Hope that everyone is having a good day so far! I have recovered from my migraine, but still feel a bit tired. I was able to do as plan yesterday and stick to it. I need to get my water and exercise back on track this week. I am starting with water today and will start up my walking program tomorrow. School is back in session today online and the assignments are rolling in. The online learning is really largely self-study. I still have to do a fair bit of child wrangling and supplemental teaching to get the assignments done, but at least the kids are learning and busy. Once I get things going a bit more smoothly with the schooling, I can turn my mind to my part-time legal practice again. A lot of legal processes have been moved hastily into the virtual world and our professional body had to make a bunch of rule changes to let it happen. I need to figure out some of my technical requirements and the privacy aspects for the investigations work that I do. My husband does a lot of hearings and negotiations. When the quarantine first happened, he just deferred a lot of things, but as this goes on, he started to resume a lot of that work virtually, which has been a bit of a challenge.
@pacsnc6 - Good luck with round 2 and keep us posted when you can!
@GingerPwr - Getting some things done like painting is a nice way to stay occupied during all of this.
@tryingagain5 - I hope that your first shift back at work went well.
@xX_PhoenixRising_Xx - It is amazing that you can still do a workout with that nerve issue. I hope it resolves soon.
@nstephenson01 - Hope that the plan is going well today. Baileys in coffee is so good! I limit it to Christmas, otherwise I would consume way too much!
@lennoncpa - Thank you for being such a great team member! You are doing great! We all have our deep, dark eating secrets, trust me. Doritos ruled me for a long time!
@annliz23 - Fantastic plan for the week!
@podperson1 - Great loss! You will see the 180s very soon!

Tuesday 4/14
Food: on track
Water: 64 oz
Exercise: 30 minutes low intensity, 60 minute walk with neighbor/friend
I worked last night for the first time in 3 weeks. It was strange being back. So much has changed. They gave us a mask to wear and we will get a new one each night. Gloves used to be optional, now they're required. Tape on the production and breakroom floors so we know how far apart to stay. They gave everyone a stylus pen to use on the computers and testers that are touch screen.
Only one chair at each table in the breakroom. We have to clean it after break and wash our hands before going back to work so they're giving us an extra 5 minutes at each break.
Each shift leaves 30 minutes earlier than normal so the one shift can be out of the building before the next shift comes in.
Everyone is doing pretty well with staying away from each other but it's sad because it's almost like we're afraid of each other.😥
I didn't sleep well today but I'm sure that's because it's the first time switching my sleep schedule from night back to days. I'm going to take a nap before work. I'm assuming we're still working tonight. They told us to plan on going in unless we get a text from our boss telling us not too.3 -
Just a very quick check in since I don't know if I will have time tomorrow morning. Jim is coming home tomorrow or Thursday! He didn't want to go to a rehab facility because he doesn't want to take the chance of being exposed again to Covid. He will have PT and OT in but I am sure they follow strict precautions. I am happy he is coming home but we have to change his office into a bedroom now so I am going to be busy. I will keep you all posted9

I think I posted a discussion board thread instead of a reply for weigh in day. How mortifying . Hope it doesn’t get posted outside this for all to see. Anyway here is goes a gain.

