyle or not. I don't know why I can't stay on track and just lose the weight already. Grr.. it's so easy to put the weight on, but so hard to take it off.
    On a positive note: I did not give in to the huge temptation to smoke a cigarette!! I guess one can always find a positive in any situation. :)

    Understand! Some weeks are much easier than others! What a process... πŸ™ŒπŸ‘

    Had a couple absolutely brutal days for eating. I’m struggling with my oldest at the moment and when I’m frustrated, I am constantly eating.

    Tomorrow we are meeting friends to visit a small zoo not too far away. Hopefully it’s enough of a break in the routine to get everyone out of the funk and back in a good frame of mind.

    Goals: YES to all!
    1. Stretched/foam rolled - almost forgot but got it in at 8:30pm!
    2. Tracked everything
    3. Didn't eat after 8pm. Almost forgot this too but happened to look at the time right at 7:59 and stopped eating. I think this will be easier when it's not still light out at 8:00!

    SORE FROM CUTTIN WOOD YESTERDAY...
    REST DAY AND SOCIAL WORKER APPT. STILL MOURNING THE DEATH OF MY MOM AND THIS FOOD ADDICTION THING
    YOU KNOW GANG I KICKED BOOZE AND DRUG ADDICTIONS AND SMOKING CIGARETTES WHY CAN'T I KICK THIS FOOD ADDICTION STUFF... MAYBE I NEED TO EMPLOY SOME OF THE STRATEGIES THEY TAUGHT IN REHAB AND PUT THEM INTO PLACE AND JUST REPLACE THE BOOZE AND DRUGS WITH FOOD... MIGHT BE THE CONVERSATION I HAVE TODAY WITH THE SW FOR SURE

    I DUG OUT MY WEIGHTED VEST AND AM GOING FOR A MORNING WALK WITH IT ON... I WILL START WITH THE WALKS.... THEN MOVE FORWARD WITH IT TO MORE WORK OUTS .... WORKOUT COMPUTER CAME HOME YESTERDAY SO NOW I CAN GET BACK TO TAEBO WITH BILLY BANKS AND WALK AT HOME WITH LESLIE SANSONE.
    OHHH ANDI FOUND SOME RICHARD SIMMONS VHS TAPE IN THE BOTTOM DRAWER OF THE WORK OUT CHEST OF DRAWERS I MIGHT EVEN GIVE THOSE AGO...

    SO I WOULD LIKE ALL OF YOU TO HAVE CALM WINDS AND FOLLOWING SEAS TODAY... ENJOY YOUR FAMILY TIME...YOUR W/O TIME...YOUR RECREATION TIME AND MOST OF ALL ENJOY ALL YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED, IT'S NO EASY FEAT LOSING WEIGHT AND FIGHTING THE PHAT MONSTER, BUT WE'VE ALL DONE IT AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO...
