I have a dentist's appointment soon.
Apart from that, I want to break down the desk in the electronics room and wrap it in a bundle with pallet wrap so that it can be moved, and I want to make dinner.
Given that I don't know how many teeth are involved in the current riot, and that I don't know how I'll feel when I get home, all this is rather tentative. We'll see.2 -
I'm really hoping I can get the rest of the lawn mowing done that I didn't get finished on Saturday due to the torrential thunderstorm that came through. I also need to get my new cherry tree into the ground and get my parsnips into the ground.
I also want to get that darned air conditioner installed!
I need to vacuum the cat hair and cat litter tracked mess up, but that will have to be tomorrow.1 -
No pool today and house is clean....I need to fold a load of clothes and fix dinner tonight....I could ride the bike at the gym because it finally reopened this week...I haven’t been sleeping well all week so I could take a nap later....so many decisions to make!0

Had a much busier work day than planned, so achieved little in the way of cleaning. So basically just a repeat of above today.1 -
didn't get the rest of the lawn mowing done yesterday, but it's not super pressing. I did get the rest of my planting done except for some marigolds and herbs, and got everything watered, and got that air conditioner installed!
I vacuumed the house this morning (the cat's cat litter mess was driving me crazy!) and I need to mop, too, because they've made a mess. Otherwise, my only other goal for today is get my dishes washed up - it's church night, so my evening is booked.1 -
Today is half done and I am at work. Tonight I want to eat healthy salmon that is leftover from 2 days ago. I want to make a vegetable to eat with it. I would like to walk tonight too. I have errands to do after work so hopefully I’ll get the walk in before I get too tired. Have a great evening!1
-
let see:
I promised my sister we'd go look at a couple of campgrounds today that we are considering for the family vacation in August and that will take a couple of hours - the first one is probably 1 1/2 to 2 hours from where we live, and it will be around another hour to get to the other one. She also wants to go shopping. I told her we'd leave by 10 AM, and I figure we won't be home until close to 6 pm.
I'm going to strive for that 6 pm, however, because my grass needs mowed again and its going to rain on Monday so its really needs done today if at all possible (my Sundays are booked due to church so Sundays aren't an option).1 -
Well, the weekend is here!
I need to sit down and figure out all that I need to do to get the house spiffed up between now and Thursday; we've been packing a lot and this last week has been TOM, so I've been letting things slide. I am glad now I didn't take the cat cage down! We'll have to cage them so they aren't in the way for the walkthrough.
We close on selling our current house on the 18th, and on the new house on the 26th.2 -
didn't get the grass mowed, but the weather forecast has changed for Monday so hopefully I'll get it in then.1

I got through a second trip to the dentist and the soreness has gone down enough for me to eat, which is good. Just a little soreness in the roof of my mouth where I was injected. Going to clean up the kitchen and wind down for the evening, and set things up so that tomorrow starts well.2

Goal for today and tomorrow. Clean up kitchen after I cook.
Stay motivated by 1.2 lbs. weight loss success this past week so that I can build on it and have a good week one day at a time.
Plan tomorrow’s meals so I support my healthy weight loss journey.
Go to bed tonight in the next half hour.
Good night!1 -

Did a lot of walking, not so much cleaning and organising, in the office today, so pretty much be same story, aiming for my usual steps, yoga, nutrition, wellbeing & laundry goal.2 -
Today I’m staying within my calorie goal so far and I want to make cucumber tomato salad yet. I feel like the only way I will get through tonight is by having a coach. I’m hanging in there. I want to do some dishes. I want to relax. I will start to look for a certificate I achieved that I need that is in my apartment. I will be up late tonight.2

Today's Goals
.: 5000 Steps

Make and freeze a full batch of beef and bean enchiladas, ready to bake.
Make and freeze two half-size quichecakes, ham and broccoli & sausage and spinach.
Make and freeze a batch of chocolate chip cookies.
Sort the contents of the small freezer and take the things that are not being used in the next two weeks out to the garage freezer. Get the things that will be used in the next two weeks and put them in the small freezer.
Begin to pack the cooking tools that will not be used in the next two weeks.1 -

