Seller wants more time to make a decision. Agent says this is normal in this market. This is really playing with my emotions.

Nicole have you heard about the house?

Our agent called this afternoon. Seller countered. Said they would choose us if we up higher and we said no. We already bid more than we were really comfortable paying because we liked it so much. Just not willing to go any higher. We already offered significantly over asking price.

Nicole sorry you didn't get the house.

It's okay. There will be other houses. We might have considered their counter if we didn't have to put money into it right away to fence the yard for the dogs and get some type of storage building to make up for the lack of garage. It had a metal carport cover, but no enclosed garage or outside storage. We are going to look at another house on Friday. Showings don't start until Friday afternoon.

Nicole I am praying you find a house you like Friday.

Having some constructions come today to find out how much to put a walk way in the stairs are getting harder for hubby and me to climb to get in the house. there are 13 stairs to climb to get to the front porch and they are steep. Don't want to sell and move been in our house for 37 years.

I hope it is affordable, Sandra. The house we are seeing Friday has I think 8 steps to the front porch and we will get a quote to put in a ramp/walkway after closing if we get this particular house. We have another house we are going to look at on Saturday. Thank you for the well wishes for our house hunt.

Leaving in about a half hour or so to look at another house. Just finished working for the day. I would say "yay its the weekend" but I'll be working a good bit this weekend because I have so much to do. At least I can work on my own schedule this weekend.

Nicole good with luck with the house.
Had to gas up my car paid $ 6.29 a gallon. I usually see my sister once a week I had to cut back to every other week until gas comes down.

We filled up after the last house we saw and we don't go out very often, so hopefully it will last awhile. I can't believe how expensive things are getting. We are driving more with the house hunting than usual, unfortunately. The property we saw today was breathtakingly beautiful. Fantastic views, pretty trees, lovely house and yard. I guess we shall see what happens. Our agent is going to be working on the paperwork for our offer in the morning.

We had warm weather this weekend. Upper 70's. Today is supposed to be mid 70's, but a storm is coming in this afternoon. I have butterflies waiting to hear about the house. I wish I didn't have so many anxiety issues. It is what it is. I cannot control the outcome, yet I still worry over it.

I'm sorry Sandra. I hope the work gets done to your satisfaction. The listing agent said they are hoping to let everyone know by noon today, so I guess we will see.

    Nicole sending you 🫂.

The construction workers dug to deep and broke our main water line. Another repair we don't need.

I'm so sorry Sandra! Are they insured? It seems to me that they should pay for the water main repair since it was their fault. Did they not do "call before you dig"? Is that even a thing there? Here, construction workers are supposed to call before they do any work to get water lines, gas lines, etc marked before they do any digging.

Nicole yes I did the call before they came also they do have insurance so we don't have to pay for the damages.
My eating has been all over the place I am starting WW again on Sunday no more excuses I can do it.

That's a relief, Sandra. I am back on track this week. I had gained back 10 pounds with the stress of house hunting, but I've gotten 4 of them back off so far. We can do this.

Hi. Just another busy day at work. We are going about 45 minutes north after work tomorrow to a "resort" to look at three houses available for sale. Visitors can only access through the main gate, so it is going to take a lot of doing to get between houses, but it is what it is. Some of them are on opposite sides of the river and there is only one road inside the resort that crosses the river. It will be a great way to see the resort as a whole, though.

Good morning! We went to a beautiful place to look at houses after work yesterday. So far, every house in this area has had high speed internet available, but houses came on the market and sold so quickly that I could not verify every single address before we left. I need to double check internet speed on the one we want to make an offer on this morning.

Offer was submitted late yesterday afternoon. Maybe the third time is the charm.
