When we went every year, we stayed 10 days - but we camped. That took the cost WAY down, especially since we got 1/2 price camping at the Corps of Engineers campground (and it is beautiful). The last year that we went we only were at the festival one day due to Bill's disabilities. We probably stayed 3 nights in a hotel, but that was just a drop in the bucket of all of the music involved.

I always enjoyed your sharing when you came back. They need to put the groups on YouTube so we who can't go can still enjoy the show!

I see my regular NP tomorrow. I need to have my pancreas MRI in December to make sure nothing has changed and, Lord willing, perhaps has even gotten better! I also need a CT scan on my lungs before I go and see the pulmonologist. I haven't gotten a call from them, but then getting in for a CT scan doesn't take as long as the appointment for the MRI. I at least have November to work it all out. I have three appointments in Nov with the Arthritis PA, my eye doctor, and my new gastrologist. Then in December I see the pulmonologist again. Phew, I hope for a nice six month rest before I need to see any of them again. Not sure if the gastro NP will want to do an endoscopy or not, we'll have to see. Maybe a new and stronger acid reducer has come out and they will let me try that, because I've used all of the ones that are on the market now, and none of them keep me from having reflux! We'll just see how things go. Such peace knowing that God already has it figured out for me.

Lovely storms going through for the next couple of days! So far no flooding though, but when the tide comes in, we'll see.

    Love y'all.

Hey there, Kim, how did your trip to the NP go today?
