@Lindiemaep ,, you may need to put a cushion or something on the chair in a way he doesn't ruin it. It's a natural for cats to love the smell and feel. Hollering wouldn't help any, it's natural for him. So you'll just have to work out a way that he can't ruin it on you.

good morning everyone! it is a beautiful sunny mild day here today. my daughter says hi to all. both budgie birds are doing well and say cheep, cheep! i did my strength training workout earlier this morning and i feel great! i went for a walk a while ago and i enjoyed it. i will be doing some dancing after supper. i am helping out a friend of mine this morning to run some errands for her. i like to help others when i can. have a great day, everyone! take care and stay safe.1

@Tabatha_Cain -I get it! If I am home sick or have a sick kid, I will purposely try to beat a certain round on the games I play on my phone just to feel like I accomplished something. This past weekend I rediscovered timed sudoku games.

I will see the Dr Thursday, I am seeing his asst. because I couldn't get in to see Dr Patrick until Dec. so thought I would do this and see what he has to say. It is raining which we need. Good Evening Everyone!
A quick check-in. It's going to be a late night and an early morning. Today was another wonderfully normal day. The residents at work had ravioli, salad, garlic bread, mushroom soup and canned pears. Hope to share a photo of my costume tomorrow. Oh yeah my hours are getting extended as of tomorrow by half an hour. Woohoo. Also looking at an extra half hour at the beginning of my shift as well in the future. Trying to release some of the pressure off my managers shoulders.1 -
@Patti241 ,,, Indeed they are. That's okay, in the dead of winter its soup time, casseroles too, so many ways to make things healthier. I never used to cook, up until the pandemic. So many places closed I felt forced to, thanks to youtube and allrecipes.com I was able to catch back on. Now I easily cook!! Do you like to cook any dishes?

@Bookienj,, It RAINED ALL Day on and off, but mostly on. We even had 2 small thunderstorms!! This time of year that is not all common. Not in the least, was funny until I had to get out of my car, I had driven home after PT,,, and lightening came pretty close. Though it did make me laugh some. TY TY TY TY awww I spoke to my GGS today, he was being a typical funny 5 year old. I LOVE THAT of course!! I came across an old Sudoku book today!
@Kurtize,, GLAD you are seeing the Dr's assistance, if they need they'll let him/her know ASAP and may even consult right off while you are there. GOOD!! GOOD!! Hopefully this will help. We had rain as above also. TO bad we can't share it with areas that really need it.

Hi all hope your day is going well. The sun is out today,60 degrees, breezy. Cat's seem to rule. We only have had one Cat, Kato, she was quite the character, liked outside better then inside but never went far from home. She would catch our neighbors gophers and put them on their porch, Cynthia would almost faint each time she opened the back door was never sure what Kato would leave for her.
Nothing too much planned. Have been doing my PT exercises and that is about it.

@Kurtize,, Oh I am so glad Izzy is an indoor kitty. I have NO DOUBT she'd be trying to bring me geese!! Those things can be mean!! Easily she'd do what she could, but thankfully she's an Indoor kitty so instead I get fur mice, balls, birds that are stuffed. LOL!! I am sure poor Cynthia was somewhat amused, and yet, not really!??? Hope you enjoyed the days.

We finally got the rain and the grass has already greened up a bit. I have enjoyed every minute. Got the Omicron vaccine and so far the arm is doing great.
The leaves are really starting to fall and still beauty is shining through ~~

Good Evening Everyone!
Another beautiful day. Today was rest, weigh and TOPS day. Gained back the 2.25 lbs I lost last week 🙄. Oh well under the circumstances last week I am lucky it wasn't more. Working on getting back on track. We had a Halloween party at TOPS and one of the ladies sent me a photo she fixed up for me🤣.
Also did my nails this morning for Halloween.
There has been some tension at work. Trying to figure out how to deal with it. The residents had chicken breast, oven roasted potatoes, green beans, gravy, veg soup and pumpkin pie with whipped cream.

