I enjoyed it immensely. It's very good.

I eat ice cream every night until it's gone, and then restock on Sundays... lol

I just tried a good amount last night and holy crap, this stuff is legit! I normally discount non-premium brands but TH hit the nail on the head with the Sea Salt Caramel Froyo. Definitely going to be a staple in my freezer.

Yeah, I was actually really surprised at how good it was. But honestly all of the greek yogurts from Turkey Hill so far have been really good. The only one I didn't really care for too much was the Lemoni Biskotti.

But I think the Sea Salt Caramel one is my favorite.

Yeah I didn't care for their Lemoni Biskotti flavor either. I did like their Southern Lemon flavor last year though.

Definitely will be buying their Whoopie Pie flavor today.

I'm about to scoop myself a serving of Whoopie Pie right now. Late breakfast. I found the malted chocolate chip last night! I think the whole store knew I found it. I'll have to keep an eye out for that froyo. I haven't gotten any of them yet. I should probably stop buying ice cream for a while before my kids go on strike, though.

You would think your kids would be happy that you're buying some good treats LOL! The Whoopie Pie is definitely yummy!

I saw Wal-Mart had Ben & Jerry's Candy Bar Pie, but I am not a huge fan of peanut butter ice creams so I passed.

My son's girlfriend is the only one helping me eat it. My kids are weird. I'm going to look for that B&J flavor, because I loooove peanut butter anything (except hamburgers, those were nasty). I'm guessing the macros are gonna suck, though.

They're pretty much the same macros as any B&J. I love that one though and I haven't been able to find it lately. :(

I'll have to keep an eye out for it, just to try it. Did you ever find the egg nog Talenti?

    nope no luck

If I knew how to ship ice cream, I would send you a pint. Srs.

Thanks. <3 I saw the Peppermint Bark but after Jen's review I didn't think I wanted to try it. And Publix has an eggnog flavor in their house brand but you have to buy a half gallon and I'm not sure I'll like it well enough to have that much.

I must've missed her review. I liked the peppermint bark! I actually only ate that one by the spoonful, because I wanted it to last longer. I bought a half gallon of Lucerne's egg nog last year and it was really good. I'll bet Publix would be good, but if you're not in love with egg nog, then that might be too much.

I bought two of the Turkey Hill Egg Nog, but wish I would've bought another Talenti instead. I am also glad I bought two of the Whoopie Pie.

I haven't seen the Turkey Hill egg nog. I knew you wouldn't be disappointed in the Whoopie Pie!

Tonight I tried the Blue Bell Southern Blackberry Cobbler. It was good-- nice creamy base with a fruit swirl and some chunks of crust. I liked it, but it didn't blow me away. Honestly though I'm not much for fruit ice creams so that's not a huge surprise. The calorie count is nice though-- 170 for 78 grams.

I'm the same way, not much for fruit ice creams. I can't find a store in MD that carries Blue Bell. I know darkguardian can get it where he lives, but that's like 3 hours away. I could go to Outback and get vanilla. Is it worth it for vanilla?

I don't think so. But I'm only a few hours from where it's made, so it's the common, "generic" ice cream where I'm from.

It's common here too. Idk. It's good, better quality than most store brands but not as good as Talenti imo. I wouldn't make a special trip for it.

OMW I love those pics. The second one is the best-- that one needs a frame. The head tilt is perfect. Happy Birthday again to Leo.

@auddii.....He wasn't a big fan of the bow tie. But we thought it looked cool

@Cortelli‌, he actually has several stylish sweaters, a hoodie, a raincoat, a winter coat. He's pretty spoiled. People find it funny we I'm out with him and both of us are wearing hoodies.

@Acrylics, everytime you talk to him he turns his head as if he understands you. It's so funny. That's how we get him to tilt his head for pictures.

My boys do the same-- I love it. I'll sit there and say "Do you want to go to Pittsburgh?" over and over just to watch the head tilt.

    Pittsburgh???? Lol, that's hilarious.

With him you can't say the word "something" because he runs to the closet stands there and stares back at you. He knows that's where all his treats are. If you say "you want something", he bugs out.

Idk why it's Pittsburgh. I think it's the P that they like but I can't remember how I got started saying it. I've never even been to Pittsburgh.

LOL the pics and the outfits are awesome. It remind's me of one of my favorite Friends episodes though... the one with the game show.

    Happy belated birthday Leo!

My continued search for Talenti Eggnog has been fruitless....I also haven't found Jeni's Egg Nog and Bourbon.

I tried Graeter's Egg Nog and it was pretty meh....I know egg nog can be polarizing so it seems them dialed back the flavors....it was pretty good vanilla but not egg nogey enough for me.

OK, I finally am on board with Talenti!

Tried the salted caramel, which was very good, but didn't overly impress. Based of recommendations here, I tried the southern pecan, which was even better, but again, still wasn't getting the big deal about this ice cream.

Until last night. My wife has been looking for pumpkin pie flavored Talenti all season and finally we saw it a Key Foods yesterday. She got two and went home. She texted me that this flavor was beyond brilliant and raved about it. And she was right. Tastes just like the best damn slice of pumpkin pie you've ever tasted, just creamy and cold. Amazing.

Key Food? Interesting. I very rarely go in there to search for stuff. I guess it all depends on the neighborhood.

Yeah, it's one of the Key Foods in Bay Ridge, which is a nicer area. It's designed like more of a gourmet independent supermarket than a typical Key Foods, and their ice cream selection is pretty good. They carry the usual brands, but they also stock about 10 or more smaller, indie gourmet brands. They have so much ice cream that several brands are always on sell for pretty good prices, which is nice considering the overall prices at this KF tend to be on the higher side. They've also got the largest selection of Talenti flavors that I've seen in the city so far.

It's the Bay Ridge Ave one, between 3rd and Ridge Blvd (2nd ave). Enjoy!

Had three servings of Giant Peppermint ice cream. Not bad, but not as many crunchy Peppermint pieces as the Weis version.

    Good morning!

I've been trying to go through my supply of Talenti & Jeni's so I can get more. How bad is it that my kitchen freezer is strictly filled with ice cream and everything else is out in the garage freezer?

Body parts... oh no not that... hmm just meat, frozen veggies, etc. Ice cream gets prime real estate

Our stand up "meat" freezer went kaput over the holidays. Now my pints of ice cream have to share space with bulk ground beef, chicken breasts, and pork roasts bought on sale in the basement side by side. The freezer in our kitchen is overflowing with waffles, chicken nuggets, fish sticks, and gogurts. We also decided to get rid of probably a 10 year old bottle of Jagermeister and the frosty pint glasses to make room for things. Priorities...

And here I thought everyone in this group only had ice cream and gelato in their freezers . . .

Oh no at least you have the basement one.

My garage freezer was supposed to be back up for meat sales etc... but my ice cream purchases have taken over.. only 2 reasonable options: eat all the ice cream or buy another freezer right?
