It sounds like they found his owners and they are going to go for him. It did encourage me to reach out to a breeder of his breed to confirm my suspicions.... They want you to agree to wait a year to neuter and I'm not willing to do that. Looks like another Pembroke corgi is our future puppy. Not that I'm disappointed. I love Pems. Just thinking a Cardigan corgi would have been different. But I'm just not willing to agree to delayed neuter. I'm also not willing to put down a deposit to get on a wait list. A deposit AFTER my puppy is born and I pick him out from the litter, sure. But not just to get on the wait list. It's funny, when I told her I'd prefer a blue merle, she immediately said you want to breed don't you? We won't sell to you if you want to breed. No, I don't want to breed. I want to neuter as young as possible so that we don't have any marking or behavior issues. Definitely no interest in breeding here.
I spent an hour today on sort clean move toss. I went through all my craft supplies and organized them. I've got another set of plastic drawers coming because I really need more room.

My Thanksgiving was wonderful my grandson came had 9 people at my house. I am back on plan with my eating ate to much yesterday.0

I didn't do too bad with eating yesterday. I peeked at the scale this morning to see how badly I did yesterday since tomorrow is my weekly weigh in day and I was actually DOWN this morning instead of up! We'll see if that holds true tomorrow morning or not.
I made a Christmas gift for my mom earlier this evening. The focal bead is handmade lampwork glass by an artist in California. I designed and strung the necklace myself. I also bought a focal bead from the same artist for my mother in law, but I haven't made her piece yet. I will do hers maybe tomorrow. She will hang hers on the wall and display it. Here is a picture of my mom's piece. She loves cardinals, so I think she will be very happy.

Good evening. I am still reading my book, Think Yourself Thin. I am enjoying it. My mom thought the book sounded good so she ordered a copy over the weekend to read with me. One of the chapters I read tonight was about creating and immersing yourself in a support system. I have never been a very good "weight loss buddy" and checking in by phone, text, or email on a regular basis. Maybe I need to try that again. My mom is doing a different diet plan from me, but maybe she and I can create a "Buddy Contract" and write up our goals and our commitments to each other and check in via email a few days a week. We usually talk on the phone every weekend. I have other friends trying to lose weight, but I am not sure who is dedicated enough that they would want to make a commitment to be a Weight Loss Buddy. I do have a page on facebook specifically for my weight loss. I should make part of my commitment to be to post there more frequently than I am. I bought on Black Friday (online) a copy of Ring Fit Adventure for my video game system. It is a fitness game that uses your body movements. It arrived Saturday and I played for 17 minutes Saturday and 30 minutes Sunday. I wore myself out both days. My thighs are killing me today and I know I got a good workout. I just walked today, to give my muscles a break. The game makes exercise more fun. I am enjoying it and I am glad I bought it.0

We did not used to be close. When I was growing up, we both had untreated mental health issues so there was alot of tension in the house. I do not have many fond memories of my childhood. But as we've gotten older and gotten help for our issues (individually), we have gotten closer. I know I was not an easy child, so it is not all "her fault". Part of it was the way she was raised, too.0

Got my tree up last night as it started to snow on my way home. Happy December. Still need to put ornaments but it’s prelit and I love the lights.

Pretty tree. We are doing okay. We have some sinus issues today (and I did yesterday too). He felt off balance until he took a decongestant. I feel off balance and have a lot of sinus pain and pressure. No fever. Just change in weather, I think. Here is our tree. Hm, I guess I didn't save the newest pictures to my PC yet off my phone.

Saturday is my birthday.
I am making a special lunch and I did design/order a cake from a local grocery store chain that has a great bakery. 0 -
I cannot sleep so I have been working on my kitchen. I've spent over an hour (off and on). I reorganized two of my cabinets so that I can find things and know what I have. Then I organized my counter tops (the breads, etc) so that I actually have prep space now. It looks so much better.0

It is so foggy out I can't see any trees and it is freezing I am ready for summer and the heat.0

Sorry I missed yesterday. I slept in and went to bed early, making up for not sleeping the night before. I feel better now. My living area looks so much better. 95 minutes of cleaning and straightening up on Saturday, plus hubby did a lot of work, too. We still need to organize our cubicles and we need to organize the front bedroom and our bedroom. One step at a time. I had a good birthday. My shrimp stuffed eggplant was fantastic. Hubby said it was a restaurant quality meal. I was honored. It was only 4 WW points per half-eggplant for me because veggies and shrimp are 0 points.0

It has been rainy here. Going back and forth between warm and cool. I am frustrated with my weight. The 5 pounds to lose before the end of the year has turned into nearly 10.0
