Now that would be something, to have the cops stop us for speeding and miss the horses hopping to the bops of the music!

Horses are trained to do so many exciting things! I heard that some can balance "mops" on their noses as they hop and bop to the music.

Yes very interesting Linda, it would be something to see the horses balance Mops on their Noses, I’d love to see that! How bout some Pom Poms that would be even harder! hehe…

On special days the rider throws flowers to the crowd while the horses are doing their tricks with mops and poms all the while dancing to the beat of the music. Yesterday the riders threw flowers to the "moms".

How appropriate for Mother's Day, Linda! Although over here, they would have been throwing flowers to the Mums!

I forgot about that difference in our language. In another ring at the horse show, I heard that there is a horse that can do simple "sums". I have a feeling the trainer has some behind the scenes hints for the horse though.

Clever horses! I remember Mr Ed, the TV show. When he 'talked' he was always showing his gums.

Hehe, I remember Mr Ed, he was one clever horse. As a matter of fact our Horses are all clever with their Sums that Linda said and their Gums you said Susan, yes some Clever Boys! However as we sit for ages watching our Horses our Tums will start rumbling from hunger!

My Ed was a favorite show of mine too. My brother's name was Ed also so He liked to watch it. When I am thinking about the songs that were played at the beginning of the shows, I find I am missing some some words but know the music. Sometimes "hums" help me remember the words.
    "Hello, I'm Mr. Ed
A horse is a horse, of course, of course
And no one can talk to a horse, of course
That is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Mr. Ed
Go right to the source and ask the horse
He'll give you the answer that you'll endorse
He's always on a steady course
    Talk to Mr. Ed
    People yakkity yak a streak
And waste your time of day
But Mister Ed will never speak
Unless he has something to say
A horse is a horse, of course, of course
And this one'll talk 'til his voice is hoarse
You never heard of a talking horse?
    Well listen to this
    I am Mister Ed!

Too Cute Linda but way too Funny as I read the famous quotes of Mr Ed! When I think of these shows that were so innocent, nothing evil always good Family Friendly shows! I grew up with good programs as did my children. It’s so sad to see how Television has gone! No such thing of Good Family programs with no coarse language and all the other things that have replaced programming that we didn’t have to worry that our children would hear. So sad that Course Words, pornography and other evil shows are all over our airways. I can’t even think about how our grandkids and great grandkids will grow up amongst all this evil.

Oh that Jesus would come back soon and take our dear children home to heaven. All I can say we need more Mums to watch over their children and not allow those innocent eyes to see and cover those ears so they don’t see or hear such evil!

Yes, good mums are so needed to talk to the children when they have questions and to be able to direct their minds as Jesus would want them to go. They are subjected to so many evil things at school and through videos. Without good teaching, their minds are open to so many things that they believe because somone in authority says it is right. It really "muds" up their thinking.

Yes, we need better mods than what we have. (Moderators). They need to care about kids again.

Chidrens minds are so moldable. I wish there were "pads" that we could put over their ears that only let in good and inspiring talk to be heard.

Yes I so agree, and we need more Dads around who will be hands on kind of Dads protecting their children from the things they should not hear or listen too!

Dads and Mums are both important in training the children. They need to have strong convictions and not be swayed by "fads" that come and go.

Yes, fads do fade and the children need to learn things that are stable and more lasting. Things like core values to live by.

Yes that’s so true Fads do Fade but many people spend time or should I say Wade through all the fads they can find, such a waste of time!

Looking at Fads and how some waste their time and Wade through the Fads, sadly there is a gal on the Island by the name of Dale and will Wade through every Fad until she finds one she likes. Be careful, I’d stay away from her before she draws you in one of these Fads!

I'll be sure to resist if I meet that lady, Judith. Thank you for the warning. I'll sit right here on a hay bale and think about that.

Becareful sitting on the hay bale, Some of them have thistles in them that are very prickly. You might be "pale" from pain if you sit on those bales.

I have put signs on the bales with thistles so no one will get hurt. I made the signs red in the shape of "palm" leaves to get their attention.

Thank you Linda as I don’t want Susan sitting on the Hay Bales to watch for the lady we need to avoid, wonder if your sign could have the warning about the hay bale and the lady to watch out for Linda? Her name is Dale Linda, if you can it would be so appreciated! I will give you both some Healing Balm ointment just in case you sit on the Hay Bales and get thistles. Would be some painful!

Oh my, the hay bales I have sat on in the past have sometimes been a little uncomfortable! I will wear my blue jeans and hope they will protect me from the prickles but the signs will be good to have. Maybe we could find some green palm leaves to put on the bales as well to make them more comfortable. I'm all for staying calm and uninjured!

Susan, I agree, let’s stay Calm and Uninjured! Yes let’s see if Linda can get extra Palm branches so we can cover the area to cushion and protect where we will sit! So we can stay as Calm as a Lamb!

I may be climbing out on a "limb" with this prediction but I believe palm branches are on sale and I think I can get the store owner to give us a discount for the large amount we would need.

Wonderful, Linda! Thank you for sourcing palm leaves for us. We can stay calm as lambs knowing that. My lime tree is fruiting (I wish that were true in real lufe!) so I will make us a jug of lime juice to refresh ourselves.