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Thank you for all the birthday wishes. I received the best birthday gift this year. My boyfriend in the ruse of a birthday party proposed to me. So we are now engaged to be married. We have set the date of June 24, 2023. 8 months from now. I am excited and trying to plan everything all at once.
@cormierannie - I could not run today. It is raining.
@Kurtize - My cats seem to rule as well. I have 3 cats. My cats are inside only.
@bookieNJ - It is raining here too. I miss the warm weather from this past weekend.
@NovemberGail - Glad your grass is finally greening. That is hard to get grass to green so late in the year.

@Cseguin2 ,,, That's cool the way your coworker did the picture!! LOL It's amazing what we can do now. Did you do your nails? Such detailed work. My GD loves doing nails in deep details. So sorry things are not that great at work. Hopefully they'll calm down. Wayyyy down. I never enjoy that. The grocery store could be if a certain manager was on, whereas if another one we just KNEW It'd be a GREAT NIGHT!!! He LOL always gave us candy (I usually refused it, but LOVED the gesture, told him "Though I do not take any I STILL would you to offer it to me, because it's such a kind thing for you to do!) He was paying for it himself. Many eons ago when I worked at the same store ,, but different location (Mall) ALL of my workers would WHINE ENDLESSLY on Sunday to go home early. ALL OF THEM!! So one day I went from register to register in front of the customers, with chocolate pacifiers!! I told them in a silly voice (they knew I thought the world of each of them) "No whining any more, but you ALL WIN the prize!!" Giving it to each of them. They loved it, the customers loved it, from that Sunday forward they worked even harder for me, when they were already doing so well.
I had my GGD for about 3 hours today. LOLOL He's so silly!!!! It's so much fun watching them grow. We played Paw Paw Patrol Trouble (Like the regular game of Trouble with Paw Patrol on the board). At 5 of course he doesn't really play it right, what counts is to hear the laughter. He's such a gentle kid.

Good morning everyone, it's a bit of a breather from the rain this morning and I was able to walk to the dollar store and pick up some small planters as my plant is getting thinned out and hopefully the cuttings take so I can gift the plants to others to enjoy. I have to watch Amigo though he loves to eat plants and this one will make him sick, so far so good - he's sniffed the dirt but not nibbled on the leaves. Then this afternoon I will be doing some volunteer time with my congregation.
@Tabatha_Cain congradulations !! Breath deep and just sit and think what you want and then write it down, no doubt you are still on a high from the proposal !!
@Patti241 I hope your friend will be ok and he gets the help he needs !!
@Dianedoessmiles1 wasn't that a great meeting last night and the congregation book study was superb!!! Glad you enjoyed time wiht your ggs. How is he liking school ?
@CSEGUIN2 I wonder if there's been problems at the work site for some time that have not been addressed, it is so difficult to work in a stressful environment, it's not healthy at all. I hope it all gets worked out for you.

@Lindiemaep ,, Glad the rain gave you a break. It's still raining/drizzle here. It should be gone by sun up though. YEAH!! Ohhh Izzy would behave in FRONT of me, but when I wasn't in the room (mine was one that didn't hurt her though) they are tricky monkeys for sure!! I got RID of all plants though because of stupid gnats!! They are so nasty!! Thankfully hehehehe I DO NOT eat freggies, cause they love those too!! Maybe I saw when when I was really little and swore them OFF FOR life? One never knows!! Meeting was as always so good last night!!! I did not go in person, wasn't feeling well. But, we all have those times. Awwww GGS LOVES school he is part time (Pre K) and goes tomorrow and Friday, and I "think" Mondays too. He was so funny today, LOL We have the same humor, which is just way to funny. His POOR MOM!!! NOT!!
@Patti241 ,, glad he's back home. Hopefully he'll well fast and well! My friend with cancer just got covid for the 2nd time. AARRGGHHH!!! That'll put off her latest surgery and chemo. We were already so worried about her.

Congratulations, Tabatha! I was hoping that he would be proposing soon.
My poor kitties stayed in hiding most of the day because I decided to do some heavy-duty cleaning. Almost every piece of furniture was moved to find any and all dust bunnies. I love a clean house; I love cleaning cottages--but I do not enjoy cleaning my own so much.
My kitties rewards for having to hide is I found all their favorite toys behind the refrigerator. We'll see how long they keep them from disappearing again.