@rhaiin Do you have a Wendy's nearby? You can customize all sorts of things on their menu to get the calories down. A small chili with crackers is less than 200 calories, and you can customize a half size or even a full size salad down to less than 300 calories, especially choosing a vinaigrette dressing - Wendy's has been a life saver for me when I find myself in that boat2 -

If I need to eat out, I can eat at Five Guys if I get a small hamburger and no fries, and I can eat for about 350 or so at Steak n Shake with a single hamburger and either french fries or a side of onion rings. Same meal is about 100 cal more at Jack In The Box, but the onion rings are better too. (grin)
I really can't eat salads due to the IBS, so I tend to default to sandwiches a lot.

My goal today was to have a rest day from swimming but I ended up at the pool again!2
-
My goals today:
1) Eat 1 bowl of cereal for breakfast instead of 2. ( And stick to this) I don't need the 2nd bowl because I am not physically hungry anymore after one. (The second is a unnecessary craving.)
2) Clean house. (Not put it off out of lazyness.)
3. Stick to portion control today.
4. Take it one day at a time. (Not worrying and obsessing over tomorrow and the future. I can only live in the moment, otherwise its easy to get overwhelmed.)
5. Remind myself that I CAN do this. I am capable and have strong willpower to stick to my new positive lifestyle changes.3 -
Isn't it time for this year to be over??????????????
My Mom died in early March out of state. Had to arrange to bring her back her for her funeral. This was the first week of Covid shutdown. Funeral could only have 10 people in attendance; sad for so many reasons and on so many levels.
Then into full isolation due to Covid. Everything closed. Groceries delivery only. Dealing with isolation, boredom, major "cabin fever", lack of physical contact with other humans, etc.
Then, hit with 500 year flood and it's aftermath. Three days of Flood Watch to determine if I would need to evacuate while worried about family who already had to evacuate twice from two locations. Brother's house flooded over 5 feet inside house totally destroying everything. Can't help with cleanup so volunteered to do laundry (SIL major quilter so trying to salvage her finished work as well as other sheets, bedding, etc). Also making daily runs to Flood Distribution Centers for cleanup supplies, food, water, etc.
Finally, about first of June, Michigan starting to slowly open back up. Restaurants having seating available while following distancing guidelines, etc as mandated by state. Thrilled I'm finally able to get a restaurant meal occasionally, but still playing it safe for the most part.
June 9-10, had inspectors come in and they determined I had black mold in the house ... which grows and spreads mega rapidly. So, due to lung conditions and allergies, I had to move out of my house. Since all cleaning & restoration services in our state are heavily engaged with flood restoration, they are hard to get booked. Most were quoting 6-8 weeks before they could start. Luckily, I had an experience last year with Modernistic and promoted them heavily for their excellent work so they graciously worked with me this time ... but it was still almost 2 weeks before they could get into my house. Then had a house cleaning service come in to clean my house top to bottom and do laundry for any fabrics (like bedding, drapes, etc) that may have been exposed to mold spoor. Since I had never had mold issues in the 40+ years in this house, the inspectors felt I may have introduced it with the black plastic bags of flood contaminated quilts, etc that I brought into the house. GREAT!! I created this mini disaster myself.
So, I am back home (after living in a 10-foot camper for almost a month. Have laundry to do, inventories to do -- so I can put in an order for delivery, and make to-do lists LOL.
I seriously don't have the energy or time to read all the posts I've missed so will just start from here. Congrats to all who have lost during this time! Hang in there to those who've been maintaining or gaining!! Welcome to any folks who are new or who have returned after a time away.
It's great to be back. Hope to restart my new normal in this unnormal time we're living in right now. Hope y'all have a great day!5
