We had a very nice trip over the mountains. It started with rain and lightning but quickly stopped until we got to the mountains and then it snowed a little but nothing to hinder our travels. There is still a lot of snow up where it is still cold. It was 37F as we traveled and some of the ski slopes are still open. Some will stay open until June because there is so much snow packed during the winter it takes a lot ot melt.

The grandkids are doing well here with us. My daughter and son-in-law had their airplane flight canceled due to some mechanical problems and were given a later flight but they already had tickets to a show tonight so then stayed in the airport and waited until some flight had an empty seat. They both managed to get to Las Vegas but had to take different flights to get there. I hope they have a good time celebrating his birthday.

Susan - what kind of flys are you protecting yourself from? Do they only bother your face or do you have netting for your arms and legs too? I am thinking about mosquitos bitting us here but maybe the flys just buzz around you and do not bite.

Judith - I am glad you got some good rest.

Marilyn - just a few more days until your surgery. I pray all goes well.

Linda, the flies are small and they look for moisture in your eyes, nose, mouth and ears. They do not bite but who wants flies so close and personal? And they are in thick clouds. It's really off putting. They gather on your back and arms but it isn't so annoying to have them there. Safe travels!

Judith, glad you enjoyed the pictures and stories. We moved from Curtin Springs today and are in a free camp tonight.

    Marilyn, thinking of you.

We're parked in a free camp and Starlink is on! I can chat for awhile 😀

There is absolutely NO signal between outback towns. Even here, there isn't even the tiniest glimmer of a bar of reception, so Starlink is a boon, at least for some of the day especially when the sun is on our solar panels. It drains the batteries too much to have it on too long.

Yesterday was a lovely day. I went with Lyn and Greg to Kata Tjuta/The Olgas. They are a cluster of 30 red domes made of the same material as Uluru/Ayers Rock. We all walked up a rocky Gorge to the top. It took us an hour and a half, using walking sticks and I had Colin's cane. The path was quite rocky in places and had steps in others. At the top was a beautiful rock pool. We were glad we did it! Colin stayed in the van with the three dogs. His knee was bothering him and he didn't want to walk and climb.

We walked between these domes. They are over 500m high.

    The Olgas from a distance

    wcb460pg78v5.jpg

The rock pool at the top of our walk

    twu3ybv04abs.jpg

Then we stayed late enough to see the sunset on Uluru. It was stunning. That rock glows orange and red in the sunset!

    zrxobx2tcybv.jpg

After dark we got water for the van and drove back. Along the way we came to a fire. Four indigenous fellows had lit it and it was spreading. They wanted to attract attention as they had run out of fuel and water. We had water to give them but no fuel. Once we were in phone reception, we called Fire and Rescue, and told them what was happening. Apparently, people do this type of thing a lot! I don't know why. 😕 It looked like a good opportunity to rob someone to me, but Lyn and Greg felt OK about it! 😬 We all survived and Fire & Rescue were going to investigate, and a huge fire didn't get going, so all was well in the end.

When we got back to our vans, we discovered we had just missed an aurora! Colin was fine and the three dogs were happy to have the family back together again. ❤️

Happy Mother's Day to everyone celebrating.

Happy Mothers Day to all mothers both physically, spiritually and emotionally. As the older generation we can mentor younger girls with our wisdom (if they want to listen). We are having fun with the grandkids. We went to church this morning and we all got little tubes of hand cream and a zipper bag that it was in. They had enough left over that they gave me some to give to our congregation in Grand Junction when we go back. We went to COSTCO after that and they were giving out free samples so that was my lunch. They have some really good tasting samples trying to get people to buy things but I usually just buy what I need and if I have any extra money, I might buy something later if I really like it.

Susan - The Olgas look really beauriful expecially the sunset one that highlights it's red color. Are they piles of rocks or an entire rock structure? I assume they are not manmade. Thanks for telling me about the flies. That would be very frustrating to have them in your face all the time! I am glad you have the netting to keep them out of your eyes. It is scary about the men starting fires. It does not look like there is much to burn but still they are causing damage. I wonder if they got a fine for starting the fire. We were supposed to see the Aurora last night but it was cloudy and started to rain to we missed it. I used to see them a lot in Ohio. They are so pretty.

Judith and Marilyn - thinking of you and hoping you are having a good weekend.

We are waiting on Glenn to finish his zoom call then we are getting our exercise walking to a playground where the grandkids can play. They want to ride their bicycles there so I hope we can keep up with them. I don't know if I can come back later but if not have a great day.

