    The journey of losing weight and making healthier choices really stems within us! I decided to help replace negative self talk to create a gratitude/thanks journal. One of my goals this week is to dedicate ten minutes in my new gratitude πŸ™ journal. I want to think outside of the box and focus on what may drive me to make poor choices that don’t align with my overall goal.

    SALLY I DO NOT KNOW HOW YOU KNEW HOW MUCH I NEEDED THIS ...... GANG IT HAS BEEN A CHALLENGING FOR ME THIS PAST WEEK. I HAVE STEPPED AWAY FROM THE SPREADSHEETS AS A MOD AND I AM GOING TO KEEP RECRUITING AND RUNNING THE MODS WEEKLY CHALLENGE.... I HAVE ADHD AND DYSLEXIA AND HAVE HAD THOSE SINCE I WAS YOUNG LAD.     I know what you mean about the 10,000 steps! You gotta move a lot during the day to get them...sometimes they just don't seem to add up :)

    Friday, August 9--21,170. This is an all time since I've been wearing this Fitbit--April 23!
    I walked a ton during the day (kind of by mistake since I couldn't find my car in the parking garage :# ) and then on a four mile "midnight hike" (hosted by a Meet Up group the first Friday of the month when the moon is full) and gotta admit I was pretty pooped. I got up for an 8:30 a.m. yoga class and was pretty pleased with my dedication :)

    Saturday, August 10 --11, 733

    Not even going there on the goals since I had plans (and drank EVERY single night last week)...

    Will post WI and steps after the gym in a few hours.

    8/8 - all goals met; 9324 steps; migraine struck
    8/9 - all goals met; 9662 steps; migraine continued
    8/10 - exercise goal met; 7612 steps; migraine over, carried on Saturday plans as scheduled
    8/11 - exercise goal met (church-wide hike) grocery shopping done, laundry caught up from migraine; 16649 steps

    Sorry I disappeared for the last half of the week. There's a problem with the lights in my new office and they triggered a nasty migraine.
