@evangsimmons170 How's *your* patient? My spouse (not "partner," which implies non-married couple) was actually very cool, calm, and collected post surgery. There was minor bruising and slight discomfort, but all in all, was fine.
I hope yours was, as well.
@micki48 Steps for the week:
Sun: 4,500
Mon: 5,300
Tues: 7,680
Wed: 6,800
Thurs: 6,200
Fri: 6,500
Sat: 7,000
The end of this week has been a bit wild in my eating patterns! Holy cow. We still have mini candy bars (not sure how) and I've been grazing on crackers...anything crunchy, salty, and then SWEET! Sigh.
Well, I plan to take a longer walk tomorrow...earlier in the day...and to also slow down my anxiety-eating.
Have a lovely weekend, y'all! Stay safe especially if you're going to Spas, restaurants, bars, or gyms. They're pretty high on the risk factors.
Off to bed and then to experience another warm (weird) November-in-Vermont day tomorrow.
xoxo

Steps today: 10,698
I ate well all day and I took a long walk (to Starbucks lol) with my son today so I had some room in my calorie budget. After dinner I went to visit my best friend and his husband and just caught up and had a few glasses of wine. It was so nice to be with them. Hope you all had a Happy Saturday.7 -
Morning all.
My weekend so far has been better then ever before food wise. I allowed myself a few planned treats, went a bit over on crackers and cheese but nothing like I've done the last couple of weeks. I didn't log as I'm trying not logging for awhile (messes with me too much).
I'm finding that since I did log for awhile last year I have a pretty good idea of calories in foods and I'm trying to avoid the calorie dense stuff.
I hope I stick it out today and the rest of the week.
Have a great week everyone.7 -

PW 62.9 kg
CW 62.9 kg
LTD 5.9 kg
- I did not lose any weight this week.
- I could restriction my calorie intake to the amount I intended to, except last Monday that I had 2000kcal emotional eating due to work related stress, but then I managed to stop overeating for the other days.
- I excercised around 13 hours, that was 5 hours more than my initial goal.
- I couldn't have 8 gls of water per day and I had 5 glasses per day, so I have to try to improve this part of my plans.
- Unfortunately again this weak I was too busy with work and could not read team messages that this also made my motivation level lower than before, so for this week I plan to devote more time to read F2F messages.

@CanadianGiraffe I'm sorry to hear it, I hope that he gets better soon. 🙏0

The Green Challenge Percentage of people who lost weight this week. No matter how small the loss the weights are recorded in green. Remember that even if your team doesn’t rank the highest in weight loss for the week you can still be the Green Percentage winner by having the most losses in your team! So keep it up!!4

@Pearl4686 and @mbakhtiaruz Thanks for the encouragement! I'm only a little annoyed since 169 was the lowest I hit back on WW all those years ago and I want to finally get past this point.
I'm sure when I hit my shark week it'll drop. =P4 -
WaistAways! We did not make it into the top 3 this week, but we had a good percentage of small green increments, so hang on - we'll hit a good whoosh soon. **Kittens** in gear - you know what to do! And @Terytha . You know how much I enjoy numbers, but you are NOT stuck on 169 just because it is the lowest you hit years ago. Promise.
Crazy Idea Department:
I just went through the whole team - it being the day for tallies - and I see that it would be easy to make 12 "pods" of 2-3 people, each within a fairly small weight range. I'm wondering if you'd be interested to have this kind of pod thing to add a layer to the team support. You could send each other a daily text, try to lose the same amount in a week, get in touch before eating the evil chocolate cake of doom or something - . Of course, I know that some of you are crazy busy and would have trouble adding one more thing, but if you're interested, make a squeak.
Here are the groupings just based on weight - it isn't the only way to do it, but just as an example.
@YinxFed and @coffeetwist
@mbakhtiaruz and @snakagawa11
@terytha @krcapone and @CanadianGiraffe
jguldi11 @MandiSaysHey and @AshenMoon
@PlaneMonkey and @conleywoods
@lovethyneighbor and @ells_runs
@dashofwicked and @offitgoes
@kmriedell @evelynladams527 and @Kali225
@JvalaNavin and @KellyBgetsfit
@evangsimmons170 @travelingalone1 and @happimess01
@SMcFall0215 @Gidgitgoescrazy and @Steph1498
@pearl4686 and @micki48
I chose similar weight as a way to make the groupings since it is usual that you could lose at around the same rate and would be aiming for similar monthly goal weights. Give it a think and let me know if you'd like to try it! Or if you absolutely would not consider it. Maybe just a few people want a buddy to get some kicks in the SOP more personally6 -
-
@jugar The idea looks helpful, just I'm too busy these days and have a long list of TODOs in my bucket. So I m afraid with adding more task, I just give up on the whole weight loss plan. Maybe I join in the future to this plan, but not available for a daily chat at this month.1