Though I don't post often you are all on my mind daily - praying for health for all of you and a closer walk with our Lord .

Getting my surgery on Thursday - glad when that day if over with and praying that this time it will work.

Have more questions for the kidney doctors - just read a good artical re covid and kidney function - it looks like the damage to my kidneys could have been from covid -not sure if they can say for sure if there is any other treatment to help improve them but even if the numbers go up into the 20's would be nice but it is all in God's hands

Have a good day / week everyone

Hello all. Yesterday I got a short chance to post as I had signal but it was too weak to navigate through MFP. Then we were in no Internet land. We drove from Desert Oaks Rest Area to Alice Springs through many little rocky hills. There were only a couple of places human habitation could be glimpsed, and not all had a phone signal much less Internet. My guess is that those who want services buy a satellite dish or Starlnk dishy.

Our Rest stop in the peace of the desert at sunset:

One of the stony hills we passed:

Arriving at 'The Alice' (a local nickname):

    k0fedbuca1yg.jpg

Our campsite at Blathershrike, Alice Spring's Showgrounds

    hhwsi5ej72mo.jpg

As you can see, we have plenty of room, access to power, water, amenities, dump point and Starlink is working fine! Yay! We'll be here a week.

Today is a day of washing the dogs, washing of clothes/bedding/anything else washable to get the Coober Pedy dust off, shopping for groceries, gas, dog food and collecting mail. Greg isn't feeling well so we will rest till he feels better. Otherwise, tomorrow we'll go exploring.

Mother's Day was spent travelling but not before I heard from all three adult children and some grandchildren. That was enough for me! It's always my wish, to speak with each of our three every Mother's Day. I also remembered my sweet Mom, Colin's Mum and our grandmothers ❤️ All are sadly gone, but we remember them.

Happy Mother's Day to all of you.

Maryn, thank you for your kind wishes. Knowing your surgery is Thursday is important. I will pray. 🙏 I do hope that your kidney function will get better. As you say, it is all in the Lord's hands. Hugs.

Linda, what a great day you had! It's lovely to hear. I saw on our church Faceboom page that o e of our mothers arra ged to give each mother a flower decorated cupcakes yesterday. They looked so special.

Judith, glad you had a nice Mother's Day too. I will hop over to the prayer request thread next. 🙏 ❤️

    Must then go wash dogs!

Having a good day - weather is nice and the strata fellow is gutting the common grass. We are restristed to 3 days of watering per week - Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. They are telling us as the summer comes on that we will likely not have any watering - that we should get used to brown grass - ugly - though I don't like to much rain we do need it.

Got weighted today - am up and not happy with that but I can see where I went wrong. Now to take the next 7 days to work on correcting what I have done and lose the weight I gained.

Be blessed everyone - remember to enjoy each day the Lord gives you - it is a special gift from Him so use it to honor him.

Today is the last day we are watching the grandkids. I am feeling pretty sore in my legs from all the exercise we have gotten. They have lots of stairs at their house and I spent a lot of time going up and down. Today I did laundry, changed sheets, had then clean their rooms, and packed up to return back to our other house. It is sad to see it over but in another way I am glad it is over. They missed their parents but also said they had a lot of fun with us. I would not have energy enough to deal with them for long periods of time. It is so nice to see how well they play together and are so polite. Part of that is home schooling that had helped them work together on projects but also has made them very inquisitive and they want to know how things work and why.

Marilyn - Praying for a successful surgery on Thursday. I hope you do not need to use it anytime but it is good to have it working well if you do need it. I am sorry that you gained weight but if you know what caused it, you can remedy it. I have not weighted myself since having different scales will not be as accurate as just using one. I have also been eating things that I do not usually do with the kids so I assume I probably have gained some weight too. I am sorry that you are already having water restrictions. I do not like brown grass either when watering is not allowed but I am so glad that the grass is resilliant and will come back to life with Fall/Winter moisture.

Susan - I am sorry that Greg is not feeling well. It is good you have a good place in Alice Springs that you can stay for a while and let him recover. Your sunset picture was lovely. Each morning and evening God gives us a show of his glory and majesty in creation. I am glad you have good ammenities where you are so they boys were able to be groomed and cleaned from all the dust they were in and you were able to do laundry. Is it pretty dusty in Alice Springs?

Judith - Are you also haveing water restrictions where you live like Marilyn is having? I believe you are closer to the coast but I don't know if that helps with the water situation. I hope you are getting some much needed rest.

