Food - over on calories, good on protein and carbs, just had a lot of fat yesterday (guess that's what happens when you undereat a couple of days in a row)... good news is that I am still within my deficit for the last 3 days combined.
Exercise - total sloth yesterday... lots of meetings for work and just a low energy day... finished the day with 2600 steps.3 -

Megan, I do hope you get to feeling better SOON!!! I felt a little yucky yesterday, but it was from doing a little too much ab work the day before. As the day wore on my sides hurt more and more. Good thing I did most of my exercising in the morning!

Snacking👿 snacked Tuesday but not yesterday. It could be worse.
Carbs/protein- carbs were a bit high the last two days and protein is average but could be better. I ate sushi Tuesday as Hubs was fasting for a procedure so I didn’t want anything with a smell to make him more hungry. I’ll try and bump the protein over the next several days to fill up. Calories have been over my ideal deficit but I’ve stayed active.5 -

I have to share a funny story. So yesterday afternoon, I did my w3d1 of my c25k on my treadmill, then changed clothes, layered up (cold outside) and went walking outside another 6.82 miles.... And of course Murphy's Law says that I will remember that I was supposed to have dinner with my girlfriends when I am at the FURTHEST distance from my home....yep. Lol. So I speed walked/ran all the way back to my house, jumped in the quickest shower in history, and then raced out the door with wet hair, to meet the girls for dinner at Longhorn steak house! I had texted them to tell them to go ahead and order and not to wait for me, but they were having drinks and waited anyways! I ordered a Strawberry Pecan Salad that was only 190 calories (and NO drinks!). It was a good day, I got over 800 calories from exercise that I didn't use, although today my knees are killing me! (That's why I cannot run outside on the pavement - only on the treadmill because of the cushioned impact!)7 -
11/19 Goals met .... I did 30 minutes of aerobics and walked 2.69 miles today ...it felt good to get out in the fresh air ...but I got light-headed so I ate and slept all afternoon ... the pressure in my face is still very intense...it did feel good to be active again since I hadn't been since last Friday5

1. Food basically on point although there was some pecan snacking today.
2. 11 mile training run plus another 6 miles walked at work. One week until the half marathon!

The last three days have been jam-packed. I've met my macros and my calorie goal. Yesterday marked my first 30 days of Keto and over 16lbs loss. Today my food scale died out. I ordered another to replace it as I rely heavily on it as I prep and track every single thing.

Trucking along. All good on the food front, but slacking on walking due to fatigue (which I guess is being sensible, rather than slacking, but...). Made yummy stuffed portobello mushrooms for dinner last night, which I am counting as new recipe number 2, even though I didn't use a recipe I'm having to do a rethink with food as my eczema is flaring, which nixes egg-based things. Hopefully I'll be able to reintroduce them once or twice a week once things settle.5

My carb macro was set to 53 beginning of the month. I dropped the percentage by 5 and it's now 35/day. I'm content going over and hovering around 40-45/day since I am getting a fair amount of fiber. No desire to pay for premium and set my macros exactly.
Steps this week-30k so far with two days to add to my total. I may actually meet this goal this week
In order to get more strength training in, I'm going to have to set a calendar reminder.
Hubby fixed my bike trainer, tire was rubbing (horrible smell). Riding is now so much better and I will be doing lots more of that!4 -
11/19:
Food - calories slightly high but still reasonable, protein was good at 130g, carbs were horrible at 157g net (dam those ginger snaps!!!).
Exercise - intervals on the elliptical for a total of 45 minutes (varied intervals 30/30, 20/10 and 60/30).
I need someone to follow me around and slap me upside the head when I get near the tin of ginger snaps.... any takers?!?
The good news is that I have closed the rings on the fitbit twice this week and should manage to close them again today (helps to get a good bike ride in during the day).2 -
@Mrs_Hoffer That Murphy! But glad you had such a great day. That salad was a great find. Great job on staying away from the drinks with the Ladies; that's a hard one!
@gispi918 Fantastic progress!
@Nony_Mouse You're not a slacker. We know you exercise when you can. Sorry about the eczema. My 2 youngest have it. Unfortunately we haven't been able to figure out the triggers as I think there are multiple. It comes and goes.
@enelid The race is so close! That kind of training requires dedication I admire. Running is not my fave. If you see me running, either I'm playing soccer or you'd better run too.
@tishsmith101 I've been thinking about getting a bike trainer. I have an old recumbent bike hand-me-down, but I don't like it. Great job on meeting your step goal.
@Megan_smartiepants1970 I do hope you are starting to feel better before the day is out. Glad you managed to get a walk in but be easy with yourself. I know that's hard. If I'm anything but very ill, you can't keep me away from getting a workout in. I don't feel right if I miss it. Hang in there.
Look at me managing the bandwidth to be chatty.
As for me:
11/20:
logged and on-plan:
exercise: bodyweight strength and a 2 mile Sansone vid
I have fam with the Rona, and their dog is even acting sick. 2020: the year of agonizing waiting to see if either it will all just change from fire to an explosion, or it's going to get a little better. There just keeps being more fire.

