Not a good day, I had an unruly busy and stressful Friday and grazed throughout the day a bit. Had an ocular migraine this evening...still sick and mega tired (no sleep last night--shoulder acted up --I did too much yesterday). Steps are low bc I took today as another rest dayπ. Fresh start tomorrow.

MY BODY WAS FIGHTING A VERY SEVERE INFECTION OF DIVERTICULITIS AND THE INFECTION WAS WINNING
DOC. GEORGE BRENNAN TOOK ME INTO EMERGENCY SURGERY....
8.5 HRS LATER AND DYING TWICE ON HIS TABLE I CAME OUT WITH A FULL NON REVERSAL ILEOSTOMY
3 COMPLETE BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS DUE TO BEING SO SEPTIC 4 DRAINS AND 1 OF THOSE BEING MECHANICAL
THIS WAS MY NEW LIFE.... I NAMED MY STOMA ...SHADOW X-117 IN REMEMBRANCE OF MY K-9 PARTNER OF 5 YEARS.. WHOM ALSO KEPT ME AND MY TEAM ALIVE IN THE JUNGLES OF SOUTH VIETNAM AND ELSE WHERE.
DON'T FEEL SORRY FOR ME ...BE HAPPY FOR ME AS I AM STILL ALIVE TODAY BECAUSE OF DOC BRENNAN AND HIS SKILLS AS A SURGEON. DON'T FEEL SORRY FOR ME FOR ANY REASON...CELEBRATE WITH ME AND MY OSTOMATES FRIENDS AROUND THE WORLD THAT WE SURVIVED IBD, IBS, Ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease AND DIVERTICULITIS.
