Yup - the annual family visit to Ohio. All family on both sides is there. We do it once a year but it’s not a “vacation” per se.
Also guaranteed is a ton of family drama and kvetching. And lots of I made your favorite dinner - EAT!

I was able to log in this morning! woohoo. I've tried at least once a day every day - usually twice. It feels like a special prize :)

You made it in!!!!
What happens when it fails to work?🤔

It just hangs.
For awhile I could log out and log in when that happened, and it would work - but not lately.
But look :) two days in a row.2 -

Back to the gym this morning after two weeks away. Wasn’t too bad.

Light (spent a lot of time on bench, sitting😄)…with the one eyed red monster! Nearly went to park, but she still looks a bit scary - don’t want to fighten any kids! Had a stroll by the river instead…was very nice!

I’m being referred to physical therapy for a rotator cuff problem. Basically a stiff frozen shoulder thing. Does that count as exercise? I’m hoping for massage versus actual painful motion exercises…. Yeah fat chance that will happen.
So I’m counting therapy along with my thrice weekly gym sessions. 😇

Hey, missy! That depends on whether they gym you… or just "coddle you" — in an admittedly painful fashion, probably :( Is the physical therapy person nearby, or will you have to be driving driving driving? On the plus side you may be able to "mine" the PT people for any other aches and issues you may have????? Could be helpful!

Coincidentally the gym is right next to the physical therapy place. I guess they get a lot of business from people who hurt themselves at the gym 😂.
So I’m planning to hopefully do it all on the same days and rest up in between.1 -
I've done well this week with my exercise:
Monday - leg day + 2.6 miles, easy, on the treadmillTuesday - 30 minutes stair stepper (my nemesis) for 80 floors + 4000 m on the rower
Wednesday - upper body day + 5K on the treadmill in <45 minutes
Today's a rest day for me, might just be a slug and not even get my 8,000 step goal. I'm hoping to hike again this weekend, but the low tire light just went on in my car, so might need to spend the time at NTB instead!

I’m doing a hour of physical therapy for the ankle/ balance twice a week. And an hour three times a week at the gym. I guess that’s pretty good for a superannuated lady!

Go super duper annuation lady!!!😎

That 80+ floors is IMPRESSIVE!
I don't see how it doesn't kick anyone's behind! Heck my legs burn well before making it up to Dad's 11th floor (though I slow down for HR containment before leg failure)🤷♂️

Snuck out on admin time to go to the gym - was able to do 100lb on deadlifts and squats today, best ever. Then, did 2.5 miles in 36 minutes - after leg day!
I'm well on my way to my goal of a 5K in <40 minutes.
Now, I'm hungry for lunch 🤣

This is like…. RUNNING!?!??!?!?!!!! :)

My car's in the shop again 😣, so I decided to walk out to Salata to grab lunch. About a 1.5 mile round trip. Still a little too hot, unfortunately, especially without my hat (in the car, of course!)
They say we are supposed to have high's in the 70s next week - will believe it when I see it. If that happens, it'll be perfect weather to start walking outside over my lunch time.

It's like an alternate reality. The ultra hot and ultra cold. And I can't say that I would even remotely enjoy either.
We are in jacket(s) weather. But personal heat comes into it too. I was out with hoodie and jacket.... and a guy was walking in t-shirt and shorts 🤷♂️🧐🥺😡
