Hi I have been doing Leslie's dvds for a few years now, and I love them, every now and again I do something else, but I always come back to Leslie. At the moment I am doing 3 miles for 4 days and 4 miles one day, with a half an hour jog/walk in the afternoons, just to try and sift my holiday 4lb gain. I love her energy and all her walkers aren't super thin, just like us human
Anyway I am glad more people are joining this group as it was quite for a while.0 -
AnnofB, you walked 17 days of 25 possible and made 53 miles, although you had a lot of commitments. That's terrific :happy:. In the end, showing up is what is important. If you show up, you will loose weight in the long run. That's inevitable.

3 more days with 0.6 miles per day and I've reached my goal. I am noticing that walking is slowly becoming a habit. Not the first mile, it is always difficult, but as soon as my legs fall into rhythm which happens after about 0.6 miles, they become self going , I just have to lean back and enjoy the ride :laugh:0 -
Alex, thank you for the encouragement. It sounds like your habit is slowly becoming embedded.
PinkyPan1, the smell of summer rain always makes me smile and I don't care who sees me enjoying it. I'm happy to have found a soul sister. It is certainly not silly to hope for more, my vegetable patch needs it.

LouAnn, Wow, just wow. Your updates motivate and inspire, as soon as I am stronger I hope to emulate your consistency and love of walking.

AnnofB, Thank you for the encouragement and for introducing me to Debbie Rocker, I'm on the lookout for a dvd of hers now. We do seem to be a determined bunch this month, the determination is infectious.

Good morning and Happy Friday everyone. I logged an additional 4.5 miles this morning. I just wanted to share that in the last week I have been thrilled to see 3 additional walkers in my neighborhood up and walking at 5:30. My NSV...One couple stopped and told me that they have sat and looked for me to go by each morning as they had their morning coffee and then decided that they too would start walking. This made my day.:happy:0
