For the type of way we wish to track our food or to choose a certainly way to eat, is up to each member. The reason why is what works for 1 doesn't always work for the most. Please ask questions ,,, I, myself, refuse to cut out any foods. I learned from another 5% person @lindastephens14 and it's stood me well. Over time strange to me, I rarely have any cravings eating this way. You have a good plan I read it. Do you live in Oregon? Near Portland? I live in Maine, in the Greater Portland area. SO FUNNY our pathway is also called the Greenbelt. Not as wide as yours, and some bicyclists think it's a SPEED TRACK!! Overall though the majority of them are careful.

@Cseguin2 ,,, WOOHOO that you won't miss your invite!! We love having you with us. Nice job being ready to go and being packed!! Do you find as I do, that I end up packing "those few things I might need."? LOL I RARELY EVER NEED THEM!! LOL!!

Today PT came, a SMALL TINY WALK down the hall, and I couldn't catch my breath!! She was concerned, but this is my normal. She was trying so hard to figure it out. When she comes next week, no doubt she'll come with ideas. In the meantime she said no getting on the floor with Izzy. LOL WELL it was no getting on the floor for exercise, but hey, Izzy is on the floor and so very very cute.

@Dianedoessmiles1 - I love visiting other places. Kinda scary at first but I end up alright. Sorry your can't get down on the floor and do some exercises. That does stink.
@bookieNJ - You would think they would want to know why.
@Poppy_Merwanjee_Framjee - Glad you were able to ride your bike. Maneuvering around people and animals is so hard to do. Sorry about having covid. I hear it sucks. Glad the sunshine came back for you though.

To answer your question - if WW is what you are using, you may continue to do that. The Challenges are meant to enhance what you do now and to give you some tools to help you to be successful but are not designed to change what you are doing, that is a personal decision.
Hello there! Thanks for signing up and we are looking forward to our start date of 7/9. The Overall Leaders (well, actually @Ceriusly1) is busy putting the teams together and the leaders of the individual teams are busy planning and doing a lot of work 'behind the scenes' and will be reaching out to invite you to your individual team once we are ready. This is the 'Airport' of sorts, once we are set up, we will be asking you to pick up your 'Boarding Passes' for your individual planes (teams) and you will get further instructions.
To those that are new, you may feel a little confused at first but be assured, stick wth it and ask questions and get to know your team mates & you will be fine!Our 2022 Summer 5% Challenge Dates:

Personally, I like to put these dates into my calendar (I use Google). I put in a weekly reminder (on Saturday which is the beginning of the Challenge weeks) and that really helps to keep me on-track as I can see the beginning/end date ~ I know how far I've come and how far I still have to go. Of course, nobody has to do this - it is just for me, but I find it really does work. Nowadays when everyone is glued to their cell phones - it is a great tool/reminder and always with you!5 -

Good morning everyone! I'm looking forward to the challenge starting. I didn't do as well in the Spring challenge as I would have liked and plan to make up for it in this one. 😁4

I have been walking around our local park which is kitty corner to me and it takes me 6 minutes to do one full walk about - so if I do 2 then rest and then do 2 more that will be almost 20 minutes. I can do this through out the day. I did more walking last night at the Fraser River Park and paid the price and could not sleep as the legs ached all night long, I over did it by 4,000+ steps and over 60 minutes of walking. It is good to know the walking at the little park will be better in smaller increments. We get our first mini heat wave this weekend, I am hoping it is not too too bad for folks. On the way home a huge plane flew in and looked like it was coming right at us at one point, but of course it was not. I got a good picture of it to share. Maybe the 5% challenge plane will be like this one:
I am preparing to do the Dash diet for this challenge, I like that food management program and I like most of the foods it recommends. I also have the cookbook too so I can try some different recipies.
Lots of activity at the river park last night and I got some good shots in too. Have a great weekend everyone, what ever you plan to do, keep it healthy, keep it safe, keep it real !!!

happy friday everyone! it is a warm and sunny day here today! woo hoo! the weekend is here! my daughter says hi to all! today is her last day of school until September. both budgie birds are doing well and say cheep, cheep! i got in strength training workout this morning and i feel amazing! i will be going for a walk in a while. i will be doing a lot of dancing tonight, as i am going to an 80's dance party! the dance party is sponsored by my favourite radio station. this is the first one since Covid-19 started two years ago. have a great day, everyone! take care and stay safe.3

It's going to be unusually warm here today, so the mother raccoon moved her babies from under the neighbors woodpile into the woods. It was so cute I had to share.7 -
Officially have lost 15 pounds since starting MFP! 🎉 I am so thankful for having our 5% Challenges continue here when SP ended. Has been a huge support for me & kept me plugging along on my get healthy journey. @Dianedoessmiles1 I was on Spark People for the 5% challenges but there my username was NANCYPAULINE and I was on the WRJ&Gs. I think you invited me to the Dawgs for an in-between challenge. But there was someone on SP and maybe here as well who used her last name Bruns. That's probably who you're thinking of.3

Hi everyone! Town pool opened last weekend. Today it was finally warm enough to go. I swam 10 laps and caught up with a friend. Other than a slightly blocked ear, I think covid shot side effects are gone! Slept so much better yesterday which was nice.4

HI All!! RUNNING behind tonight (Isn't that exercise?? RUNNING?? LOL) I am sure you understand. Behind the scene things are a happening for us all to enjoy the 2022 Summer 5% Challenge!! WOOHOO!!! It's so much fun being a leader!! If you see @Ceriusly1 saying "We are hiring" oh PLEASE come in and enjoy the fun!! Being a Leader does not have to take a lot of time, many hands make the load light. But, you'll get so much more enjoyment than you could possibly give. I have a GRAND TIME even after doing this for 11 (YES Eleven years). I started as an ML - Motivational Leader with the Spirited Under Dawg team on Sparks. I was so green on what to do, but all of the leaders and members helped me to learn. That same spirit still continues here on MFP. Everyone helps everyone.3

good afternoon everyone! it is a very warm and sunny day here today. my daughter says hi to all. she is working at her part time job today. both budgie birds are doing well and say cheep, cheep! everyone is keeping cool and well hydrated here. i enjoyed the 80's dance party last night! i love to dance and i dance at every opportunity i get. i have been for a walk and i feel great! i will be doing some dancing in the evening, when it is a lot cooler here. have a great day, everyone! take care and stay safe.1

Good Evening Everyone!
It's not hard for me to enjoy my vacations when and wherever they are. Today I took a very long walk compared to my normal walks. Seen lots of interesting things. The photo is on the trail I took for a bit when I started heading back. My cousin thought I was crazy when I told here where I walked and how long it took me. Also got to see bunnies, Cardinals and other small birds. Also went with my cousin on some errands and to pick up her grandson. When we got back we all loaded into "Papa's vroom" lol and went to move large stones from a friend's house to theirs. Got to fallow the little guy around for about before he was tired of me. Now I am sitting and posting all for the day.

Amazon wanted me to buy a year (I THINK it was a year) sub, and normally I'd not look at it.. It wasn't really much $$ at all, LOL Just ticked me off I could buy just the one magazine I wanted (SPOILED I AM!). But I WILL Hunt is down. CONGRATS!! WOW 163 lbs. GREAT JOB Pam!
