I'm out of Rehab, I was in there for 2 weeks! When I thought I'd only be in there a week. Anyway, I've gained 6lbs while I was there cause there's not much to do and can't really choose healthy food. I'd like to be put on the cheerleading squad for a while til I'm ready to get back to the challenge. I weighed today at 212.9

@CassieGetsFit2013 - Welcome back and hope that rehab was a good experience for you. We already have you on cheer squad! I recorded your weight and weekly weigh ins are not mandatory for cheer squad members. Let us know how you are doing when you can!1

it has been such a busy few weeks, i'm sorry for being quiet on this thread! I did manage to check in and log most of my meals last week, but was on the go with Spanish lessons, some volunteer work and a few staff events that i had to attend. Glad last week is over!
Yesterday was my 42nd birthday, my friends took me out and we had lots of beer / unhealthy bar food, but I had so much fun! I set my goals for the upcoming year, and one of them is to make this my healthiest year yet! Also, i'm going to try to do some sort of daily art, whether it's just a doodle, or doing some writing. And another one is to spend more time outside!
So - starting today, I promise to get back to being more attentive on this thread, no matter how busy i get!
Oh - i treated myself to a Fitbit wifi scale which sends my weight and body fat percentage (yikes!) to my fitbit app, but i think it also is sending it to my fitness pal page which I'm not crazy about - i'm trying to figure out how to turn that off, but can't seem to find the settings. If anyone has a Fitbit scale and can offer any tips, let me know lol!

Happy rainy Sunday! I walked for 30 minutes again today. It was about 100 more steps in the same time. I am so competitive with myself, I am going to log the distance and time each day.
Yesterday brought great joy to my friend who turned 60. The axe throwing was amazing and thanks to my workouts with my trainer, I was the only one who did not have pain in their arms, shoulders , and upper back, Yeah!
I limited myself to one cheese stick and one piece of flatbread pizza.and one Miller Lite at the bar. Dinner was lump crab meat on grilled haddock with a baked potato and broccoli. Birthday dessert was 1/3 of a piece of pumpkin roll. Overall I did really well and made it to bed by 3:00am. Success on all fronts.
My son gave me a coffee tip yesterday, warm the fat free half and half then sprinkle pumpkin pie spice in it and add coffee. I am buying the spice tomorrow.6 -
Hello and happy Sunday everyone. I just got back from Waterloo Ontario. I got a lot of dancing and had a blast but my eating was not the best!! In the hotel they served hot breakfast but I had brought my little oatmeal packets and stuck to my normal breakfast routine. There was a microwave and refrigerator in the hotel room and I knew if I ate at the breakfast the hotel served I would eat way more than I needed. Plus I would make bad choices. I like to start my day with oatmeal because it seems to stick with me and I know it’s a healthy option so it sets my day out on a good note! But the rest of the days were not normal by any means! I’m afraid to get on the scale tomorrow and hope I haven’t undone all my hard work 😤5

I did my Zumba class this morning then went to my son's house for a football party. I ate too much, I don't plan on having dinner and did not have any alcoholic drinks, only water and lots of it. I came home and made some protein balls for the week. It's only 6 but I'm so done with this day. Maybe it's the thought of getting up at 4am, lol.3

@Barbb1557 , @Mrsbell8well, @sleepymom5 , @Cafelelia , @ljdanny Thank you all for the advice, prayers, thoughts, and support. It was no nice to log in and see all of it. We haven't told anyone in the family about any of this, so you ladies are the only ones who know. I appreciate all of you.
School and life in general lately have made it hard to post when I want. But, I read this thread daily and root for every single one of y'all!
The remainder of my week went......well, it went. haha My goal for this week is to exercise a minimum of 3 days, although I would love to get 5 or 6 in. I'd also like to get my water in. The past 2 weeks I've slacked with that which stinks because I was doing so well. I'm not dwelling on it- there's always room for improvement.

