One plant that is as old as the Old Testament is the "reed" plant where baby Moses was placed to be found by the Princess. It is very useful in making writing sticks for the clay tablets as well as papyrus. I'm not sure if it helps with the carbon dioxide exchange or not but it is definitely useful.

We sure don't want weeds in the garden, but alas, we probably will get some. When we feed the plants we want, we'll also be feeding weeds! But we'll stay on top of them.

I have some weed and feed mixture I use on my garden I can lend you. It is formulated to "feed" the plants and kill the weeds. it is much easier to use than to hoe out the weeds.

Yes so true Susan, as we feed the plants, we’ll, weeds always appear, unfortunately Weeds are a part of every Garden, can’t get away from them, however as you say we will stay on top of it. So having said that; one Deed deserves another Kind Deed so we will alternate in who does the weeding for what day and what garden. Sound like a good plan! 😃

I like your idea of the weed and feed, Linda. It will help keep the weeds to a minimum and help our plants to grow. The weeds will be dead!

Susan - it looks like we cross posted again and it is intersting that we had the same word in mind.
Researching is a great idea since some weeds are more difficult to get rid of. We need to get a "bead" on what works with each weed.

Yes I thought it was interesting too. I actually went back to read couple times as I thought one of you posted twice and that was when I realized it was the both of you having same word! Now that’s pretty “Cool” as my grandson would say!
So we need to get a lead on how we can get rid of those weeds! So let’s go to the library and read up on all we can get to rid our garden of the weeds. Is that a Deal? Let’s go for it…

Yes, I see we're at the library. I know there is a teal coloured book that has information about weed control. I can't remember the title but the colour of the dust jacket is a clue.

That’s right Susan and Linda: it might be at the tail end of the season but September in our parts produces an awesome harvest.

Once the end of the season comes and we have a bounty of produce, we must make sure we do not "fail" to share with those in need.

Glad we are planting in the northern hemisphere. We would have had to have our seedlings in the ground by the end of March here, to get good winter crops. Then we would also avoid summer heat and hail.

Yes Linda we sure need to be mindful for those who don’t have much or can’t afford fresh produce, we don’t want to Fail in sharing. Yes, you are right Susan, especially when it comes to summer heat, I had to water my garden extra. And of course we sure don’t want or need Hail!
We need to be careful in all these seasons of hot cold storms and many more, we don’t want to find ourselves having to Bail out! 😳
