I hope you all had as beautiful a day as I did. Beth & Daniel cooked 3 turkeys and someone else brought another one, so 4 turkeys easily fed around 130 people. Then Beth came over and we ate again with Drew around 5:00. I was so tired that I fell asleep while trying to read after all that, so I'm up for a little while now.

Your Gumby story is great, Connie. He makes me smile too. I'm so glad you have the new keyboard. Like you, I often get caught up in playing and time quickly passes. One of my cats jumps onto my lap when she feels it's time to eat and then up to the keyboard if I continue to ignore her. And I can understand why people loved your Mom's dressing. I've never heard of putting sausage in it, but it sounds great. I finally figured out yesterday that dressing is whatever people want it to be, there's such a variety of optional ingredients. It's mainly getting the moisture content right. Which is what my grandmother always said, but she could never explain what "right" was.

I have to pick up some eye drops for Drew's laser surgery on Monday, but won't leave the house on this crazy shopping day otherwise.

Cindy, praying you have a safe trip. We look forward to hearing all about it.
