    today: 6 miles
    total: 70 miles

Why restrict yourself and say "I will not walk any more than five miles"? I'm glad that you are walking for the distance that feels right for you each day.

    Great outlook Pinkpan1!

No rain here yet- did 4 at the track. I love this Edmondo app- it allows me not to "think" just enjoy the miles. Honestly before I would have to pick up stones to mark my laps lol-
Hmm I went from the "stone age" to "technology" lol!

    Questions:
Which "advanced" dvd do you use Bandit5125? And the other question: Pinkpan1 what is the Silver? I don't think I have seen that one before.

Terrific Tuesday is well underway folks. Can not wait to see how much 'hoofing' is done today.

Oh Startergal53, I am so glad you like Endomondo! Isn't it great motivation??? I just love hearing it say 1 mile in 14 minutes 50 seconds, so I can increase my pace and beat it in the next mile! No more looking at my watch while I am walking and trying to figure out my times. Enjoy!

lol zichab yeah it's like I have someone to beat and that someone is me. Too funny.
Also, I am checking the history on it which makes it great in case I forget how far I have gone. What really cracked me up was mowing last week. I had no idea that I was getting what 7.5 miles in when I push mowed my yard. I'm looking forward to Friday so I can mow lol.

Did two miles tonight total: 34.5.

Welcome to all the newcomers!

slept only a couple of hours last night, and was tired the whole day. Attempted to walk in the morning twice but managed only 1 mile each time. In the evening I attempted one more mile, but this time it was much easier and I kept walking 4 miles.

    Tuesday:

0 miles: taking about a week off of DVDs
I'm recovering from DOMS and the bruising after 2 severe muscle cramps.

30 minutes: very easy walking outdoors on only flat streets

    Goal for June: 40 miles

So far: 9 Leslie/ or other walking DVD miles

    So far: 150 outdoor minutes

Wednesday - Thursday: not walking indoors or out. Will evaluate on Friday.

Great seeing all the miles being walked by every one. I'm (almost) patiently allowing recovery and repair time for my legs. So I am enjoying reading everyone's posts :flowerforyou:

Hi all! You are my inspiration!!!! So far, I have done 10 miles up until today (6/10). Since it's been raining here on the East Coast, I make sure to get a mile in in the evenings when I work as a cashier. When it's slow, I just keep walking back and forth. Between that and my walks during lunch time, I am still do good. Keep up the good work everyone.

jak227, that is awesome how you use your slow time at work to get in some walking miles. Such a wise use of your time!! What an inspiration YOU are :flowerforyou:

Hello new to this group. I just tried my first Leslie Sansone workout last night and liked it a lot. I was surprised how many calories I burned "just" walking. My goal for the month is 30 miles... I am keeping it low because I will mix in water aerobics and other workout dvds.

June 9th - Three Mile Weight Loss Walk

    3/30 miles done

Welcome lisa2219!! I am glad that you have joined this group and the monthly walk challenge  . I love the 'Three Mile Weight Loss Walk' DVD especially because of Mary Kay's fast middle mile  . I really like that mile and will do that DVD whenever I get to wanting to walk Mary Kay's middle mile again  .

You have a well rounded exercise regime that you are doing... awesome!!

What a wonderful morning! I walked an additional 5 miles outside this morning and I feel awesome. I jump out of bed at 4:45 each day just to get my walks in. These walk have brought me peace, joy and weight loss. What's not to love? TMI.... and a tighter butt! LOL