Linda, the dust here is far less trouble as we have grass all around. It's quite green. I expected it to be dry, flat and dusty but none of those things are true! Glad you got to spend time with the grandchildren. Two of my granddaughters want to come stay for a 'holiday' as soon as we get back home. I am looking forward to that 😀 but do understand how much energy it takes caring for them! Oh, I remember you asking about the family reunion. It's for my 70th birthday. The plans have changed and it is now going to happen at our place. Our three adult children, their spouses and children will hopefully all be there. We're not going to Cairns now. Our youngest booked flights to go to Cairns but the airline went bust! They lost their money and can't afford to pay again. The eldest son was going to drive up but now they are saying we should all pitch in and fly our middle child's family down to stay with us instead as the boys are within driving distance of us! We'll see what really happens. 😏 The family reunion will be just for our immediate families unless my sister and two brothers with their families come. That's all there is of my family in Australia. Our parents are all passed away. Extended family is in the USA.

Marilyn, glad you know how to get the weight down. Our bodies do react differently depending on water, hormones etc. I know what you mean about brown grass. So much of Australia gets little rainfall in winter and the grass always goes brown. Water restrictions are common here. We just don't have the water to keep lawns green in winter but we don't have snow much here either! I guess your grass dies off in winter too but gets watered when the snow melts and it regenerates? Have an enjoyable and blessed day. Praying about Thursday...

Judith, I know you were having procedures and appointments yesterday. Hope you are alright today. Rest, my friend.

We have clean, clippered dogs and today we're washing blankets in the park washing machines. Greg still is feeling a bit tired so we'll leave exploring for another day. We can extend our time here since we're not driving to Cairns, but again, time will tell. Lyn and Greg will now probably drive all the way back with us, unless they decide to visit relatives in Rockhampton. We have till mid June to go home from the middle of Australia to the south east coast of Queensland. That's 3186kms or 1980 miles if we go back the shortest way! Of course we will not travel every day and will stop and see things we haven't seen before.

    Have good days, my friends.

Susan, the Desert Sunset picture is gorgeous, so stunning the colours, all the other pictures are lovely! Thanks for sharing. Glad you heard from all three of your children which made your Mothers Day! Safe travels and enjoy your exploring once you can after Greg feels better. Hope you got all caught up with shopping laundry and the boys all washed and groomed. Your campground is lovely and it’s so nice you have all the amenities.

Linda, so glad you had a blessed Mothers Day and spent time with your grandkids. They do have plenty of energy which keeps you going. My legs would be tired with all those stairs too going up and down several times a day. But it is worth it all having the time to spend with our grandkids. You asked about having to be careful with water restrictions: yes every summer we have restrictions with certain days to water and usually by hand. Then we have the Forest Fire season to deal with.

Marilyn, will be praying for successful surgery on Thursday. You made a good point about Kidneys and Covid, I wonder if there is a relation to it. Please let us know what you find out! I will be sure to really focus my prayers for you for safety, successful surgery, wisdom for your Surgeon and for speedy and full recovery my friend!

God Bless you all! Good Nite and God Bless 🙏❤️🤗

Susan - I am sorry that your youngest plane company went "bust". That would be so frustrating to hear. I have had flights canceled but never lost the value of my flight. They offer to rebook or give you vouchers to use for another plane trip later. How fun to celebrate your 70th birthday with your family when you get "home". I am sure they will have lots of questions about your trip and it will be good to be reunited after all this time. My 70th birthday has already passed me by several years ago. Maybe that is why you seem to have so much more energy than I do.

Judith - I look forward to your health update. Our prayers continue for you and your healing.

Marilyn- Your surgery is coming up in a couple of days. Prayers continue for your success and healing also.

My granddaughter (17 year old) hurt herself during her weight class and is going to urgent care as I write. I think the finger is maybe overextended but she is afraid she had broken the joint. It is quite swollen up so the x-ray should tell us if it is broken.

It is good to be back in our own beds and not to have to get up early with the grandkids. I smile though thinking about at all the fun we had together.

Marilyn, tomorrow is your Surgery, I am praying and will focus my prayers over you praying for successful surgery, for much Wisdom for your Surgeon and all the Medical team, May you sense and know God’s tender loving hand upon you and May you be filled with God’s Strength and Peace. Will look forward to your updates, a speedy and full recovery my friend!

