Sorry to interject (dumb euro here), but what is a "woosh"? Googling this is giving me pretty random stuff. I understand the context implies sth like a sudden weight loss?

And some of us ( me me me ) never seem to experience a Whoosh without some or all of it coming back the next day!….

Hanging steady at 205.6 today. No surprise after yesterday's lunch out. I can tell I'm retaining water again by how my rings fit. Thus concludes this month's scale cycle. It'll likely be way up when I get back again - I plan at eating around maintenance on the trip, plus will be flying out and back. Oh well.

204.4?????? That...wasn't the direction I was expecting, but I'll take it!

Ate a bit too much yesterday and scale came up to 206. Good lord. That’s a big jump from one day of crappy eating. Lol. Back at it today.

    Height: 166cm - 5'5''
    SW: 177.8 kg - 392 lb - 64,5 ΒΜΙ (May 2020)

    LW: 104.8 kg - 231.0 lb - 38,0 ΒΜΙ
    CW: 103.1 kg - 227.3 lb - 37,4 ΒΜΙ
    Variance: -1.7 kg / -3.7 lb / -1.62% TBW

    OL: 74.7 kg - 164.7 lb - 27.1 BMI in 463 days

    Weight class projections:

    Official weigh day: Saturday

    Height: 1.55m
    Age: 56

    Start Weight (17th March 2021): 96.0kg - BMI 40.0 (obese cat 3)
    Last week: 81.2kg - BMI 33.8 (obese cat 1)
    This week: 80.2kg - BMI 33.4 (obese cat 1)

15.8kg lost, 23.6kg to go (40.1% towards goal)

Big loss this week (by my standards) so some of that may be water loss (went on a 16 mile bike ride last night and sweated lots as it was pretty hot and humid); so it's possible I'll bounce back up a bit tomorrow or it might even itself out over the next week, and I may not lose next week. A bit of mystery keeps things exciting!

    SW: 256 (June 2019)
    LW: 193 (September 2020)
    5/6: 211.6
    6/12: 204.5
    7/3: 203.4 (most recent low)

    The monthly drop begins again!
    7/28: 202.8

Progress feels slow, but then I remind myself that I've had two ten-day vacations in the last two months, and that makes me feel a bit better. Even with the vacations (where I'm not really tracking), I'm still losing, just more slowly than planned. And all things considered, that is pretty good!

back to officially weighing in today, and am grumbling a bit at seeing 259 back on the scale. I had seen a low of 257 earlier this week, but water weight.....

Of course, last week, I saw 270 right after vacation and while PMSing, so its nice to know I've dropped a significant amount of water weight already and am back into the 250's, but I need to really work at it this week to get to a more comfortable low and make sure I stay squarely in the 250's. Then start working at getting back to my all time low of 220 :(

Meanwhile, the hubby is making great strides, and I'm very happy for him and proud of him! I just have to sternly tell myself to not compare and judge myself based on his progress. He's just starting out at a higher weight than I did, he's male, and he's taller than I am, all which mean he's going to drop weight much faster at this stage than I am. He has 100 more lbs to lose at this point than I do, so its going to come off faster for him at this stage than for me. Plus, he can comfortably afford to lose 3-4 lbs a week at this stage while I need to be holding myself to 1.5 lbs/wk. So brain, quit looking for an excuse to condemn yourself!

I regained about 20 over the winter this year, and am still working on dropping it. It was just maddening to have to lose the same pounds all over again. I'm down about 10 now, and finally am not so frustrated when I step back on the scale. You'll definitely get back down - stay patient, and don't let it get to you. Don't compare to your husband, and don't compare to where you were before. You've got this!