I am so very tired. My work day starts at 7:45 am and ends at 8pm. I pack lots of good food, snacks, water, herb teas, vitamins and yoga clothes. I don't have time to even take my daily bath. Wash cloth this morning. I come home from work and eat dinner that Molly has fixed, a glass of wine, a tv show, read a little then pass out. I am trying really hard to eat well. My weight went back up to 151. I was too tired to fully be upset. I am thinking a lot about lifestyle change. I am going to eat, that's just something I have to wrap my head around. I keep playing the IF game and cleanse as a weight loss tool. I have to find a way to eat and stabilize. I was back down to 149 this morning. Water is going well, exercise 100% on target. Yoga at work and Molly meets me at lunch for a walk to help break up my long day. I keep Lula Mae with me the rest of the afternoon. She is really starting to feel happy being here at work with me.
Part of my problem is that I am a size 6-8 when I am at goal weight of 142. So at 149 I fit perfectly into all my size 8's. My 8's were always a little loose at goal. So there is not the same clothing urge to lose weight. But 142 is my normal BMI and that is were I really love to be. I am trying to survive and still be grateful where I am today and how successful I am on this journey. I try to make peace with each day. We joined the CSA for summer and just joined for Spring. We got our first crate this past Monday. Gorgeous lettuces, kale, salad turnips, radishes and sweet potatoes. I am eating lots of veg and fruits every day and including treats to keep me going.
Hang in there everyone. I will try to respond to each of you when I can. Your all in my heart and prayers daily.6 -
All veg seeds planted hopefully will be harvesting curly kale this week. So far exercised every night Monday did weights and yesterday crunches, tonight plan full cardio it time allows.
@Sleepymom5 - Glad Jim is coming home.
@Mrsbell8well -Lovely foods, sometimes it's slow progress but you will get there in the end.
@GingerPwr - Grest lose well done
@ProfDawnLee - super lose week 3
@brown6267 - Well done getting those steps in
@tryingagain5 - Good luck at work and stay safe

Good morning everyone,
Yesterday was good in terms of food, I ate on plan and to my hunger scale. I just could not drinkthe full 2l of water. I think it is because I am just not as active as I usually am. I will try a gradual method of increasing. I rested and am just aiming for a gentle walk today. It turned cold here again, just a few degrees above freezing, which is very unusual for this time of year. I guess it will help with the physical distancing outside. I was going to break out some lawn furniture this weekend, but will wait until next week when it is supposed to be warmer again. My husband continues to do all of the cooking, which is such a nice break for me. He has always loved to cook, but I think that it has become a stress relieving outlet for him now. He made healthy homemade pizza last night & salad. It was delicious!
@Mrsbell8well - It is such a stressful time, so your self care and healthy eating is really important right now. I know that you have your target number, but maybe a maintenance range could be something to target right now? A few lbs up or down form that number. It just may help from a mental perspective right now.
@GingerPwr - Fantastic loss! Noom is working!
@ProfDawLee - Great loss! Don’t worry, those posting errors happen to people more often than you think!
@sleepymom5 - This is such great news!! It will be so wonderful for you and the kids to see Jim in person and hug him! I hope that his transition home goes smoothly! Big hug!
@tryingagain5 - I know that all those measures at work seem so different, but it is very good that your company is taking the physical distancing so seriously. I have been reading up on the gradual reopening of the economies in Spain and Italy, and they are also employing many of these practices. We will likely all see them when thing open up again.5 -

@Cafelelia
Yes, I'm glad that work is taking it seriously to keep us as safe as possible.
One of my coworkers and I were walking toward each from different areas. We both moved farther away from each other so we had 6 feet of distance between us. I said that this feels so weird, it's like we're all afraid of each other. She agreed and said she didn't like it. None of us like it but we know it's necessary.
I agree with you that it's easier to drink more water when we're more active. I have to make myself drink more to get at least 48 oz or more.
It's snowing here right now. I had to brush snow off my car this morning, we had maybe an inch here but other area had more. It was almost 60 degrees last week.
That's nice that your husband continues to do the cooking for you. Pizza and salad sounds good.4 -
Hello and happy Wednesday team. This is absolutely the weirdest tax day I have ever experienced. Stay home and stay safe!5
-
So far so good really pushing myself this week so just wanted to sit and play candy crush but instead completed 1 walk, 2 workouts and 15 mins on the exercise bike thank goodness for Bruce Springsteen to keep me moving.5

Wednesday 4/15
Food: only tracked part of the day
Water: 32 oz
Exercise: 60 minute walk with friend/neighbor
I worked 8 hours last night and tried to sleep when I got home. My body is still rebelling at sleeping during the day. I probably slept about 4 hours with a pattern of sleeping and waking up.
Since I couldn't sleep I got up and got dressed and ready for my day. My pastor continues to do his midweek check in through Facebook so I would have been up a little earlier than normal anyway.
I listened to that and then walked with my friend. Even though it was cold here, we took our hour long walk.
I talked with my sister and dad on the phone and my brother through text. I called for a take out meal and they said it would be ready in about 20 minutes so I went at that time and ended up waiting there for another 20 minutes. They were pretty busy for a Wednesday night, which is a good thing.
Since I didn't sleep enough I took a nap after I ate and now I'm in the parking lot at work. Now that it's 10:10, I'm allowed to go in.
Hope everyone has a good night.4 -
Got to balance out the puppy dog vibes in here and share some kitty cat love as well. Bazinga says he might sit on his backside most of the time but he also gets his lockdown workouts in!