Steps and exercise update for 7th November:
Steps - 3538
Exercise - 44 mins Full body strength workout
@jugar - sadly I can't commit to the accountability pairing that you propose - just not enough hours in the day for me to squeeze this in - as evident by me sending this update at 00:22 Monday morning!
Night night. 😴3 -
@micki48 My steps for the week (a bit late!)
What a weekend here in the US. Must say, my eating (and drinking ) were not so healthy but that's okay! It was for a good reason. I really want to be motivated and focused this week so I can have some green on Friday. That starts now if I can get off the couch and do a 25 min workout and a 25 min yoga session. I'm kind of glad I left yoga until now when I usually do it in the mornings because today's practice is called "Wind Down Yoga" which should be go for before bed!6 -

Hi Pearl! I'd love to be your buddy. I need something (someone) to help me staying on track and make a move down the scale again. So, how are you doing today? I'm getting my head back in the game after a crazy week. I can't believe it, but somehow, I actually lost this week. Probably because I had a big gain last week. In any case, I will take it. I would love to end this year with a little loss. So far, it has pretty much been a maintaining YEAR for me. Better than a gaining one I guess, right?
Hope your day went well!!! What are your aims for this week?

@kmriedell
@MandiSaysHey
@JvalaNavin
@snakagawa11
Off we go!0 -
@kmriedell I'm not sure what happened because I have been staring at this screen reading all the messages (over 50) for what feels like hours. I already had an entry, 12,965, for the 7th before your post above. I really don't know where that came from. Can you confirm the correct amount for Saturday the 7th? I'm happy to leave the higher amount.
12,965 or 10,715???
PS You are such a wonderful, supportive addition to this team. I really enjoyed all your posts.
Wow! It took a bit, but I have finally caught up with all the post from this past week. I don't think I'll do that again. Today wasn't a perfect day, but not bad either. I made a list. Checked most of the things off my list. I do notice the things I usually don't check off involve those things that are the best for me. I did not take a walk or do Pilates. I did, however, do my PT exercises. Didn't quite make it to my daily 9k goal today. I might be able to get a few more, but probably not to 9k. Tomorrow is another better day!
@CanadianGiraffe I am praying and hoping that things are going well and that your son is feeling better very soon. Know I am sending virtual hugs and lots of Light to help you through this difficult time.
@jugar Great news that you may soon be rid of the bump on your bum. What a pain in the *ss to continue for so long. I know you will be doing all the things very soon. Just take care when you are taking ashes down the steps of your porch.
@evelynladams527 So glad to see you back! Best of luck to you.
@conleywoods Happy to hear you are figuring all this out. You are an inspiration! I am grateful for all your positive support and your insightful posts.
@Gidgitgoescrazy Way to go, girlfriend!!!!! How exciting to be in the 150s. I never doubted you would. You are amazingly disciplined.
@Terytha You know you will not be at 169 forever. Sometimes our bodies need time at a new weight to make a new "setpoint" I think it's called. Your losses this year have been amazing!! Be patient. It will happen, I have no doubt. You are awesome!!!!!
@KellyBgetsfit Sure hope your little one is feeling better soon.
To all of you, thanks for your inspiring posts. Thanks for being part of this team.
Goals for Monday:
*Pilates
*9K goal
*Log ALL of my food
*Stay under calories
*1 act of self care

Ugh, sorry I'm so quiet lately these days. Stress and depression sent me to a rough place and my word count fell behind.
It took me all day but I caught up with a very satisfying (if not very well written) exact 13,500 words.
I have a real love/hate relationship with writing lol.8 -
Steps today: 6084
Having been off work the last several days I am not walking nearly as much as normal. But I have been enjoying spending extra time with my son and just not worrying about work. Tomorrow I am letting my son skip e-learning so we can spend a few hours walking around the Arboretum. It has been in the 70s here which will continue through tomorrow and it is unseasonably warm for November in Chicago so we will take advantage of the gorgeous weather.6 -

Hey Michelle. So glad to hear you had a loss this week! Do we communicate on here or do we message privately? I sent you a message, let's see if that works.2 -
