Thanks for sharing those 5 stars, Connie. There's not time enough to read all that I'd like, so I look for your favorites in genres that I like.

I put a couple of those on my wish list!

I finished THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF GEORGE MULLER. It wasn't as easy to read as the other biographies I've read, he had quite a bit of the same thing, which is actually what George Muller is known for, his faith and trusting in God for his needs, so he often had - we need this, we don't have the funds, the funds come in the nick of time. Amazing really. Hundreds of orphans were fed and clothed, taught the Word and taught how to read and write. Amazing.

I'm working through some of my fantasies and a Regency romance, a book one to the book two that I've already read so I know it has a happy ending!

I just finished another 5* read. I don't have very many, so this is a lot for one month.
TRACKING TILLY by Janice Thompson - It is listed as mystery/suspense, but I would call it more of a cozy mystery. Tilly is the main character's grandfather's old red pick-up truck. She bought it at an auction and it is stolen from the lot of the auction.

Current: COVERT CARGO by Elisabeth Rees (LIS).

I'm listening to a devotional which is simply parts of Bible passages on a certain theme. I'm probably going to go back a re-listen to some of the missionary biographies as well.

I am reading a regency - FINDING MISS GILES, part of a series; and then working on several fantasies, just depending on what I feel like.

I am trying to listen to SHELTERWOOD by Lisa Wingate. The books she is writing now are not Christian Fiction, so even though it showed as CF on the library site, I knew it wouldn't be. It is pretty intense, so I'm not spending a lot of time on it....and it is 14 hours, so it will take me a while to get through it.

I am currently reading MELODIES AND MISTLETOE by Kacey Stockton. I have kind of enjoyed this Christmas series. They are totally unrelated, they just take place in a city. One was in California, one in Utah and this one is in NYC.

    I finished:
HUNTED BY THE MOB by Elisabeth Rees (LIS)
THE YULETIDE RESCUE by Margaret Daley (LIS)
TUMBLING INTO TOMORROW by Juliette Duncan - this is a new series Love on Sanctuary Shores. It is six books by 6 authors being released every other week. I have the next lined up. These take place on an island based on Mackinac Island. I hadn't read anything by Juliette Duncan in a long time, and I always enjoy her books.

I am still reading SHELTERWOOD. It is really good, but not really an easy read. I'm at about 75%. I probably won't get it finished tonight, so maybe tomorrow. It's a 14 hour audio, but I do speed them up a bunch.

I am reading THE CHRISTMAS TREE FARM by Melody Carlson. I always enjoy her Christmas books.

I'm going back and re-listening to the missionary bios that I can't remember much about. I have a book by Jonathan Goforth's wife, about answered prayer, so I am going back and reading his this week so I better understand her book HOW I KNOW GOD ANSWERS PRAYER (or something like that).

I'm working more on the Miss Giles book, it's not as good as the first book I read in the series (which is actually the third book, this is the first).

I finished one of my fantasies and am going to look for book two in that series, and am reading book three in another fantasy series FRACTURED LAND, which is pretty good.

Let us know what you think, Cindy! I'm waiting for Hoopla to get the fourth book.

Connie, has Amazon gotten rid of the loan-a-book ability? It's been a while since I've seen that I can do that. I don't know if it's just the books I've looked up, or across the board.

Kim, I think they did get rid of it. I haven't been able to use it in a long time!

I am reading SINCE THE DAY WE KISSED by Kerk Murray. I have been reading these books and they are pretty good. They don't have a lot of Christian content, but they are clean.

I just finished RANGER LOYALTY by Lynn Shannon. There are a few more in the series that I need to finish, but this one just showed up on hoopla audio. One is available on KU and the next one doesn't come out until next July.

I haven't started a new audio book, but will probably do 70 NORTH by Kimberley Woodhouse. I asked the library to purchase it and it came available today.

I wish my library still did the book suggestions. I think they got one or two of my suggestions before they quit doing it - but you had to wait about six months before they look at the requests and decide what to do about it! At least Hoopla has them most of the time! Libby just has what my library has so I don't use either very often.

