Smoke salmon lox? Candied salmon? Oysters or mussels or both?

Got the lox and mussels covered! Pickled herring.

They don't even keep you overnight for a mastectomy - single or double! Maybe that is for the best though :) Hospitals are no place for sick people.

My recover from that was very easy, Yooly. The most discomfort came from the underarm lymph node removal. Hard to find something comfortable to wear around that incision.

Started back to the gym this morning after almost 6 weeks off. Not too painful 😣 but then I couldn’t do the full usual routine. Limiting upper body exercises.

How are you feeling Yooly? Pain free-ish?

No pain really. The surgery was only partial and has healed well. The pain came from actually having to some muscle stretching! 😳

Gave the house a good scrubbing- floors, doors and all in between. I’ve got to get it done while I still feel okay. And hubby is getting his pacemaker consult next week while I get radiation ☒️. So no one to nag for a while and lots of doctors appointments in the foreseeable future.

I’m considering cleaning services but I don’t really like strangers puttering about my private spaces. Might have to get over that - or lower my expectations of a clean house?

This clean thing is a lot of work!!!!!!!! I mean not only do you have to vacuum and mop.... but then you have to vacuum and mop again a day or two later!!!!! <eeeek!!!!>

Mind you... it does contribute to NEAT!

It's a tough question. I might have a cleaner place if I were willing to myself. Could work as long as you don't clean for the cleaners!!! (because hey, this DOES happen!)

Yeah - I’d clean for the cleaners because I would be anal that way…. Totally ridiculous but that’s me.

May I suggest a poke in the eye? My place looks great to me. Until I get down on my knees and within inches of floor/baseboards etc. then the true horror of the situation hits :#

But, I generally feel like I am walking around in a very clean house :)

It is "tidy" - there is not a lot of clutter - but ...

Hmmm poke in the eye does work. But there's some drawbacks 🀯🧐

Went back to the gym this morning. It was slow going after being away for months but I managed an hour of gentle workout. πŸ‹οΈ

I think our eye sight compensates for diminished cleaning capacity! Or else I πŸ€”

I’m able to get through a moderate routine at the gym. Treadmill, stationary bike, some weight training. Still not doing any upper body workouts- maybe another week or two it won’t be so twingey.

Another attempt at getting back to a regular exercise routine! I think I may be ready by Friday. The radiation burns have finally healed enough to wear a sports bra. After four months of stop and go (mostly πŸ›‘) I’m hopeful.

Gym tomorrow morning. I went Friday. The plan is to get back to 3-4 days a week at least. Four months of being a slug 🐌!!!