I've been doing pretty well with my goals this week.
Fruit: 4 days got 4 fruits in, 1 day got 3 fruits in, 2 days 0 fruit
Veggies: 4 days got 3 veggies in, 2 days got 4 veggies in, 1 day 0 veggies
Water: 5 days got 8 glasses in, 2 days got 7 glasses
Now, just to keep it going!6 -
Here I am visiting again, and I just LOVE the idea ofTHE PLATEAU WHISPERER

So my friend showed me a neat app called "do it now" where you can set daily goals for yourself for anything, really, but you earn or lose points for completing tasks. So if you set up your tasks for healthy lifestyle type stuff, you could track that.
I'll be giving it a go. Hope everyone had a great weekend!5 -
@Cafelelia can I start again? My starting weight is now 144.
Didn’t have a great September, it flew by! I over ate, drank way too much and didn’t do the workouts I promised myself. Lost control due to life events that I just couldn’t handle very well. And just shut down. I do enjoy reading every ones posts and truly appreciate that sharing the bad is a good thing. I know I need to start again, and start opening up instead of hiding from myself. I hope that’s okay.3 -
@Julie8468 - Totally understand and I have a similar issue about shutting down when things get rough. I asked the moderators to move you back to the team from the drop list. @sleepymom5 once said to me, when you are having a bad time and feel like shutting down, that is when you should be posting most on our space. This space is about our journey, not just posting weights, so just know that you can comfortably share here. Glad that you are back!!
@GingerPwr - Very cool app & thanks for sharing!
@jugar - Thanks (& nice photo)!
@tryingagain5 - Excellent week!! Congratulations!
@amytriesww - We are here for you, and just check in when you can! A 2.2 lbs loss is amazing by any standard and congratulations to you for staying on track in spite of everything that is going on!
@ljdanny - Did you get up at 4 am? I need to know!
@lennoncpa - Welcome back! Glad that you had a great time! Don’t worry about the scale tomorrow, you are back in your routine now. Have you ever tracked your calorie burn for a dancing weekend like this?
@Barbb1557 - Another amazing walk! Way to go! Also congratulations for sticking to your plan and having a great time at the party! I forgot that pumpkin spice season is upon us!
@Twyla77 - Happy Birthday!! Here is to your healthiest year!! We missed you last week and thanks for providing your updated weights. Glad that you are back! There is a way not to link your scale to MFP, I think you go in the app setting for the scale and for MFP too.

Sunday check in
Food - logged & on track
Water 1.8 l
Exercise - another rest day for my leg
Yesterday was a busy blur & today is another one. Had a bad fight with my older son this morning at breakfast (about an upcoming haircut of all things). We checked in with each other this morning and are ok now. It is tough having a newly minted, moody teenager. It is just one of those things that you try not to let ruin your day, but it is hard to start off the day like that. It is only Monday, and I need to move my head back into a positive space!6 -
@Julie8468 - You are back on the team challenge list! Your weigh in day is Friday and we put 144 as your weight for last week. Welcome back!0

Checking in
I got up way too early but took advantage of the time after the sun rose and walked for 33 minutes and more steps. I just drove my car around the circuit and it is 1.5 miles with a lot of hills.
I may be dog sitting this week, so my walking could increase, yeah!
I met friends for lunch and asked for the spinach salad with chicken, I asked for it on a plate instead of the tortilla bowl and I picked out the croutons. Breakfast was really good. I cooked oatmeal in sugar free almond milk and added pumpkin pie spice and a few blueberries. I discovered a huge bonus of reducing my sugar, blueberries seem much sweeter.3 -

@Cafelelia I did not get up, boo. I'm awake every morning at 3 and just hate to get up and wait til my alarm goes off at 5, today was the first day I slept til my alarm went off. Never happens. I did come home and workout though.
I am getting my food ready for tomorrow. I have a CPR class tomorrow night so I will miss my Zumba class so I just might have to get up at 4. I had ordered some Leslie Sansone videos that arrived, the walk 15 series I tried those today I don't like them as much as my other one I have but I will keep trying it.2 -
Hello and happy Monday everyone.
@Cafelelia it actually would be really hard to track my calories burned during a dance weekend. I also wear an Apple Watch and I tried to track the start and stop of each class but then I would forget! We danced starting at 8:45 in the morning took a 15 minute break to get to each next class took a lunch and dinner break then danced until 10:30 at night. It was a blast! I came home yesterday and took a long nap! Then I had a great nights sleep!! I was able to track my Fitbit steps at over 21,000 Friday and 20,000 Saturday 😀6