I'm still re-reading Jonathan Goforth's biography which will help me when I read his wife's book HOW I KNOW GOD ANSWERS PRAYER. Wow, this couple lost four children while on the mission field in China!

I finished a couple of books: THE SHATTERED REIGN, the third book in a fantasy series; and CASTLE OF THE WINDS (which I put on my last month's list, but I hadn't finished it until now - :/.

I'm reading THE NEVERSEEN KING, the second book in this fantasy series, so far it's very good.
I'm continuing to read THE FLAME IGNITES by Donna Fletcher Crow, the first book in a long series by her, and so far I am enjoying it. It takes place in the 60's and 70's.

Cindy - I'm glad you enjoyed the book. I am looking forward to book 4 coming out soon.

I have been going through some ebooks and haven't done an audiobook today.

    I did finish:
THE CHRISTMAS CATCH - Toni Shiloh. This was her newest Christmas book. It was a solid 4* read.
TOWARD THE DAWN - Mary Connealy. For some reason, I didn't enjoy this one as much as I usually enjoy her books. I liked her books that had a bit of humor more than her later books.
CAMI - Sharon Srock. This is her newest. I love her books. They are more women's fiction and they are about women from all walks of life, all ages, etc. There are a few series.
SEASIDE COWBOY’S FORGET-ME-NOT - Alexa Verde. This was okay. It might have been because I was tired and busy, but I kept having to back it up because my mind wandered. This was a birthday present from her, so I hate that I didn't really enjoy it as much as her others. I don't want to write a review on a book that didn't hold my interest, but I hate that she gifted the book to me and I'm not writing a review.

    Current:
THE BABY SECRET - Gabrielle Meyer. This is just a Love Inspired, but I am enjoying it. I have notices set on some of her books from the library, so they send me notices when anything by her comes available. I had two come up yesterday.

Right now, I am reading LOVE IN THE WILD by Mandi Blake. It is later in a series, but I thought it would probably be okay out of order. It would be much better if I knew the back story! None of the library apps had the others. Duh! I just looked them up and are available on KU. Now, I just need to read some books that are in it so I can check them out. A lot of it is due to family feuds.

My Hoopla has quite a few LI books by Gabriella Meyer. Can't wait for her new one, Nov 2nd!

I'm re-listening to the biography of LOTTIE MOON, so good! I saw a new book that is out there about her, so thought I would re-listen to this one and then see if the other one can be had on Hoopla or the library or KU.

I'm enjoying THE FLAME IGNITES or something like that. This is the one set in the 60's and 70's. The main character is doing a dissertation on her favorite author and this is about the research she is doing, but something sinister is happening in the background, as well as what appears to be a fruitless romance with a man who cannot let go of his dead wife.

Then there are the fantasies. One I didn't finish, it had a cuss word.

I just read a few Gabrielle Meyer LI books. They are good, but nothing like her time travel books. I'm excited about it as well!

    Currently reading
HERE WITH ME -Home to Heritage 2 by Mandy Boerma (Susan May Warren and Tari Faris present). So far it is pretty good. It is a lighter read and KU so I can add some more into it. I have tons of books in my wish list. I need to make better use of my subscription on KU.

I got my latest KU subscription as a birthday gift from my son last December - and he bought two years. Woo hoo! I'm not reading anything right now. I think I'll start that Valerie Bodden book I just borrowed - TRUSTING HIS PROMISE.

I got a 2 year subscription the last time. Right now, the 6 month, 12 month and 24 month subscriptions are all 10.99 a month. Mine runs out in April. I might have Bill buy me an extension if they reduce the price during Black Friday sales. If not, I will just wait and see, and maybe just do the 6 month.

I renewed a few months ago since my subscription would end in December and at that time they had a two months free offer for a year, so I'm good until Dec 2025!

I'm still working on the same books! That's the trouble with reading four or five books at the same time, it takes awhile to get through them - LOL!

