Yup. You've seen me on BB. That's how you're on my friends list here, I posted in the Fat Loss section months ago looking for advice.
Top 3 is not going to be as impressive as other because I'm partial to caramel. 9 out of 10 times I'm choosing caramel. I will tell you my top choices. Talenti #1. The rest in no specific order.
Talenti Salted Caramel
Steve's Salty Caramel
Coolhaus Chocolate Molten Lava Cake
Ben & Jerry's Half Baked........especially in between 2 chocolate chip cookie dough Pop Tarts
Gifford's Caramel Cookie Crunch
Gelato Fiasco Peanut butter stracciatella
Ah ok, thought I saw you on there. Talenti's is always a solid choice. I've had Steve's and was not impressed, I like mix-ins so that's why I enjoy Talenti's. That's a good list, I'm a peanut butter cup fan so mine would pretty much be B&J, Wegman's, and Edy's PB cup hah. I'm surprised 2nd Street Creamery's Copper Kettle Caramel is not on there, it is ridiculously good, even better than Talenti IMO.

We have discussed it in depth over at the BB ice cream thread that the Steve's caramel would be perfect with truffles in it. I can understand you not enjoy it. I've disliked many ice creams people rave about.
I've actually not gotten my hands on 2nd Street. I've heard many good things but I haven't searched for it. I might just do that this weekend.
Ah ok, sorry about that I must have missed that discussion. Yea food is all personal preference, just how like I enjoy Halo Top while others do not. Definitely try 2nd Street if you can, it's one of my favorite ice creams.

2nd street is no where near as good as Talenti, it's okay if I've run out of everything else and picking up something quick at Wawa but the caramel is clumped not swirled through, it's also not as creamy. It's better than B&J but no where near as good as Talenti0 -

You must have gotten a bum pint because every time I've had 2nd street the caramel was awesome and present in every bite. I still love Talenti, just not as much as 2nd street.

I actually looked it up as soon as I saw her post but found nothing. Damn. The only popcorn ice cream I've ever seen is from Market Pantry at Target. I wasn't to interested in it.
And of course, Australia sounds awesome. I have no babies so no need to worry about no stupid dingos!!
I guess it will be on my list when I go visit them.

Huh, nevermind then. Yep, individual preferences then hah. I like hard ice cream so that's why I enjoy halo top.
On a different note: I picked up Wegman's banan-a peel'n and nutter batter and both are ridiculously good. Like, the banana may be my #2 behind B&J PB cup. I only had a spoonful of each but I plan on having a bowl sometime this weekend. Have you had either of those before?

Yes some of us prefer good ice cream
Haven't tried any Wegman's flavors there isn't one close to me.0 -
Turns out LolBroscience knew what he was talking about-- I found the Raspberry Cheesecake Talenti while I was looking for the eggnog (still no luck there). Pics and review later tonight.0

Hah hey now, I enjoy the premium stuff too! Ah ok, shame as they are both solid.
I may have Edys pb cup tonight, not sure yet, definitely not halo top lol.0 -
Found this today at the largest Publix in our area. Now I wonder if I might have seen it there before. Anyway I only have one complaint about this one-- the chunks of cheesecake are so big that they hurt my cold-sensitive teeth. That's not much of a complaint though, is it? Overall it's a very nice flavor-- generous raspberry swirl, the creamy texture I've come to expect from Talenti, and a really nice fresh cheesecake flavor with a hint of lemon. It doesn't break my top 3, but it's definitely yummy and you can't argue with the calorie count-- only 200 calories per 100 gram serving.
LolBroScience is hereby vindicated.0 -
I want some of the raspberry cheesecake... I only managed to fit 200 grams of talenti. Caramel cookie crunch today.0

No photo handy, but my wife brought home some Tillamook ice cream because it was on a crazy sale. Not sure if you all a ways from the west coast have seen this -- Tillamook to me is a brand associated with cheese (cheddar, in particular), and maybe cream - basically dairy, but never really ice cream before several months' back in my view.
Had a bit of the ridiculously-wordily-titled "Oregon Hazelnuts & Salted Caramel." Very well done! Basically a salted caramel base with tons of little tiny bits of ground hazelnut. Will devour again and again.
One of my daughters also tried the Tillamook Mint Chocolate Chip and exclaimed with a bit of a shock upon opening the carton "it's not green! It looks like normal chocolate chip." No green dye. She tasted it and said "But it's really minty!"
Having just stolen a few bites of the (still ridiculously-titled) Oregon Hazelnut & Salted Caramel I will reinforce my view that Tillamook is doing a very good job of breaking into the high end ice cream / gelato market. Very nice. Very balanced. Good underlying salted caramel flavor and great mix-in ratio / consistency on the ground hazelnut.
And somehow, miraculously, the Mint Chocolate Chip disappeared and an empty carton ended up in the recycling bin without my wife or me having had a taste.
Finally, as I mentioned previously or elsewhere, I'm not a huge eggnog fan (more interested in the brandy / whiskey / spiced rum / you-name-it-liquor in my nog); but my wife is an egg nog fan. She heartily endorses Talenti Egg Nog as "super creamy and very, very egg nog-y." Wife and kids are going to destroy that innocent little pint.

Now I need to find that raspberry cheesecake.. I should have never doubted LolBroScience
Cortelli - I agree with your wife's review of Talenti Egg nog
Today my Jeni's order should be delivered if you don't hear from me for a little bit I'm busy devouring it all0 -
Jen we eagerly await your reviews...0

You know what's funny? Occasionally I'll run into an "off" brand ice cream that tastes better to me than one of the far more expensive brands.
My local Pioneer supermarket just started selling these 1.99 pints of off brand, cheapo ice cream called Welsh Farms. Ever the curious one, I was floored to taste their Vanilla. It was full bodied and a really smooth, delicious taste. Texture wasn't bad at all, though not as silky as some of the more haughty brands. But I always contend that you can tell a lot about a brand by it's vanilla, and this one floored me.0 -

Looks yummy! Have you ever tried the Raspberries & Cream? I saw Giant had that flavor, but for $4.99 a pint I decided to wait for a sale.
Today I bought
and
Will try the Edy's tomorrow.
Anyone find the Edy's Egg Nog yet?

I love that my nieces & nephews are garbage disposals. Whatever I don't like snack wise (Pringles White Chocolate & Pecan chips sucked) they'll devour.

They messed up my order some and sent me ice cream sandwich collection instead of the collection I ordered... so they said I could keep the sandwiches and they would send out the correct collection WIN WIN cause if the rest are as good as this I might really wear out my credit card ordering more.
The macaroon was perfect texture just hard enough to hold up to the ice cream, nice crunch, salted hazelnut that didn't overpower the rich dark chocolate ice cream.
Had this and tried the Whiskey & Pecan - wonderful whiskey flavor but again not overpowering, super creamy ice cream.. the couple bites I had were lacking in the pecans but hopefully there will be more. I was pretty full at this point but really wanted to taste it so only had 2 bites.
My husbands comment "I don't want to know how much you spent on all of this, I don't even care we will be ordering more"