Susan, I too am sorry to hear about the plane company going Bust) it will be so nice for you to be home with your family to Celebrate your 70th Birthday. Such a Special time. Safe travels my friend, enjoy the places you visit. Look forward to the pictures you post next. I so enjoyed the last posts you shared!

Linda, so glad you are home now, it will be nice for you to sleep in and not have to be up so early with the grandkids. I am so sorry 😞 to hear about your 17 year old granddaughter who has injured her finger in her weight class. Hopefully no serious injury is found. Will be in prayer for her. Please let us know how she is. My granddaughter is 17 too and is in her Grad year, graduating in June. I didn’t realize you had a 17 year old granddaughter too.

Take care everyone… Love and Prayers to you all! ❤️🙏🤗

Judith and Lunda, yes, it was a shock for our son to lose not one but two lots of airfares to this company. They had booked and paid to go somewhere else later in the year, too. Yes, everything here is finally getting clean again and the dogs look lovely.

Susan - your boys are so cute. They look clean and fluffy now. I am glad they can travel with you on your adventures.

Marilyn - I have been praying this morning for a safe and successful surgery this morning. I amso prayed that you will be able to go home to rest and not have to stay in the hospital. Of course, if there is a medical need, and staying in the hospital is a better option, I hope you can rest in the hospital.

Judith - thanks for the update. My grandaughter is a junior in highschool so will be graduating next year. they do grow up so fast! She did have a fracture in her finger and it is in a splint now. The break was non-displaced (the bone did not move) so we are glad for that. She did go to school but come home early because her finger was hurting. She will need to put some ice on it now to see if that helps the pain.

Susan and Linda, will be back providing no power loss, we are having a huge wind storm, huge gusts of wind, my carpet I had on a cement patio area just in front of patio door was blown up in the corner of yard and chair cushion blown almost off, just finished rolling Carpet up and wedging it between something so I don’t lose it! My yard has all kinds of things blown over it. Will be a lot of clean up tomorrow. Will respond to both your posts later.

Archie and Jasper are so cute with their new hair cuts! Such sweet boys! 😊❤️

Linda, I love having our dogs with us too. I like that I can clip them no too.

Marilyn, hoping and praying all goes well today.

We're exploring am old Telegraph Station today.

Linda, so sorry about your Granddaughters Fractured Finger. I will keep her in prayer that the ice pack will help swelling and the pain and praying for a speedy recovery and healing.

Susan, Archie and Jasper look so sweet sporting their new hair cuts. You groom them so well. The wind storm has been quite the thing, huge gusts of wind with trees swaying and everything blowing around. I had to roll up the outdoor carpet on cement deck in front of patio sliding door as it had blown into a ball under patio table. My chair cushion has blown down. Got everything put away, apart from leaves all over and other grunge everywhere from the wind I am thankful no damage! We didn’t lose power, I am prepared with carafe and thermos filled with boiling water. It’s still blowing out there.

Marilyn, praying all is well and you are recovering from your surgery, trust it was successful. Take care my friend, when you can let us know how you are doing. In meantime our prayers are covering you!

So it’s late Good Nite God Bless be back in morning! ❤️🙏🤗

Judith - I am glad that you did not loose power from the wind storm. It is true that during those time, if something is not weighted down or tied down, it is easy to loose them to your neighbor's yard or further down. Be careful outside when the wind is blowing and your weight loss. I have seen some people come from the hospital from broken bones when the wind lifted them up and they fell as they were outside. Thanks for the prayers for Aryn's broken finger. She came home early from school due to pain but was able to babysit the grandkids in the evening. I may be wrong but now days, children do not have the pain tolerance that we had as children. Yes, we got hurt but it did not seem to effect us as much. We had chores to do that could not be put off. We managed to go to school when we had coldsl and other problems. Maybe I am just remembering wrongly.

Susan - I pray Greg is feeling better. It sounds like a fun place where you are and he will be missing out if he is not able to join you. I am glad that you are able to use the washing machines at the place where you are staying. I have small machine and when I want to wash blankets, I bring them to Denver to use our bigger machine. When we were watching the grandkids, my daughter had a huge machine that does not have a middle agitator in it. It is so deep I had to stand on my tiptoes to get all the clothes out. My daughter is 4 inches shorter than I am so I am not sure how she gets her clothes out at all. Maybe my SIL gets them out of she had a grabber of sorts to help her.

Marilyn - we are all praying for your recovery.

We are having fun watching a woodpecker make a nest in our tree outside our window. He has been working for three days and has a hole about the side of a 50 cent peice and he is half way inside the tree. I think he will need to make the inside bigger so as to fit his wife and baby chicks. It is amazing how much work he can do with just his little beak.

