Saturday already! It’s day #10 (of Covid) and even though I tested negative on days 7&8, I tested positive today.
My CW is 180.3. Blah. I don’t like that either. Oh well. I’ll lose the Covid pounds as soon as I’m up for more exercise in the coming week.
@micki48 sorry I took so long getting back to you about your foot. The major arch on the bottom of your foot is helped or hindered a lot by the big toe. Does the pinky toe hurt more on the top, side, or bottom of your foot? My email is: Evelyn.L.Adams@gmail.com
Shoot me a message there and I’ll send back some ideas to help with foot pain.
Have a great night!

Just laying in bed not able to sleep 😕 I am just having thoughts and some anxiety about my new job starting Monday. I know it will be fine and everyone seemed very nice. Stress and no sleep aren't good for weight loss. I hope it doesn't cause any bad decisions tomorrow!
Great job on the weighs in this week! I can't wait to see the overall results tomorrow! 😊6 -

It's been a long week and I haven't worked out as much as I planned, but next week is a deload week because I have finished Caroline Girvan's Epic Heat program. After my deload week I will be starting a new Heather Robertson program.
Next week is shaping up to be a long one too, so I am going to have to pay close attention to my sleep and water patterns.
I'll be back later with my stats.

Oh my goodness!
I'm so sorry I forgot to post my weigh in last Sunday! I really don't know what happened 😔

I'm so sorry again Team!
Have a lovely Sunday ❤️6 -
@micki48 I feel I follow your story somewhat...... When we moved to our apartment, we thought that was it until we move from MO which will either be back to England to retire or to FL for a last hurrah before we go back to England to retire.
We live on the third floor halfway down the hallway. It is 120 steps to the elevator and then we have to cross a large foyer and go through two security doors to get outside the building. This is great for us because it's more steps, more movement. However, my 12yr old pup with arthritis in his hips is struggling and it's getting harder and harder for him (this issue has only came up since we moved). For that reason alone, when a ground floor flat came up we asked to move there. It has a patio and a gate to the grounds so he will only have three steps to get outside instead of a long arduous walk. We move this coming Saturday. So that's us moving three times in one year. Far from ideal but you do what you gotta do for the fur babies, anything to make him comfortable in his twilight years.

I knew we were going to shine this week! The whole of F2F did great, but we really, really did it! And not with a few people making huge losses - this was a true team success Results will be posted soon!5

Steps were difficult this week from Jack's injured paw and all the rain we've been getting. I told myself I would hop into the gym to do some treadmill steps, but by the end of the night, I couldn't muster the energy to leave the house 😒. Jack seems better, so hopefully, next week will be more consistent.
I'm going on a first date tonight, and I feel like I am sixteen again. Eeck! What am I going to wear??? I have 12 hours to figure this out!

Oh yeah! I wasn't expecting this much of a drop this week after a 3 lb loss last week. Busy and somewhat stressful week ahead. Going to the gym today for the first time in months!! Then some batch cooking so I have easy, healthy options this week.6 -

Way to go team!
I hope everybody has had a good weekend. I've been off work Fri/Sat/Sun and the weekend felt really long for a lot of it, but all of a sudden it's 21.45 and back to work tomorrow.
Thursday afternoon the metaphorical bus hit and a cold has been kicking my backside all weekend. It was my birthday on Friday, and I wasn't really feeling like going out but I'm glad we did. We went to a little zoo not too far away and had a fab time. It was possible to feed some of the animals including otters, meerkats, a goat and some armadillos.
When we got home we pretty much crashed, both being unwell. I did manage 5 minutes on the treadmill (just so I could say I'd been on it - less than 5000 steps at the zoo!) and we had a planned takeaway for tea.
Yesterday after 30 mins on the treadmill, we went up to Yorkshire, had lunch with my mum and sister, then I had my hair done and we went out for a friend's 40th. It was a 5 course tasting menu (not my thing!) but I managed at least something from every plate except the seafood course which reaffirmed that I do not like seafood. The very first dish was a smoked chicken salad with cashew nuts, mango, honey mustard dressing and a pink peppercorn crostini - I may try to recreate that one!
Today we had to do the supermarket shop, then connected up the water butts at the allotment. I've also done a couple of small DIY jobs at home as we had the tools out. OH is back at work on a night shift, I am going to do a 30 minute walk on the treadmill then probably pass out. I haven't been remembering to log my food as well over the weekend, but have put it down to a combination of being out of my routine a bit and being ill - my head is like a sieve, and whilst I'm sleeping well, it's taking a while to get there because I can't breathe properly. I'm sure I'll feel back to 100% tomorrow when I'm stuck working!5 -
Happy belated birthday @DD265 .. you're probably right the second you're back to office you'll feel better, hate the way that works out sometimes. Anyway, hope recovery is right around the corner
@bobagurl2017 Enjoy your date.. how fun! My steps are always higher because of my dog too, so I know when she can't walk for whatever reason I too suffer to motivate to walk just for my own sake.
Feeling a bit up and down today - been a bit snappy. Not really sure why. Our football team won, water is on track, and I started the day with a Peloton ride. Goals are being accomplished today. I definitely have the Sunday blahs... no matter how hard I try to fight it.
Planned chicken dinner and a walk left for today to keep things on track. Good job in week 2 team - solid showing!

