Judith - I was not trying to correct you, I thought it was an interesting word to use. I was just using a homophone that fit in. I have used words in interesting ways too.
Yes we need to spend as many hours as we can as long as the children in our "house" to train them in the way they should go.
HOUSE

I agree with you both. I liked to douse my children with Bible stories when they lived in my house.
DOUSE1 -
No worries Linda, all is good 👍😊
Yes Susan we all liked to Douse our Children with God’s Precious Word! That’s a great word Susan:
And speaking about having God’s Word in our House it reminded me of all the kinds of Bible Stories I had for my Children and even today as I packed I found the Books in my House I bought to read to my Grandchildren, Solomon, Noah and a Story about God’s Food!
HOUSE0 -
I would be as quiet as a mouse if you were reading those books to me, Judith.
MOUSE1 -
I would love to hear them also. It would "rouse" my mind hearing all the miracles God did for his people.
ROUSE1 -
Amen Amen Linda and Susan, it would Rouse my mind also hearing all the Miracles God did for His People, and I’d be quiet as a Mouse listening to those Books being read. All we need to do is find a new Route to create these stories.
ROUTE0 -
I certainly would like to find another route to create our stories. I do not want people to "poute" when they read what we have written.
POUTE (it is normally spelled without an e but I have seen it both ways)1 -
I'll take it, Linda! If anyone pouts after reading our story, I will be sad!
POUTS1 -
I have seen it spelled both ways too Linda; and I agree we don’t want people to Poute when they read our stories. And yes Susan, If anyone pouts after reading our stories I would be sad! Yes seeing people having “Bouts” of sadness would be devastating for us all to observe!
BOUTS0 -
How could anyone have pouting and bouts of sadness at our words of affirmation and stories when they are so encouraging. There could be some people also who make fun of our work. These people who do this could be considered "louts".
LOUTS1 -
That sure would be a sad sight. Judith. I hope no one has bouts of sadness from reading our story. No doubt we shall do our best to make sure they have smiles on their faces!
DOUBT0 -
Indeed, I so agree Linda, yes I join you and call these people Louts! And we don’t need any Pouts or Bouts either.
POUTS 😆
Sorry had to use Pouts again!

This is a hard thread to find words. I do not like the pouts or louts since each of us "pours" out our hearts to make this come to a successful end.
POURS1 -
I think we were all posting at the same time when I found the word DOUBT. But we all found a word! It sours our success if we have pouty louts criticising our work.
SOURS1 -
Yes that’s for sure, we sure can take Tours over the words we find!
TOURS0 -
Our words often make me laugh! Yours and mine!
YOURS1 -
Laughing is good for the soul. It had me giggling so much I could not stand up but was on all "fours" on the rug.
FOURS1 -
Yes I giggled 🤭 along with you Susan and if I could I would join you Linda on all Fours on the rug…Hehehe 😂 yes I would be Lol for Hours

In short, that picture in my mind of the two of you on all fours laughing is hilarious.
SHORT1 -
Yes that would be a really funny to see us on all fours - but I do not care what people think of me. I will "shout" it out to join me to everyone I see. Laughter is good medicine.
SHOUT1 -
Thanks Susan, in Short, I can see you with that picture in your mind. Haha 😂 yes let’s Shout it out Loud to everyone who will come and see us LOL on all Fours…😆 some won’t give Hoots about it! Haha
HOOTS0 -
Another old saying is the opposite of laughing. It was "shaking in my "boots" meaning I was very nervous. I think if I had a choice I would want to be laughing not nervous.
BOOTS1 -
Yes, though some nerves can be useful when you have to do something challenging as they make us hyper aware! We'll be sure to cheer and shout out WOOTS to whoever is speaking, in support!
WOOTS1 -
Yes WOOTS WOOTS Susan, and Linda I have heard that saying too but I’d rather be Lol then being nervous shaking in my Boots! Ok so As the Train goes by our community and blows its whistle in a distance all we will hear is Toots Toots to you all nearby! hehe, I couldn’t resist!
TOOTS0 -
Is this the train that we need to go on for our next adventure? We had better get our running shoes on our "foots" so we do not miss the train.
FOOTS1 -
Maybe boots would be better for our next adventure!
BOOTS1 -
Sounds like a good plan, boots to keep our Foots dry and we need some “Loots” Bags filled with yummy things to munch on. My Grammar just went out the window! 😆
LOOTS0 -
Our grammar is not in question with this thread. Our words are "moots" point to all of us.
MOOTS1 -
Lol! Yes, no doots about our grammar skills at all! (Read doots with a Scottish accent).
DOOTS1 -
Haha you gals have made me Lol 😂 I agree Linda, our Words are Moots hehe and Susan yes no Doots about our Grammar 😄 I am laughing but the beat of our Words makes my Toots tap tap to the beat, do you see my (Toes) or “Toots”tapping a way? 😂😂😂