Good morning. It's a beautiful day here though there are a few clouds. We're going to the museum a bit later. Yesterday we decided to go to the old Telegraph Office instead. It was set in a gorgeous park full of trees and bird life. They also warned us that they had snakes and wild dingoes but we didn't see any. We enjoyed the day. Lyn looked after the dogs for us. Greg is still down for the count with his cold. Fortunately they have been to Alice Springs before so don't feel they are missing out too much.

Linda, glad your granddaughter is getting over the acute pain of a broken bone. I kind of think pain tolerance might increase with age? We have more hurts to compare the new hurt with and that seems to moderate our response? I don't know, really! Unfortunately Greg is still sick with a cold. We might have to extend our stay here a little till he feels up to driving. They have been here before but it is our first visit. Yes, finding a big enough machine for blankets can be a challenge! Ours are light blankets so they fit, one at a time, in a normal sized machine. Our caravan machine is small. We tend to wash our clothes every day because it can only cope with a couple of sets of clothes.

Judith so glad there was no further damage to your patio or house. Glad you had a Thermos on stand by. Next time maybe heat a Thermos of soup too! 🍲 Then if there's a power outages, you can keep having your meals. Yes, I am finding groo.ing the dogs gets easier the more times I clip them. Glad they look OK to you! I had to cut Colin's hair this week as well. I've never had any hairdressing lessons on humans or animals but he trusts me! Lol!

Marilyn, you are in my prayers. May the Lord grant this surgery will work this time. 🙏

Linda, I so understand about we kids having more pain tolerance, I remember hurting myself but also remember moving on as I had responsibilities at home and I was the one who needed to fulfill them. And yes as we age we seem to be less tolerant to pain, however my Doctor said I have a high tolerance to pain. Continue to pray for Aryn’s finger to heal and be less painful! I sure hear you about large blankets not fitting in small machines, I have some very large and heavy blankets and I send them home with my daughter, she has extra large heavy duty machines and does them for me. No worries, I am extra careful being outside in the wind, but thank you for your care and concern.

Susan, sorry Greg is still not feeling well. You said he has been to Alice Springs before so he isn’t missing too much now. You also said you may stay longer to give Greg time to recover as he won’t be up to driving feeling like he is. Yes, I think you do a great job grooming Jasper and Archie, loved how they sported off their new hair cut. Wow, I am not sure if my husband would of ever let me cut his hair. That’s great you can do Colin’s too. Your pictures are awesome; really liked the Stationmaster’s house, it does look luxurious, and the Camel Saddles but not sure if I’d like to ride a camel, thank you for sharing your pictures. Very Nice!

Marilyn, we are praying for you and trusting the surgery has taken this time and is successful.

Love and Hugs everyone! Heading to bed, my Kitty is going to the vet for her Wellness check and her Rabies shot! Be back tomorrow! 😊🙏

Had my surgery on Thursday - was at the hospital for 9:15 am but did not go to the operating room till 2 pm - was out of surgery before 4 pm and home that night by 8:30

Am glad it is over. I should be able to feel what they call a 'thrill' but can't feel it but the surgeon can hear it. He did not give any thoughts whether this one would work - just need to be patient now as it matures - arm around the elbow is swollen, sore and starting to get itchy. Concerned that I can't feel the thrill but nothing I can do about it. Should this one fail - not sure what will be done as it is the last one that can be done on the arms -but the Lord is good and looking after me so we will wait this out doing the right thing re food and pray that this fisquala will work for when I need diaylsis. Hope that is way down the road but who knows right.

Thinking of all of you - know that you are all on my mind and in my prayers

Marilyn -it is wonderful that your surgery is done and you were able to sleep at home. With all the swelling, it can be hard to feel the thrill. It is good the doctor can hear it working.

We have family over today to move our curio cabinet into the truck so we can take it to our other house. It is the one where I display my miniature lamp collection. We have one more smaller cabinet that we need to move also but it will be on another trip. They are also cutting down a dead Aspen tree in my flower bed. They do not live very long but do start new ones before
they die. We have 4 new ones growing near by.

Good morning all. Yesterday's Transport Museum visit was more interesting than I thought it would be. They had a huge area where they built warehouses and open yards plus a central park area with kid's playgrounds, a giant chess game, plywood cutout scenarios where kids could have their pictures taken, etc. One warehouse held vintage cars and history of transport including military history. Other sheds and open areas held buses, specialist transport like ambulances, fire engines, security vans, taxis, hearses, then we had farm equipment, mining and construction, and finally the huge semi trailers and a couple of locomotives. We got tired walking the areas! But we were glad they went. I took way too many photos but here are a couple of favourites.