Oh he is adorable1 -
@xX_PhoenixRising_Xx What a cool cat. And Bazinga is a great name!
Yesterday, we just had to get out of the house, so Matt suggested we try a local place called "Hot Mess Burgers." They run pick up orders out of an old railroad car. One of their specialties is a burger with donuts for buns. NOT diet friendly.
My NSV yesterday is that I got a cheeseburger salad instead of caving into the experience and going with a burger. It was still delicious, and I stayed in my calorie budget.5 -

Wednesday check in
I really do not know where the days and weeks are going. It feels like this week just started! I had a good day yesterday with food and a bit of gentle exercise. I am working on increasing the water very slowly. I am not enjoying this colder weather and we even had a few flakes of snow fall yesterday, which is very odd this time of year. It is supposed to warm up tomorrow and I really hope to do an outside walk. The online schooling and our overall quarantine has been extended to May 12th. The government is talking about a gradual reopening, but no details yet.
@nstephenson01 - I am sorry about that gain. Don’t give up though! It is not an easy time, so it is a win just to keep going!
@GingerPwr - That is a great NSV! Those small choices really can add up to a big difference!
@xX_PhoenixRising_Xx - Bazinga is so adorable!
@tryingagain5 - It is going to take some time to readjust back to your night shift. Really good that you were still so productive and did your walk!
@lennoncpa - Sunny has become the highlight of our daily posts! Sorry that you had a weird tax day. How can taxes be weird anyway?!
@annliz23 - Way to go! Bruce Springsteen is really motivating and I have him on some of my running playlists!

Oh my goodness @cafelelia that video brought tears to my eyes. So happy for @sleepymom5 and her family!
@xX_PhoenixRising_Xx Bazinga is a great name!! Your cat looks like he has oodles of personality
@lennoncpa Those eyes!! The daily Sunny post brings me such enjoyment
Nice NSV @GingerPwr!
I don't know what to say about my gain this week. It was a challenging week for a number of reasons. We received 4 1/2 inches of snow on Sunday and another few inches yesterday.
Its been unusually cold also which makes me want to eat more. TOM arrived unexpectedly a couple days early and despite Corinne Crabtree's voice in my head, I used it as an excuse to eat crap. Hubby has a wicked sweet tooth so there are temptations in the house calling my name that aren't normally around. I've settled into 14:10 IF and have managed 16:8 a couple times this week. I like it and am going to stick with IF for the time being. I did really well with water but 80 oz is just too much... I'm in the bathroom all the time LOL. Going back to the old fashioned method of knowing if I'm hydrated enough. Our weather is supposed to warm up a bit so I'm looking forward to being more active outside & farther from the fridge to lose this gain.2 -

well the scale only moved a little. I thought i was doing pretty good. i have been working out every day and when i went food shopping i did not buy any crap to have in the house. i also have been having salad and veggies with my meals and watching how much i am eating. i am trying to get more water in because i can see in my skin that i am not getting enough.
yesterday i got to go on a social distance walk with my granddaughter that i haven't seen in a month. her mom goes for a walk everyday with her and i go for walks every day so she asked if i wanted to walk on the same trail instead of different ones. i jumped at the chance, it was so good to look at her.
they just announced here that school is closed the rest of the year, not that i have children in school but i work in childcare that has been closed. i don't think we can reopen until they say people can go back to work which is suppose to be may 4th but something tells me that is not going to happen.
today i did zumba and went for a walk and then snuck off and went and had arby's. i eat them once a year and usually on my birthday but i didn't think they were open that day. i sat in the car and ate in peace, sometimes you just need that sanity. so besides the arbys i have been eating well, lol.4
