    Sat: 14.2mi Run/walk - Conquered my first 25K in the hills of AR - War Eagle Tailtwister!! whew... that was HARD.. Need. More. Hill. Training (& trail miles!) - Garmin only recorded 14.2mi of what should be a 15.5mi route.. dang hills, switchbacks & trees!! Thankfully avoided lightning during the run (stood in the open waiting for shuttle bus in thunder/lightning/rain!)

    Awesome Job Wiglet for completing 1040!!!

    Sunday was the Best ride I've had this year! No trails, rural road, a few minor grades. Weather perfect, with a slight breeze. Was out riding at 6:30 am. Completed ride in 2:45 with a couple of 5 min breaks. Looking to do some longer rides real soon!

    Thanks for the happy birthdays. I ran my butt off, my longest trail run yet, so I could chow on pizza and beer for dinner.
    Wiglet- Congrats on hitting goal for the YEAR before it's even half over. Marathon you'll be there soon if you keep getting in those nice rides.
    I did my first double digit run yesterday- ten miles! I started out way too fast but that was my first run someplace flat so I really struggled to pace myself at the start. I also got to see where the triathlon I entered for next month goes. I'm looking forward to it although I'm worried about the bike portion. It's all flat. Where I live is nothing but hills so you bust your butt going up but get a break going down; I'm not too sure about the constant peddling.
