Have a great long weekend, ABD. Try not to stress about the scale too much - restaurant food tends to be pretty salty = water gain. And this is a life long journey. So play and nourish yourself!

I agree PAV - but it is kinda like gravy (the zero calorie kind) when people who haven't seen you in awhile see you and go "WOW" :)

Hi all! I'm here to bomb this thread, too! Soo many numbers to share with you all. I was at my all time heaviest in Nov. of 2018 @ 321lbs-- --Gulp-- I screamed and cried and for a week went into a deep depression. Then I got a call from my little sister, "I'm engaged. We're getting married at the end of February of 2019."(her and "the man of her dreams") She continues, "Will you be in the wedding?" Me: "Of course!"--- Later I think I can't weight 300+lbs at this wedding! Got to work! Cried often. Worked some more. Day of wedding 291 lbs! Success #1! Fast forward March 2020 weight 286lbs. and lock downs. Must loose more weight! If I get sick I could die. I have a genetic heart condition and I'm morbidly obese! I got to 265lbs by August of 2020. Regain started in November of 2020. Fast forward again May 15, 2021---Found MFP-- Life changing! Starting weight 279.2lbs. Found this group and another a monthish later...? Started true weight with Libra and figured out my Tdee. (I can eat food and loose weight! I don't have to starve myself!) I'll share more numbers in a new post to stop this really long post.

The main culprit has to be my favorite food, Magiritsa. Since I only get to eat this once per year...this year I went a little overboard. No regrets whatsoever, but when you add the rest of the stuff this week it is a miracle that I'm not up another 2 kilos lol.

Now, lets get this sodium off, Onwards!

Absolutely perfect.... the kind that results in -10 to -12 lbs in a year. Which was my second year on MFP.

Room to experiment, indulge a bit but not too much. Shave a couple unless you're so low you don't want. Ability to either do extra or not sometimes. Time. Time not regaining is the Golden fleece. Time to figure out how many scones and pizzas and MIL issues and the penalty is not continuing down as fast, or maintaining, which was the goal.

    I like your curves 😹🤣😘😎

@Dante_80 I'm not sure if we ought to blame either the magiritsa or Connie's margaritas... a couple of the keftedakia in your picture and a lamb or two would take care of things nicely! 🤣😘

@Bella_Figura maybe I'll start making sense once I've had more coffee! Or not! You know what the graph says. I don't know that I would change much of anything though. Soft landings are hard to implement but wonderful to behold. And you've got post COVID re-openings to deal with, MIL, stress 🐹... I would personally just keep on going and exploring the limits

    Really love Margaritas too!

PAV, I mean the rest of the stuff surely didn't help, but I wager I might have got more than 10k mg sodium in the span of a day or so from the lovely soup.

Twas totally worth it though, this thing is really delicious.

The mutt union thanks you and expects improved working conditions to come!

Remember when walking the mutt... you keep going WITHOUT sniffing all the bushes.

Doing circles around the sniffing mutt generates a delightful expression on their face!

If your weight trend (or several scale spans to ensure you're not counting outliers), but if the trend shows 1.7 per week, your effective deficit is about 850 Cal a day

Add 850 to what you've eaten and you will find your apparent actual tdee

Activity levels are just labels for a physical activity multiplier with which the site multiples your Mifflin BMR to estimate your NEAT (add actual net exercise to get TDEE).

TDEE does the same but includes the exercise estimate.

    They are a first approximation.

Your own consistently collected data will be more reflective of your actual current reality.
