    Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes.(1 hour )
    Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? No , I ate all my carbs at breakfast ,was very hard to keep accountability while attending a farewell party in the office.
    Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Not all .

    I'm sorry , to bring bad comments , but my weakness is counting the macros.
    I see you are doing great , hopefully I can learn from you .

    Did I track everything I ate? Yes.
    Was I under budget? Not in the green, but still ate at a deficit.

    I have a question about "extra calories from exercise". What do I do with them? Do I eat them? Do I eat some of them? Do I collect them until I have enough for a giant stuffed unicorn?

    I set my calories and try to stick to it. I either succeed or fail (spectacularly). Are those "extra calories from exercise" just sitting there, scowling at me?

    @shewhoismany, people vary on this. I never eat them all, because I don't know how accurate they are, but I do slide into some of them sometimes. You may want to try it a week or two and see what results you get. Silly girl, giant stuffed unicorns don't have calories!! :smirk:

    I got distracted from food by keeping me busy

    Exercise? Yes. 3 mile walk with the dog, 40 minutes strength boot camp with app Aaptiv, and 60 minutes Buti yoga

    New goal to lose 12 lbs. by October 31! I also just got to where I can touch my toes!

    Did I exercise 20 minutes? Yes. After climbing around a 120F attic and scuttling around in a spider-ridden crawlspace, the 93F outside made for a pleasant walk.

    Something Positive about myself: The extra walking is starting to pay off, seeing some muscle definition in my legs... now I need to start lifting weights or something to firm up the "Granny" arms.

    Does anyone have any suggestions for firming up flabby arms?

    Just assigned to team today so I've missed the last few days of intros and postings.

    This looks like a fun group and hoping your enthusiasm will help motivate me to get onboard and stay onboard. Down about 15 lbs. from the first of the year but find myself lacking motivation these days and can feel the lbs. creeping back on and still have quite a ways to go.

    So for yesterday...

    Track everything? Yes
    Stay in calorie budget? Yes
