Nicole you look great I am so proud of you.
I had another day without sugar or salt. My blood sugar is normal and I feel so much better I know my A1c will be much better the next time I have my labs done.0 -
Thank you Sandra. I am glad you are feeling better. Quiet day here. Played a game and have been reading a book. Hubby often doesn't feel well for several days after chemo so he has been resting a lot.0

Day 3 no sugar or salt was craving sugar today but had an orange instead.
Nicole you are a wonderful wife taking care of your hubby plus work and taking care of your health not many people can do all that you are such an inspiration to me.

Thank you Sandra. I never considered myself strong or inspirational, but Lucas' health has taught me that I am strong and my weight loss efforts have shown me that I am strong and that I can inspire others. That is so great that you had an orange instead of sweets.0

Day 4 no sugar or salt but did have low blood sugar all morning got it back up by lunch time but I am a little tired tonight.

Good morning. We are up extra early today. We normally wake up around 5 something and the alarm is set for 6 just in case. We woke up at 4 this morning. I have a lot to do at work this week.0

I am so excited February 15th California mask mandate will be lifted have been wearing a mask for 2.5 years.
I had 2 sips of hubby's chocolate shake today didn't taste good that was the only sugar I had today.0 -
Been having problems with low blood sugar all day and I have been eating on plan.0

Hi Sandra. I am sorry I missed a few days. I didn't realize it was so many days. Been super busy. It is the weekend of the month that I have to do a little work, but that's okay.0

Today 5 years ago my mom died it has been a very rough day for me went to the cemetery this morning put flowers on mom's grave.0

It is so warm that I have been soaking up a lot of sun. Monday the cold weather is suppose to be back for the rest of the month not looking forward to the cold weather.0

It was so much cooler today like 20 degrees. My blood sugar was low again today I went over my points but I am not giving up.0

Sandra, don't ever give up. You've got the right attitude saying you won't give up. We are house hunting.... Trying to trade for a more affordable home. We got our pre-qualification yesterday and are hopefully going to start looking at homes later this week. It is bittersweet. We built this house. That was a dream of mine. But, my husband is not going to live forever. I won't always have his disability to help me pay for it. Before he got his disability, we were on the verge of bankruptcy. I can't do that again. We need to trade for something I can afford on my own.0

I am emotional today. I am nervous about the house hunting, afraid we won't find something we want in time, worried about what happens if we don't. Just overall nervous about selling my "dream" (building a house) and doing something different. We are hopefully going to look at homes in the mountains this weekend. Maybe I will trade one dream for another dream. I am sad about the whole situation. Been getting a lot of exercise cleaning and sorting and so on. I really do hope we find something ideal.0

I had a great day at work today. We are going to look at three properties tomorrow. The mountain homes did not work out, but I am excited about the three we are going to look at.0

I forgot that I didn't share yesterday that we spent the morning at the emergency vet. Our corgi injured his back. He is on three medicines now, but is much more comfortable.0

Wednesday we made an appt to go look at a house Thursday (yesterday). I had this gut feeling that it was going to be "the" house. We went to see it after work yesterday and we loved it. We told our agent on the spot that we wanted to make an offer and she wrote it up last night. We signed it this morning and she submitted it this morning. Please keep us in your thoughts.0