I finished a couple of good ones:
APRIL’S PROMISE by Terrie Todd -Carol Finalist - It took a little while for me to get into it, but really enjoyed it after I did. I will rate it a 5* read.
ONE LAST STAND by Susan May Warren - 4th book in the series. I have enjoyed this series

I have been listening to a bunch of Love Inspired Suspense that are on hoopla. I have a bunch of borrows that I can use every month, now. I have 8 borrows from one library, and 10 from another, plus Bill's library card has 10. I realized that there was no reason for him to just let the card go since he doesn't read the paper online anymore. I accidentally let my Everand subscription continue for another year, so I have those too. I am seriously thinking about letting KU slide and just picking it up for a month or two here and there to catch up with books. The Everand subscription is cheaper per month than KU and has bunches of audiobooks.

I just finished HOPE LIKE WILDFLOWERS by Pepper Basham. This is based on a true story in her family (great-grandmother). It was very good. At the end of the book, it tells the real story of her great-grandmother. I have really read some great books this month.

I finished my re-read missionary biography of Lottie Moon, very good. I don't have any more borrows left on Hoopla (I think I get five a month) so will have to wait until next month to get another.

I'm reading a Snow White re-tell called THE HUNTSMAN'S HEART by Brittany Fichter. Having trouble getting into it.

NEVER A TRAITOR by Jan Thomson which so far is very good. I think I need to read the series before this because I often am running into Wu Knows detective agency and GOOP which I have no idea what that is, but the female main in this one is from that group.

I'm reading the third book in the Donna Fletcher Crow series. I read the first one and went to her Amazon page to find book two and picked the next one on the list (which I thought was in order), but found that it was actually the first book. I don't think I'll go back to book two though. The book I'm reading is A MIDSUMMER EVE'S NIGHTMARE.

I am reading PETE AND HIS PRECIOUS by June Glass (Jessie Gussman). It is so silly, and I am loving it. The first in the series had me laughing so hard that I had tears. This one really started funny, but hasn't had me in tears, yet. Sometimes in my life, I just need a bit of "silly".

    I finished:
HER CHRISTMAS SECRET by Gabrielle Meyer (LI)
SEARCH AND DETECT by Terri Reed (LIS) - whew this is the last one in a long series. I have read them as they come out and all have a thread running through them that is unresolved. They finally got the resolution.

I finished CITY OF SERPENTS, the fourth book in this fantasy series - but I cheated - I skipped most of the book. I didn't like the premise and just wanted to get to the resolution of the story so I can move on to book five - which isn't in my library or on Hoopla, so will have to wait until it get's to those because it's not expensive to buy but more than I want to put out for a book I'm not sure I'll like! LOL!

I finished NEVER A TRAITOR by Jan Thompson which I really liked.

I'm still working on my ELIZABETH AND RICHARD series by Donna Fletcher Crow, but enjoying it more than I did book 1.

I haven't gotten back into the anthology yet.

I finished FORGIVE AND REMEMBER (Greater Life Christian Romance Book 1) by Robin Merrill. 5* from me. I forgot how much I enjoy her books.

And how funny is that, Connie? I am currently reading the first in your series, LEO AND HIS LOVE BUNNY (June Glass).

I'm back to Love Inspire Suspense. I am trying to get my library reads finished so I can concentrate on some KU books. I have Jaime Jo Wright's newest checked out, but it will be really intense....I need a "fluffy" audiobook to go with it. I have Angela Ruth Strong's latest book checked out on hoopla, so maybe that would be a good companion.

I'm going to start HOW I KNOW GOD ANSWERS PRAYER by Rosalind Goforth tonight.

I'm nearly finished with A CHRISTIAN BUT A ROMAN by Mor Jokai. It's in the classics section and a little bit strange. This is written during the time of the Romans horrible persecution of Christians. It gets a little convoluted in parts and it's not easy to figure out some of the characters, but I've enjoyed it and am almost done with it.

I started reading SARAH'S CHOICE again, a story that takes place at the beginning of our country when settlers and Indians were at war. Near the beginning she is brutalized by an Indian, but her Indian female friend stops her brother before he can kill and scalp her - she just begs him to kill her, but her friend won't let him. I knew that the story would focus on that act through at least a good part of it, so decided that I just didn't want to keep reading, just depressing.

Still working on the same other stuff.

I finished LEO AND HIS LOVE BUNNY by June Glass. It was just what I needed; light and funny but with a great message. Haven't moved on to anything else just yet
