    Today's goals:
Walk after work (already made plans with a friend)
Finish the laundry that I didn't do yesterday (rolling eyes at self)
Depending on time, cook curry or prep the ingredients to make it more quickly tomorrow.

We went to Red Lobster but they were not serving inside...neither was Longhorn,Outback or Sonny’s lol...we ended up at Olive Garden and had a lovely quiet and unhurried lunch...only about a dozen eating inside...we brought home six $5 dollar dinners for the kids....I had Shrimp Scampi at 510 calories and a much needed glass of wine!...1/2 bread stick and salad with light dressing...it was so nice to eat dinner out of the house!...I stayed under my calories for the day...win win!

@tinkerbellang83 Your cleaning entry tickled my funny bone this morning. regional dialects are funny things. What you call Hoovering, I grew up called Vacuuming and my best friend grew up called Sweeping. Now in your case, its quite clear what you mean, but in her case, it was always confusing when she was my roommate because I could never quite know whether she was meaning to use the vacuum cleaner or a broom!

Logged foods/drinks on Sunday but didn't post. Weekend had lovely weather and spent much of it outside. Last three days have been an epic ongoing kerfluffle. Managed to log food but that's about the only thing that went right. Need to catch up on posts in the threads I follow. And, hopefully, get my day's back on track with my normal, pretty boring, routine. <yawn>

    Have a great day Y'all!! :)

I have almost no goals today except getting through it. I have an abscess in my mouth and am feeling a little feverish and blah. However, it doesn't hurt much, so that's good, and I'm going to sleep a lot and eat soft foods and just get through it til Friday morning.

I've been know to call it both hoovering and vacuuming but hoover was a pretty prevalent brand here when I was growing up, I guess it's stuck with me.

My husband “electroluxed” while I was at Publix lol...when I got home, I mopped the floors and put down new rugs in the kitchen...actually mopped three times because our puppy/dog kept attacking the mop!...I folded clothes and unloaded the dishwasher...fixed lunch...thinking what to make for dinner,,,I bought the cutest little Lee Drummond enamel coated casserole dishes and I want to use them!...since we moved two years ago from 4000 sq ft to 2400 cleaning is certainly easier!...I really should dust...John asked me if I got seeds at Publix to plant on the TV stand lol

Got my mouth worked on and I can eat again without pain! Also found an excellent dentist who believes in numbing patients thoroughly and explaining what he's doing. I'm going to be spending just under two thousand to get things fixed, and that does not count the tooth implant, but Boyfriend and I agree it's worth it.

Am still dealing with the malaise of the gum infection but will probably feel better tomorrow.

    Today:
Feed my people dinner, and eat a sensible portion myself.
Set up clothing and tea and coffee for tomorrow
    Take medication on time
Wash hair (It's down to my hips, and that takes planning)
Figure out what I'm giving Boyfriend's Mom and Dad for meals next week.

TODAY IS A "ME" DAY ... first one I've taken in at least 2 months. No work, no cleaning, Nada ..,. just doing whatever I choose to do and to have a day devoted to just fun stuff. Can't go to a restaurant to eat but plan to order takeout ... maybe Olive Garden!

    HAVE A GREAT DAY Y'ALL!! :)

    Monday's Goals:
Clean the office before he gets in it for the day.
Clean sitting and dining areas downstairs.
    Clean the downstairs half-bath.
Clean the laundry area and hall.
Tidy the garage and pathways to overflow pantry area and freezer. (I have a lot of packed moving boxes out there, so it's a visual mess.)
Clean the kitchen, including Under and Behind everything, and sweep and steam-mop the hard flooring.

    Make lunch: Chicken jalapeno quesadillas.
Make dinner: Beef Marsala, pasta, pan-seared asparagus, and garlic bread.
    Do the dishes
    Set up things for tomorrow.

Took a ME weekend. Had intended to only do on Saturday. But, it felt so good not to do the "normal" chores, logging, computer stuff, that I extended it thru Sunday. Nice break! However, need to get back to business today. Thought I might have a gain today. So far, I've lucked out ... stayed the same as Friday. My Olive Garden dinner was Marvelous!! Split one cheesecake with Granddaughter ... Yum! Pushed my calorie limit right to the edge but managed to stay just under. Same on Sunday. Today, it's back to meal planning, drinking water, etc. Still need to mop kitchen and bathroom; that's my number 1 chore today.

    HAVE A GREAT DAY Y'ALL!! :)

@cesse47 : I may not get a choice. It's TOM (again?!?) and I may not be able to get everything done I have planned. But with chronic pain, I'm used to that.

The house we thought we had didn't work out, so I'm going to look at two other houses today and see if they would suit us.

That's in the afternoon. In the morning, I need to deal with last night's kitchen mess, because I was cramping too much to handle it yesterday, and do some cleaning and putting things right upstairs. I'm not in great shape today, and not looking forward to upstairs and downstairs and back and forth to look at houses with this sort of thing going on, but given that our house will sell fast, we need somewhere to go.

Have a small gain today ... from my indulgent ME weekend and no exercise no doubt. That's ok ... I needed the break and will just buckle down this week to get it back off. Vacuumed the whole main floor yesterday so did not get to the mopping ... so that's my chore for today.

    HAVE A GREAT DAY Y'ALL!! :)

@AlexandraFindsHerself1971 Looks like you have a very busy day planned. Be sure to take a few moments for yourself.

Olio is an app for sharing unwanted food/non-food items for free to cut down on waste. (https://olioex.com/ I believe it's available in a lot of countries)

Basically you list stuff and people request it then you can arrange collection or delivery. I just do my own personal stuff but there are also "Food Waste Heroes" who collect stuff from Supermarkets/Restaurants/etc and distribute it.

You can share stuff that's past it's Best Before date or that's been opened, that wouldn't be accepted by the likes of Food Banks, so it cuts down on a lot of wastage.

I don't mind doing the laundry, my most hated chores are sorting the dishes out and taking the rubbish out, but I've tasked the other half with the rubbish, as I do most of the other stuff (my choice, it causes me more stress than not, cos of my OCD to have him do other housework lol)

Bathroom, hallway, and kitchen floors mopped yesterday. Today I start work on the dining room ... lots to do!! First cut of local asparagus is in so may go to Farmer's Market later today. They also have fresh caught fish from the Great Lakes so am thinking of picking up a Lake Trout as well.
