Welcome to all new members and welcome back @mrs1spy !
This is my 11th month with the team. I've lost 44lbs since joining (and in total I'm 90lbs down from starting MFP). The weight loss has slowed right down but I still lose something every month.
My focus has completely changed from the beginning of the year though, and now I concentrate on improving my fitness rather than a number on the scale.
I love the classes at my gym and mostly do circuit, kettlebell and recently started bootcamp.
Here's to a great month!

This first week of November isn't starting out to good. I'm dealing with a lot of stress and for me that can lead to bad food choices. Hoping it doesn't mean a lot of weight gain. Have to find a better way to deal with stress instead of eating. My Weigh-In day is Saturday and I'm hoping to at least stay at last week's weight instead of gaining. 😭😓2

Bad week! Lots of celebratory activities going on which included way too may sweets. Also wet/cold weather which slowed down the walking. Recommitting week.1 -

I am a bit late this month. I have been away on a family gathering. I just came back.
My mini goal for today was to sincerely say Yes to all expectations and I am glad to do just that! This is actually my daily goal this month!1 -

I finished up the shred program today. It was difficult, but I did not cheat once. In 56 days I lost 21.2 lbs, making my grand total 27.5. He will soon post my before and after photos along with inches lost and BF lost. So happy with the results. I'd like to maintain within 5 lbs over the holidays. My ultimate goal is 135, very close. If I get ther I do, but if not, I'm honestly comfortable in my skin right now. I feel great and healthy. Thanks for all of your support!
Congrats @jupdyke that's awesome!!!! What did you do or not do on the shred diet?0 -
Hello to all our new and returning members,
I'm Rhonda (@evangsimmons170). I'll be 51 this month, divorced, no kids, and working like a maniac. LOL. My main job is that I'm an elementary assistant principal. Plus I've got a bunch of side hustles too because I'm working towards being 100% debt free. (I just paid off one of my student loan lenders last month!)
My goals for November are:
Work my way back up to 15,000 steps a day
Lose 6 lbs
Log my food and water daily
Check in/post here at least 3x/week
That's about all I can handle at the moment, but if I can just be consistent in those 4, I'll really be doing something. Thanks for walking this journey with me3 -

It felt like a really bad week! I wasn't consistent with my tracking and all I wanted to do was eat eat eat...
My goal for this week is to be mindful of why I am eating and if I really need to. I know when I get stressed about work the first thing I do is eat something. I need to work in a new coping mechanism this week as this is what always holds me back.

I haven't been doing good with my eating but I have been doing well with my walking. I need a little more strength to overcome my weakness for food.0

Week 1
Monday
Previous weight : 141.1
Current weight : 141.7
I seriously don’t know what’s wrong! I weighed 140.2 this Saturday and today I weighed myself and saw 141.7 on scale and I am really disappointed 😞
Nothing is wrong!
I started this Challenge on August 1st at 141.2. I am 121.3 today.
20 pounds loss in 3 months. True weight loss is a long... slow ....not-fun process. 🤣
I have to be super strict to lose weight. Diet, count calories....AND, most important exercise.
Most effective for me is a non-stop minimum 3K fun every day.....to lose those 1-2 weekly pounds.
If I just calorie count (with clean eating) and do a daily step count of 8,000+.....I do not lose 1 pound a week.
I have to burn calories.....🔥........not just drastically reduce them.
For me....exercising keeps me in check and not over-eat. Because, I hate to exercise! I only want to do the minimum! Lol!
I am very active....I just do not lose any real weight dancing or playing sports.
Every day make a plan and make time. Post it here. Follow- thru.
This is what helps me tons!
Thank you, Team Flab-u-Less!! 🥳
That’s so inspiring! Thank you1 -
@myjourneytobefitme Did you eat something salty? Salt bloats me like crazy! Drink up and see what happens.
You are right! My water intake is not upto the mark so far! Will definitely work on that from now on! Thank you

Hey all! Sorry I took so long to come introduce myself!
I'm Audrey; I'm 34, no children (well no two legged children, we have two dogs and a cat ). I just got married over the weekend - it was a small civil ceremony with just our two best friends; one got officiated so she could do the ceremony and the other tuned in on FaceTime while on deployment. We're doing the big family wedding next summer, but wanted something small for ourselves. So I had taken some days off around the weekend for travel (driving, but still 3-4 hours of it) and fun so I haven't been on MFP much.
I'll start the daily posting this upcoming Sunday I guess. I've mostly been tracking. Not always under calories though. I am working on getting back into running since taking a break from it for a couple of years - series of unfortunate events kept me from it for a bit. My goal for the month of November is 30 miles - mainly doing 1.5 miles at a time 5 days a week. I do interval running (30sec run/30sec walk alternating). Days I don't run, I'll walk with my partner and the boys (dogs) - I'm going to try to walk on days I run too. Don't get many steps in at work.
So excited to be a part of the group! My weigh in days are Friday, so I'll be sure to post tomorrow!6