@bobagurl2017 You're feeling like a teenager going on a date, wondering what to wear and all, and I'm feeling like the mom hoping everything will go well! I hope you have a good time, or at least that it will make a good amusing or cautionary story to recount later!
@DD265 Meerkats and armadillos! Feeding those would be fun I always picture meerkats holding little handbags like the Queen...
I had my first good snowshoe walk today! I'm in heaven. There was beautiful sunshine, deer beds, and my favourite dancing partner tree.
I hope everyone had some beautiful moments today.

@ashleycarole86 Sorry you are in a funk despite having it all together. Hugs and hoping the day got better. And Brad!!…CONGRATULATIONS on being our number one loser. Way to go!! 👏🏼👏🏼
@evemakeschanges I will be in touch.
As I said before, it was a crazy, unexpected week. First thing tomorrow, I have an appointment with a dietitian to talk about a plan for me. I don’t expect him to fix me like that 🫰 but I am interested in his insights and recommendations for me. Then right after that, I am going to see my daughter’s new house to be. They will be doing the inspection. We still haven’t had a productive conversation about next steps with my son. Send good vibes please. I need to sell that house to get a new, hopefully, forever home. And make sure he has a good place to live.
I haven’t ticked off all my habit tracker checks. Wasn’t making good habit decisions but my steps are good and I lost for the week. Read a bit more of Atomic Habits. Good stuff. Still missed reading 51 posts but caught up with the more recent ones.
@conleywoods I am so sorry to hear about the bad news your father in law received. Sending hugs and healing vibes. ❤️

I had a great time in Denver but since we were at a conference center, food choices were limited. I ate a lot. I drank more then if I was home. I did get one workout and then walked another day.
It's time to get serious about my diet. I feel like most days, I do ok, but I know I could do better.7 -
Hi everyone,
Well today didn’t go as planned. I haven’t had much steps in and I didn’t make it to the gym. My little one is so poorly I had to take today off work. She kept us up most of the night and I felt guilty thinking of leaving her to go workout so I stayed home.
But on the bright side my first daughter who is on the spectrum had a great day. She participated in her play class which she has never ever done before. I just couldn’t believe it😀. I’m so proud of her so despite all, today is a big win for me…6 -
Hi there... @jugar Not sure if you remember me, (Vikki - Gidgitgoescrazy) but I would like to come back, and this is the group I'd like to come back to. I deleted by old account, so this is a new one. I know I can't start till Feb, and that's fine... PLEASE4

Vikki! @Gidgitgoescrzy Good to see you. How's your back? I still have a quote I stole from you written on my wall: 'I won't get stronger by crying over it'. It's a much nicer version of 'Suck it up, Buttercup!' that I tend to have rattling in my brain when I get down on myself for quitting on workouts because they're hard. Love the new profile pic!3

The habit tracker has definitly helped with the loss this week, I'm the kind of person that thrives off checking something off and feeling accomplished.
@wishfuljune - fantastic steps this week
@zankash23 - it's the little things that we have to celebrate as moms, remember to take it easy on yourself you are in a heavy season from the sounds of it.
It's that time of year where the days are still short and easy to get down. I"m working on getting outside everyday and getting enough sleep to keep my mood up. End of Jan can be such a hard time7 -

OMG! It is so great to see you back! You can start right away no problem. Just give your best guess of your weight for the past 2 weeks and dive right in. I was just thinking of you a few days ago - this team is always ready for cheeky smart and interesting people! I had missed you. So YES - you are back. Just tell me what day you want for weigh-ins, and we're off and running.5 -
@Gidgitgoescrzy Hi Vikki!! Welcome back. We’ve missed you. Glad to see you back and ready to work toward your goals. Always loved your posts. Still here ready to get real with you.
I met with my RD today. It was really good. We’ll meet again in a month. So many of the things I am doing right are because of you all right here and the things I learn from you. He said 1/2 - 2 pounds a week is the goal. We all know that the lower end is realistic and would certainly be a success if consistent. He said aim for 1700 calories (I said mine were set at 1650 through MFP). I know if I log honestly I will lose. He also mentioned calorie cycling if I know I have something special coming up. Ashley I think you have talked about that. Saving 100 calories for 3-5 days so you have extra calories for your special event. Without guilt. Now my realization is that I can’t treat every day as a special event. Lol. We will talk about exercise and other nutrition next time. Oh he also recommended a calcium supplement and a dexascan to check on bone mass, etc.
I will do better logging these next few weeks so we have good data.
Talk to you soon.7 -
@micki48 I can always come up with a reason for it to be a special day 😂 But I like what you said about the calorie cycling. That definitely makes sense! I know some people who have a lower calorie limit mon-fri so they can have extra calories on the weekend. More of a weekly calorie limit vs daily.
@Gidgitgoescrzy welcome back!6