Nommmm....cookies. Oops! I mean...Out, Cookie Demon! Out I say!
Nice job on the activity though.4 -

@gispi918 16lbs in your first 30 days of keto! I think you're doing an amazing job woman!! Kudos to YOU! And yea, I get the whole food scale thing - I use mine several times a day, everyday! Lol. (I'm very heavy handed and my hubby says I'm "spacially challenged".... I can never put left-overs in the right sized bowl. Lol. And I think something looks like about a half-cup portion, and it's usually about 2 cups instead! Hubby laughs at me all the time!)

Closing all the ⭕️!
But the FMLA has come to an end. I go back to work on Monday ( my birthday). I decided to suck it up and got back until the end of the year. My daughter is going to suffer. But keeping insurance for this year is important and to leave the company I was with for 10 yrs in a clean, good way is also important.
I may not be able to get a perfect move month but I’m going to continue my best.

Haven't checked in for awhile because I felt like I've just been flailing around since mid-September, without the successful transition to my health plan that I strongly envision.
I felt especially bad about it for a couple weeks.
Then this morning I realized that a certain fat area on my body was much smaller. My pants and jacket were a bit loose! Noticable.
I guess in the midst of the too real diet chaos, while not doing what I planned...I've at least been doing something every day, foodwise or activitywise, and it adds up over time. And, now the proof!
I really needed that.5 -
11/20
1. Not hungry today, so calories definitely low. Makes up for the earlier pecan snacking.
2. 3 mile training run plus another 6 miles window shopping at the mall.2 -
11/20:
on-plan and logged:
exercise: Stuff got real yesterday and between dealing with kid needs and a call from my sis in Houston there was no time but I'll make it up this weekend. Today is supposed to be lovely so I'll got out and hoof it this afternoon.
Got on the scale to get an idea of what is going on. And was rewarded with no loss whatsoever. Annoying but not surprising. I said this last month I think that this is the Purgatory weight range where I will literally sit at the same weight for a month or more and not lose a thing then finally whoosh. So not shocked. I felt and looked a bit slimmer in the waist, which was why I bothered to hop on. But alas, scale is doing nothing for me. Just KC and LC On.4 -

@Megan_smartiepants1970 I do the same thing. Most of the time it's just hard to sit still. Lol. I hope you feel better SOON!
@baconslave I haven't gotten to that purgatory weight range (aka plateau) yet, but I know I will eventually. I did have a nice experience this week when I put on my jeans and they just went right on! I didn't have to jump up and down and pull and tug, and suck it all in.... etc. Hahaha.5 -

Thanks @Mrs_Hoffer ....I have hip dysplasia so my hips hurt a lot ... I have a screw in my foot so it bothers me quite a bit ... I just have to live with it .... I will not let it stop me from walking ...5 -
Food and steps on point!
Still need to get the electronic scale figured out. A good Sunday project.

Goals met. ❌
11,020 steps.
At the end of the day, I realized that I had forgotten to add my afternoon snack of my gluten free pumpkin bread with cream cheese icing.... and when I went back to add it in, it put me over on both my calories and carbs. Ugh. THAT's exactly why I try to pre-log everything I'm going to eat all day... then if I do go over, I can delete one of my snacks (that I haven't eaten yet!) Lol. Oh well, even so, I only went over by a small bit.... not a horrible day.4