    I'll post more on Facebook.

Linda, hope the curio cabinet move goes well and the tree cutting too. Glad you have some help with both things. Enjoy your family today.

Marilyn, good to hear the surgery is over and you are home. I sure hope this time you get the result you need. Take good care of you.

Judith, hope your kitty is alright at the Vet's and you are, too. Glad you enjoyed all the photos yesterday. Greg is still sick so maybe he will try to find a Dr tomorrow. We haven't discussed staying here longer as he is trying not to spread germs. We have one more day here, leaving Tuesday morning. We'll see what happens. Colin wants to move on as we have a deadline for getting home, so it's possible we will go before Greg and Lyn, which would be sad.

    Take care, all of you.

Marilyn, so good to hear from you and I am trusting this last procedure will take and you will hear what your Surgeon was hearing. I believe you will. I realize with the swelling and soreness it’s hard to hear anything right now. Praying the swelling will come down quickly and the soreness ease! Take good care get plenty of fluids and rest up my friend! ❤️🙏

Linda, so glad you have your family over to help you with the things you are moving to your other house. I hope your Curio Cabinet moves well and everything else you are taking to your other house. I have a Curio cabinet too, They are so nice to display special treasures like you are with your miniature lamp collection. The collection sounds so interesting. I’d love to see a picture of the Lamps! It will be nice to have the new Aspen trees that started from your dead one to plant, are they going with you to the house or going to be re-planted there? I love watching new trees and plants grow to maturity!

Susan, your day sounded so interesting as you walked around the site touring each building that housed so many things to see like the Children's playground, Park, Transport vehicles, vintage cars, I could see it would be tiring but ever so interesting. I am sure the giant chess game was something to see and the cutout areas where kids could get their pictures taken. I so love seeing anything Military, and Vintage cars. Loved the bright Yellow Buick, the warehouse with all its semi- transport trailer trucks. Was sorry to read that Greg is still not well, he probably see a Doctor. I can understand that Colin would not want to stay any extra time and want to keep on going with looking at your time frame for returning back home. I hope Greg and Lyn can move on with you. Will keep it all in prayer.

Have a good evening all. Have a Blessed Lord’s Day tomorrow. Will sign off for now but be back tomorrow! God’s Blessings. ❤️🙏😇

We did have a good day with our kids and grandkids yesterday. We got so much accomplished in a short period of time. Our lawn is mowed, the swamp cooler is set up for the summer, the dead aspen tree is cut in pieces and is out of our front lawn and the curio cabinent is safely in the back of the truck for when we leave on Wednesday.

Judith - you asked about the new trees from the old dead one. The tree put them out a ways in our front yard about 2 years ago and they are growing really fast. They are about 10 feet tall already. There are four of them that we saved. The tree puts out lot of the baby trees because they like to grow in bunches. We would have had more if we had kept all of them. We trimmed them up nicely and them will provide shade for a while. While they are "little" they grow straight up then start to branch out as they get more mature. When I get the curio cabinent set up I will take a picture of it. We still need to unpack all the lamps and clean them before putting them up. They have been in boxes for about a year so they are probably dusty. Happy Victoria Day Long Weekend. Are there a lot of celebrations connected to this holiday? How old wold Victoria be if she were still alive?

Susan - I am glad you were able to move on with Greg but sorry that he has been sick for so long. colds are miserable and difficult to not spread so I am glad he is taking precautions. The picture of the antique car was interesting as well as the other pictures. How big were the chess pieces? That would be fun to play chess with a 3-D view.

Marilyn - I am praying for a fast recovery. I am glad you were able to go to church today.

I was late writing last night so I do not have much news this morning. I am going to be donating blood this afternoon. I was not planning on it but we had a cancelation of an appointment so the afternoon opened up so I can go. They called me this morning saying they were desperate for my type of blood. After that we will go to our friends house for dinner and Glenn will be getting a massage on his tight muscles in his neck. He did go back to physical therapy last week and they did dry needling in his muscle so it is better but it is still tight so our friend said she would try to help him too.

Judith - I hope the vet visit went well for Miss Sunshine.

Susan - safe travels for all of you. Did you get your batteries fixed in Alice Springs?

    Marilyn - prayers for healing.
